Try to take over the world?
I haven't done any racing yet (that report will come later), but I first hit the GTP account to check to see if, despite no mention in the June update notes, there were any Hagerty's price updates as scheduled (mentioned in the March update notes). There aren't.
After collecting my 1,000,000 Cr. for getting silver in the now-expired online time trial, I bought the Evo (used) and Impreza (new; the white in the UCD just doesn't suit it) and put the pertinent information in my spreadsheet. As the Valkyrie is the most-expensive Brand Central car (thankfully not also hidden behind an invite like its predecessors are), I merely put the basic information for that in my spreadsheet, and scheduled it for the last car I'll buy on that account.
My purchases allowed me to complete the new Extra Menus. The 4-star Wheel of Not-Despair from the Subaru WRX menu gave a stage 5 weight reduction for the 2001 Lamborghini Aventador, while the 4-star Wheel of Real Despair from the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution (seriously, PD, a 4-star from spending north of 300,000 Cr.?) gave the 2004 WRX...in the white I didn't want from the UCD.
While neither of the R32 GT-Rs that are subjects of the new engine swaps were in the UCD, I did get 2 each of the 2017 Alpine A110, 2007 Nissan Fairlady Z and 2023 Nissan Z for future engine purposes, widening 1 of each. I'll continue my spending spree later as I still had over 13.4 million Cr., and the last Hagerty's car I need (the longtail BMW McLaren F1, at 11,400,000 Cr.) is due soon.
On the Plus account, I got all 3 of the new cars, including the Valkyrie. I put the detailed information for that into my worksheet, then collected my 4-star Wheels of Despair from the extra menus. The Impreza Wheel gave a Roadster Touring Car, and an all-cash Evo wheel gave the 2nd-low-showing/lowest-legal 30,000 Cr.
