What did you do in GT7 today?

Yet again, I tried the Maggiore 1hr. But this time, it was with a Mazda RX-Vision GT3 that I won through a ticket. That said, I still only came in around 7th, at least 20 or 30 seconds behind the leader. It didn’t help that I think I could’ve put the FM on 3 or 4 instead of 2, so that I’d ideally pit towards the end of lap 15 instead of 14. My average lap time must’ve been somewhere between 1:59 and 2:01, as I was mostly trying to do only one pitstop on RMs.

After that, I got a four-star ticket that netted me 500k credits, so that was indeed pretty nice.

Getting back into GT4/Gr.4 racing.

Bought all colors of Gr.4 650S and M4, four Cayman, four Supra(in addition to my Manu Supra). Mainly the RWD cars with tyre branding. Added the Gr.4 Mustang.

Done 12 laps around RBR and improved a bit. Best lap lost 0.3s then gained it back and improved, so there is margin.

Improved from 1:21.735 to 1:21.024 (optimal 1:20.358)

BH lap count : 12

RBR lap count : 24

DW 4* -> 10k, usual crap

@NW_Saint Thanks true be told I was also really nervous as well as someone that doesn't play online very often.

Today was another full day of Tokyo up to 60M.:)

Also I started to buy every car in BC again in every color available for each.

I don't know why but I just got a urge to buy cars. :embarrassed:

Its not only trillionaire ,its a fast one 😁
@smoothbore12

Tell me .. I was totally with the cat, confident in my driving ability, but those couple minor scuffs, especially at 1:40, & I knew it was his.. After all these off-line races nothing compares to doing it live, the adrenaline level is so different.. I'm tellin' ya, I was a nervous wreck in that 1st lap.. but you know what ? I LOVED IT!.. pt.2 is just a couple hours away.. stay tuned!

Str8!

.. that was my 3rd race o/l since GT7 came out & my nerves, I tried to keep my composure, and think I did ok from the start, but when I banged that corner at 1:40 all I could think of while watching you fly by was "oh ****".. LoL.. that made me wish for more guys like you to race o/l against.. straight, honest, no childs play, just race!.. cya at 5/8.. such a great game to be a part of..

Went from B/C rating down to D/E in 1 race, didn’t even know that was possible lol

Really struggling with Barcelona, but at least I’m getting some easy victories now…

Ground up to A/A which is a bit of a climb from D/E lol. I was one DR pixel away from A/S but had a scrappy race.

Much prefer Watkins glen! Really struggle with tyre wear and braking distances though. Not sure how to improve that tbh

Let’s see where I settle.

Second day with my new wheel, and second day ever with a wheel.
Took again a couple of license, the two before the final one, got all silver and a few gold, did that just to feel the wheel, to calibrate how strong to brake.
Then suddenly moved to sport, did a couple of races and I did pretty well, I was expecting being so bad after 3-4 hours of wheel but it went smooth.
Aid off, just TA 1 and ABS default

On the GTP account, I'm finally done with Hagerty's, at least until more cars get added there, as the longtail BMW McLaren F1 returned and was snapped up. That leaves 115 cars, at 93,405,600 Cr., to go to a full garage (plus 2 each of the Nissan R32s for engine purposes, at something less than 1,000,000 Cr.).

To regain some of those credits, I took a tuned-and-swapped 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL to Sarthe. The 4-star marathon roulette gave a Mazda Atenza Road Car, which I flipped for 111,240 Cr. as I already had one to keep stock and one to tune. I got the rest of the SEMA cars - CHC Chevy Nova, Roadster Shop Rampage and Wicked Fabrication GT51, knocking down the needed cars to 112 and the credits needed to 92,505,600 Cr.

On the Plus account, I continued the march down the Gr.4 list at Sarthe with the Peugeot RCZ. Despite a spin in the 2nd Mulsanne chicane on lap 7, it turned into the Little French Car That Could, holding off a hard-charging McEwen in a dry race. It doesn't have the speed to do a 2-stop run (my fast lap was just under 4:25), and it requires a tire change (that's not why I spun), but it will last 4 laps on fuel.

