There's a secret code hiding in the back that leads to miss the CRB even if it's not obvious.
Its about time to reveal what exactly is .....

This is the working plan. There all are all BOP by lap times at Daytona oval. This not my race, I'm just racing the GTO as it is the closest thing to my Dad's 1964 Chevelle in GT7. I do long for the 1964 GTO to make a return. Honestly, I am not a fan of post Dodge NASCAR racing. To much spec and foam padding now.

I decided to work though more of the missions. Some were stupidly easy and others really hard to get Gold. One thing to take away is that I’ve no clue how to drift.

Got my daily reward ticket and when I opened it, I finally got the Lamborghini invite I’d been waiting for 🤘

That allowed me to get the last car missing from my collection.

The funny thing I’d, was that I’d thought I’d get a trophy for this, but I didn’t.

I fully modified my second Evo III and took it to Bathurst. Not content with the way it performed, I took it to Watkins Glen but it wasn't much better there either. The crude torque vectoring can pull the car around a corner too much, sending you straight into the wall. I then engine swapped and fully modified my 350Z which I then took to Monza. I did the same thing with the new Nissan Z and took it to Suzuka. Oh, I also bought the Valkyrie and took it to Spa.

Chasing down first place on race C, most started with soft and I chose hard, was 7 secs off first with 4 laps to go and just missed out by 4 tenths, started 6th - gotta love this game!

My daily ticket gave me 5000 credits.

I got drawn back into Sport Mode for the rankings bonus, it looks like I'm the only person in my county (with a population of nearly 200,000) who's bothered with the Manufacturer's Cup. I finished 4th and bagged 101 points in the Renault RS01, the tyre wear is absolutely monstrous on it. I only managed 10 laps on the Softs (which I'd picked because I qualified 2nd, and thought it'd get me clear of any lap 1 chaos), by which time I was 2 seconds off my pace at the start of the race.

I finished off the morning by dusting off the Alsace Human Comedy race in a lightly-tuned 240Z. I had a best lap of 2:26.027 towards the end. Hizal and Mangano gave me a decent scrap early on, but that came to an end when it was time to lap the Mini and the 500. I think they lost about 15 seconds behind them, and after that I just coasted around in FM6, and I made my only stop on lap 15 for just 80 litres. The tyres were barely worn, so I kept them on. In the end I won by 40 seconds from Beauvois.

BTW, did Ordonez's Sambabus get nerfed? I vaguely remember posts about how fast it was, but also how much time it lost from pitting.

Through clever buying and selling in the past months, I've managed to get almost all cars currently available in the game last night - well, at least as far as any grey silhouettes on the "Car Collection" page are concerned. The ones still missing? One Lamborghini and two Ferraris, all three of them only available with an invitation.

@SnakeEyes427 :

While I dig the Richard Petty #43 scheme, and the All-Black Superbird, I couldn't help but think of this..

Petty-Superbird.jpg

The original Petty scheme you did (on the Super Bee) seems a bit more fitting for a Charger, as was RP's main ride outside of the above pic in the Pylmouth Bird.. I'd love to see you get down with the Superbird with a plain 43 scheme (see above).. IMO, that would be authentic and choice!.. Keep up the good work!

Golded the BH TT with a 1.41.2xx (hope it will hold), I think I got a safe silver at RBR TT with a 1.18.9xx (will keep trying for gold later since I'm so close to the cutoff). Loaded some parts on the Evo X to do the new dirt race at the ranch then drove the Ferrari VGT for the Hypercar parade at St Croix and obliterated everyone. Bought the RS5 DTM and took it for a spin at Sardegna. This might be my new grinding car for Sardegna moving forward.

I inverted from yesterday, 8 laps on RBR and 4 on BH

Improved from 1:23.071 to 1:21.735 (optimal 1:21.173) on RBR (tried the boost button, useful but not sure it made me gain that much as it troubled me as well). Watched @Mistah_MCA's lap guide this morning and remembered some breaking points.

Improved from 1:44.757 to 1:44.435 on BH, not that much but it was to short.
BH lap count : 12

RBR lap count : 12

DW 4* brought ANOTHER Porsche invite, this time I closed the game, hoping that I'll be able to keep the ticket until next update to get another invite.

Ran the 12 o'clock time slot Manufactures Cup race. Did a couple daily races. Cycled through my garage for engine swaps. Did the Alpine and Abarth. I'll do the '95 911 RS next time one come up in the UCD. My current one is set up just fine.

My first day with a wheel, after 25years of GT, I've been playing since the PS1 with the standard playstation controller...and then I decided to upgrade.
Last week I bought a used G923 wheel from a colleague and this morning I finally put my hands on it...well, it's so difficult.
I was expecting this, after so many years I'm soooo used to be a controller driver that I don't mind about lots of things during races, it's almost natural for me to drive using the controller, obviously without any aid and with the AI set on Hard.
So...it's been a very tough couple of hours, I had to set back the difficult to Normal and bring back the ABS to weak 'cause I need to understand how much to use the brake, Traction Control also at 1.

Any suggestion? I Don't have any idea of going for a wet Nurburgring...but, well, don't know what I should do.
Today I drove a lot on Catalunya that I love, also re-took a couple of driver licences just to get accustomed, lots of gold but also bronzes...just have to figure things out and get the habit of using the wheel, but oh boy.....it's a great feeling!

Have a good weekend guys

I agree. The shot is of the person that is setting the cars up. We each picked one car. This is my GTO.