The 4-star marathon ticket helped for a change - even though it was the 2nd-low-showing, and lowest legal, cash prize, it was the 2nd-highest-possible 500,000 Cr.

Grind

Eat and get Scooby-Doo ready for tomorrow night's MNRL

Grinding more

Blowing all of it on the Group 2 Benz before it goes away.

Plus all the race tires for it.

Race rains, race hards and, brake control for the Valkerie.

Total left in bank apx 7700

Real life can put such a strain on building or car collection 😮‍💨

The McLaren F1 GTR's price remains the same and still has an ↑ (increased) mark.
So I believe you're right you said that no LCD price update was made in the latest version.

Culled/Sold/Discarded the garage again. Dropped to 28 cars. Kept seven E30 and six E30 SE, six RS 500. Keeping hope alive for the R31, 190E and EG6.

That was last night since I couldn't sleep, I took the M2 Competition and the GR Supra (both stock on sport soft tires with upgraded brakes) for a few laps around Spa. The M2 is composed, at times heavy but feels fast from the get go, meanwhile the Supra feels light, playful and tend to oversteer a bit in the braking zone and yet from the best time I posted for each car, they are separated by a tenth in favor of the M2. I wonder if that would be the case in real life!

Got a 5 star ticket for daily marathon which gave me 500k credit. Most I've gotten from the wheel in a very long time.

Just wondering if @NW_Saint charge his weapon against our Billionaire, Trillionaire. or whatever starts including the ..... illionaire inside.
Come on guys , don't keep us in agony.

Am ready to spend about the Mac 97 ,the second car with two digits in front after the XJ .
Any quick info about how many laps can run at lemans ( if he can run of course ) and at what FM, will be welcome.

Valkyrie can't run at 700 pp anyway ( perhaps due to standard high aero settings) but is the reference of " brutal force" .

@smoothbore12 :

Negative.. the Enzo is definetly my fav. ride.. although, last night was kinda' interesting.. Chik & myself ran 3X!!

1st race: he brought the Valkyrie.. I was expecting his MAC, but such was not to be.. so I thought ok, this is the new car i'm going against.. and he promptly whooped my hide... LoL.. so, onto..

2nd race: I thought ok if that's how it's gonna be.. so he shows up in his prize MAC (which btw, is a helluva' road car, if it is a road car.. not really sure tbh..), regardless, after that 1st race and the pasting he gave me, well, decided to break out one of the BIG guns, the Ferrari VGT!.. and whilst' it was a good race that Ferrari is just too dang fast, and really shouldn't be classifed as a road car.. So needless to say, it was my time to do some pasting.. Good race @Chikane_GTR .. you coulda' thrown in the towel, but didn't .. RESPECT!

3rd race: Back to my Enzo & again I thought for sure he was gonna bring that pesky MAC, but nope!.. he breaks out the FXX!.. yikes!.. & for whatever reason I just couldn't get into a groove.. drove like poop, and more than anything he just smoked me once again.. but yanno, it's all good, that's what real racing is all about, can't always come in 1st.. & needless to say the adrenaline racing online compared to offline isn't even close..

Hats off to @Chikane_GTR .. good races last night braddah'.. was gonna do this writeup last night, but I had slightly bad taste in my mouth.. had Listerine for dinner then went to bed.. LoL... til' we meet again, and you know it's gonna be soon!

Done 12 laps around RBR and improved a bit. Best lap was 0.5s better than previous 1:20.7xx improvement in this session, but lost nearly everything in the last corner, ended up improving from 1:21.024 to 1:20:588 (optimal 1:19.632)

BH lap count : 12

RBR lap count : 36

DW 4* gave ANOTHER Ferrari invite, switched off the console to keep for next update (that's two invites pending)

On the Plus account, I sent the Mitsubishi Lancer Gr.3 to Sardegna. It won't quite do 6 laps on fuel, and 10 laps on tires is sketchy (I spun them in the tight left-hander in the second sector on laps 8 and 9), but as long as Fraga is merely human, it will do as it will do mid-1:43 laps. The 26:59 1-tire-change run was good enough for the full measure of credits because Fraga was human enough to finish 4th.

The all-cash 4-star Wheel of Despair did what Wheels of Despair usually do - puke out the lowest-showing/lowest possible 10,000 Cr. At least it wasn't a 3-star.

On the GTP account, I took the Renault R.S.01 (non-GT3 version) out to Sardegna to get the rust off it. The second 3-star Wheel of Despair of the month (of 3) on this account (and of 6 on both accounts) puked out a semi-racing muffler (insert sad_trombone.gif). Still, I had enough to get the McLaren 650S and begin getting the remaining Gr.4 cars with the only real one remaining, the Renault Megane Trophy.

Well the first half of the day I spent assembling my cockpit and I definitely need a bracket to mount the seat I bought so I ordered one and will have to wait for that arrive. I’ll probably give it a try using a plain wooden chair tomorrow but it’s going to be too uncomfortable for long sessions, so I’ll be on the controller for a bit longer.

I bought another F1 GTR and gave it a classic Sunoco livery I downloaded. I want to get one more before it sells out so I did some grinding. Took the F1 GTR ‘97 to Sardegna and then Spa, the Viper GT3-R to Sardegna, the Viper GTS ‘02 to LM, the 650S to LM, and finally the 787b to Sardegna. I managed to finish Sardegna in under 24 minutes for the very first time! I was able to get to over 7 million credits so getting another F1 GTR shouldn’t be an issue.

1. Bought a McLaren F1 GTR Race Car 😍 (only one because I'm not a billionaire like our friends....)

2. Visited some friends in Spa for credits reasons

3. ⭐⭐⭐ : Cr. 10.000 :boggled:

4. No motivation for TT, so I've decided to turn off the PS5

As I now have a 3rd account (for sport mode dailies), decided to redo the menu books - mainly just to clear all the clutter and notifications from the map screen. On hard difficulty this time round.

For the WTC 700 and WTC 800 championships at the end, decided for this go to follow the game advice (and GT tradition) by tuning up a car rather than just buying a ready-made Gr4/Gr3 racer. I was inspired by the Nascar entry at Le Mans so created my own Camaro GT4 in full Garage 56 / Hendricks livery. Handles surprisingly well.

Now need to finish off a Maserati GT3 for the other championship, as it seems wrong that they are missing a race car in this game.

Testing the theory "you are more likely to get a specific brand invite if you use a car from that brand".
Did the dailly ticket with pagani zonda. Even did it on Monza wtc 800.
Its not working 😭
Patience my friend.

When I was doing my all Ferrari race to get my daily ticket it didn't work right away but it did at the end.

Your patience will be rewarded.:)

Did the rest of the Gr.1 races in the Valkyrie, the only ones I couldn't beat was Suzuka and Fuji due to the tracks being too twisty and with the car having tires that wear out very quickly I lost a bunch of time in those sections. The other tracks have a few good straight sections so I was able to quickly pass alot of the slower cars with ease and further increase the gap from the leaders once I got far enough.

The tires go out very quickly in this car even the RH ones at about the same rate.

I did these on easy but the fact that I was able to beat a few of them, the Grand Valley in particular but couldn't beat it in my tuned CLK-LM shows how capable the car is.
If we ever get the Valkyrie AMR Pro it will probably be very OP as the Valkyrie is pretty much in a weird spot between Gr.2 and the lower end Gr.1 cars when stock, but when given racing tires and a Turbo along with slightly better gear ratios it's faster than almost all of the Gr.1 cars minus the top VGTs like the McLaren as that one and the L750 I think were the only 2 I couldn't pass in time at Suzuka due to having to pit earlier.
It's main issues are the non-adjustable downforce and the tire wear, due to the car being so fast and having constant DRS/Overtake using fuel modes 6-4 are good enough for it to win a majority of races but as mentioned it's majorly dampened by the tire wear more than anything else.
I imagine a better driver could probably pass the 2 tracks I couldn't win in the car as the best I could manage was 3rd place with about a 3-5 second difference behind the leaders.