Same simple MOPAR brown my Dad's '64 Chevelle was painted. It has a simple memorial decal to him in the back window.

I got my engine swap guide list with HP numbers done, one grind race and, a 30k ticket.

I did notice a change in fuel and tire wear. The '02 Viper was getting a bit better MPG and was responding better to the fuel map settings. Tire wear with heavy wets was higher however, at x6 it seems like it would be realistic at x1.

On the Plus account, I continued working my way down the Gr.3 cars at Sardegna, ending up on the useless Suzuki VGT Gr.3. It requires FM 3 and a bit of fuel saving to make it 5 laps, the tires get sketchy around lap 14, and except at the end of a fuel run, it won't break 1:44. The only reason my 27:08 was good for 2nd (behind a properly-quick Portilla, who broke into the 1:41s) was Fraga had trouble with traffic early.

The month started off better than June, as the workout ticket was a 4-star. The lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. was the expected reward.

On the GTP account, I cruised around Sardegna in the Ferrari FXX K. It looks like it's the GTP's turn to get half the month in 3-star Wheels of Despair; this one gave me the low-showing 10,000 Cr.

Still, I had enough to get the 3 remaining Gr.3/B road cars I didn't have - the Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Mustang and Mitsubishi Lancer. That brought me down to 116 cars to get, at a cost of 104,805,600 Cr. I probably would just about have the garage full of unique models if I didn't have 316 duplicates - the cars that can be bought would cost me 497,177.473 Cr. to replace, with getting the 2001-2010 models from Brand Central.

It's good to see people race each other. I'm not in @Chikane_GTR's or @NW_Saint's league though. I'm also a nervous nellie when racing against actual people.

My Fanatec GT DD Pro arrived this morning before work. Didn’t have time to even open the box but I have Monday and Tuesday off. I’m praying that the seat I got will fit the stand but I’ll probably need to order a bracket for it.

As for actually playing GT7 I didn’t have much time since I work early tomorrow but I did 10 laps for the Valkyrie time trial and got a solid Bronze. Then I went to Sardegna in the Audi RS5 DTM, LM in the Diablo GT, and Spa in the 962C. My credits were at 12 million and the 4-star ticket paid 500k so I have 12.5 million which should give me enough for one of the McLaren F1 GTR ‘97 that I plan on buying next.

Wish you to enjoy at the max your new equipment @DextroCat .
Now you're officially a " deep diver " in the sim racing.

A quick one for the McLarens.
Witch of the 3 " worth " the most to buy ?
Am not talking about the price, but which one is more " useful " , drivable , fuel efficiency, entertaining etc.etc.
If ill buy one , i want to make the right ( short of) choice.

I would rate them.

McLaren F1 GTR 97' > McLaren F1 GTR 95' > McLaren F1 94'

:)

I went back to the Music Rally and got gold on each of the new ones. Then went back to the old ones and got gold on those I hadn’t.

With an in-cockpit view and classic cars for each rally and a grippy physics not found in the real game it was actually jolly good fun.

Unfortunately there is no staying power with the music rally. Once I got gold i probably won’t do it again.

If I'm not wrong, there's a bug on the 8th music rally, the gold score can't be saved. I'll wait for the fix to gold it.

I read another user say that if they saved a silver time first, you could then get a gold time saved after. I haven't tested to verify this.

I had an issue where crossing the finish line it would then just fade to an image of the music yet the race carried on, and never ended. I had to option and exit out.. This happened three times and it did dot record any score.

The fourth time I was screen recording to video it, to record the bug, and crossed the line with gold and then it completed correctly.

I don’t know what changed between the three that did not work and the fourth one that did work. Unless it was me actually getting the gold and prior to that I did not make the gold time?

They’re all pretty useful as far as grinding goes. The road car is the best for Le Mans 700pp and probably Tokyo 600pp but the GTR’s are quicker overall and more fuel efficient and are better suited at higher PP events like Sardegna or Spa 800pp. The ‘97 is definitely the quickest and most fuel efficient of the three and also happens to be the cheapest. One downside to the ‘97 is that it’s basically the slowest and least efficient Gr. 2 car while the ‘95 is one of the better Gr. 3 cars (before BoP).

What's you car setup?.. How much HP does your car have?.. Again if you want also what tires are you using and a i can switch to that..
As a follow up to yesterday's race, I didn't get a chance to see the above questions pre-race, so here's the answers..

The setup for my Enzo:

Enzo-Specs.jpg

..
basically when I 1st bought it I just slammed everything I could from the tune shop, dropped it to the basement (ride height).. RS's is my choice of tires, sticky, to keep me in the corners, except vs. you.. LoL..

PP= 836/ HP=958 @2100LBS, not too bad for a road-car..

And as for the race.. here we go! (multiple POV's.. & hit the U-tube settings for 720)

I was "almost" in a state of a nervous breakdown pre-race realizing who I was going against, I mean really, The Trillionaire!!.. but somehow everything mentally vanished and I got into "race mode", the confidence started kicking in, and when the race started all I could think of was just remain calm & just drive, but after that corner bump @1:40 I knew it was yours, I mean heck, I tried but you and that MAC had me.. Great Race @Chikane_GTR !.. We WILL run again.. possibly tonight..

And if I hadn't made it clear.. GREAT RACE! (win or lose, that was racing!)

Today I took a factory spec Aston Martin Valkyrie around the Nordschliefe,
no assists, (except ABS) and managed to do a 6:03.776 on sports soft tyres. That car is epic!
