Took the XJR 9-88 to Lemans and did few laps in order to find the best set up .
Then i race once with her and thats all.
Times at race are slower than what you alone in the track.
Don't know exactly why ,its track conditions? tyre wear or something else ?
The only thing am sure is at the race as the full drops the car goes a bit faster each lap .
Other than that , a second 3* arrived this week 😡

So I ended up forgetting to post my birthday car on the 5th. Just to busy racing with the Geezers.

In GT7

Now here is the (your choice on how to express your feelings). I booted Sport up today to grab a old tune for tonight, only to get this:

Boy I wish we could just transfer our previous stuff into GT7 like PD let us do before. This starting a whole new life every game when the game is this involved, kind of a drag. 😔

Post my one Daily Race in Sport just because I have never done Sport race in Sport, I ran two daily races in GT7. A way to get a handle on how my new Ford GT LM works. Then time spent with the Geezers.

So my new wheel adventures continue and I’ve hit a milestone: I can grind with the wheel, so everything is right with my GT7 world. My lap times are way slower still and I’m still struggling with countersteering resulting in rather frequent spin outs but I can win on Easy at Sardegna with 1-stop cars and I’m too afraid to try 2-stop cars yet but I’ll get there. I don’t think I’m doing bad for day 2 though. I had a rainy mess of a run at Le Mans in the ‘02 Viper GTS where I should have pitted for wet tires at the end of lap 2 but thankfully neither did the AI and after crawling to the pit on slicks in the very wet and somehow avoiding overtaking on any of several yellow flags I was able to win first place with the CRB on Easy LMAO! I bought a Mustang Mach 1 for the engine swap and another Diablo GT that I plan on maxing out later. I got a 4-star ticket worth 500k which was also nice.

I took my swapped MR2 to LeMans got a sprinkle of rain but since I was only getting 3 laps I had to do 2 stops but so did the AI so I was able to win easily. Next I took the Valkyrie to the Glen in the WTC 800. It was an interesting race I hit the barrier head twice each time coming out of a pause to adjust the screen 😂 But since I was able to do a no stop race I was able to win. The last four laps were done on essentially bald tires and I had to do one more lap I would have had to pit to get new tires. Got 5k from a 3*

I have re-entered the club of 31 lap finishers on Human Comedy Lake Maggiore

1. Banked my Cr. 250.000 from Red Bull Racing TT 🥉

2. Tested the new TT Lake Maggiore with differents cars and finally, felt comfortable with the Mazda Concept. Close to gold with a decent 0:52.495. The yellow medal should be doable if the aliens are on holidays.
#KeepPushing

3. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ : parts for the Porsche 918 Spyder (worth Cr. 500.000)

So far, did some time trials. Got a Bugatti invite so got that car. Did prep to my Civic for the race tonight. Hopefully a 1:28 to 1:31 at Tokyo central will keep me with the pack. I truly hate them walls!

So that^ went to 💩! My wheel and game desired for me to skip my fuel stop. I just jumped out at that point. 😮‍💨 I was already a full lap behind the whole field anyway. No need to be anymore in the way.

This after spending a whole hour putting a block of wood under my wheel to level it out.

Jumped in to a friend's room and ran pre 90s cars at 580pp to calm down.

That takes us to now.

Yeah I completly agree, hate these walls too, I'm clostrophobic...

Won the Menù extra cafè 42 Proto GR.1 with a 2nd place in Suzuka, hard but funny with the mazda LM55
Started another menu extra the Hypercar Parade using a LaFerrari, not easy to handle but definitely rewarding
A bunch of races in sport mode

Cashed out my prize for the RBR TT and working on my collection currently at 311. Bought all the Fords, Dodge and Chevrolets from Brand Central, sold everything that I know I won't drive and have no interest in keeping....and that was all I had time for today.

On the Plus account, I took the Hyundai Genesis Gr.3 to Sardegna. It is a bad mix of low power, inherent understeer on-throttle oversteer, and questionable tire wear. Its only plus side is that it will almost do 6 laps on fuel. I did manage some 1:43 laps though, and a combination of Fraga being caught in traffic early and him needing a third stop late allowed me to win a no-tire-change race in 26:59.

The 4-star Wheel of Despair gave the low-showing 30,000 Cr. It's the same old thing as yesterday.

On the GTP account, I collected my 250,000 Cr. for getting bronze at the Red Bull online time trial, then ran a rented mule (the Porsche 911 RSR) around the short Lake Maggiore circuit for a solid silver time. After that, I took the freshly-acquired Citroen GT Gr.3 around Sardegna for the credits...after remembering to turn the fuel map down to 3 to get 5 laps out of the car.

Incredibly, I didn't get yet another 3-star Wheel of Despair. The 4-star flipped out yet another Dodge Charger safety car, which got flipped for 53,440 Cr. I picked up the Ford Mustang Gr.3 and the Hyundai Genesis Gr.B to hit 390 unique cars (including the two 25th-anniversary cars, the stealth Mazda RX-Vision, and the Dior Mangusta).

Online I’ve almost exclusively done daily races and time trials. What’s the best quick way to find good online lobbies to race in? How many of them require voice chat?

I pick the peujot gr3 to do some test laps at RBR mission, how it goes, fuel consumption, etc.
Finally end up from a test to win the race thanks to the advices that the guys give me in the human comedy thread .
So was an interesting late noon ,clear one more mission and got the first 4* of the week.

My projector lamp has decided it has finished up it's useful life so everything looked washed out and very bright. So I I took the Valkyrie to Route X to do the mileage. I did one lap there then I went to Laguna Seca for some more hot laps with the Valkyrie. I think I have became a graphics snob because the only thing I could focus on was how bad the game looked. Got a 6* ticket and got excited only for it to be a parts ticket got got the Carbon fiber brakes for a Mustang Shelby GTR 16 which I had already sold.

1st, Fuji with the "Rexy" 911 RSR. Rain was prevalent for almost the entire race, but that thing handles pretty well.

And then, 2 races with my Lamborghini Murciélago.

Spent my first proper sessions with my birthday present, the Fanatec GT DD Pro (5NM) after attaching it to my Playseat Challenge. The playseat is a bit wimpy and it is holding up for now but I see a better rig in my future..

This thing is nice! I ordered different pedals (the Elite V2) but I have to say I am mightily impressed with the stock pedals that come with this. The braking and gas are very controllable.

Still playing around with the settings but I think I am back to as fast as I was before (on my G29) but I am much more controllable now. Looking forward to learning the feedback more so I can push harder and gain time!

On the Plus account, I finished up the Gr.4 retest at Sarthe with the Mazda Atenza. Its only selling point is getting 4.5 laps on a tank of fuel - otherwise, it understeers horribly (so much so that I doubted my decision to not take tires on lap 4) and can't crack 4:27 without massive drafting help. I didn't have that, but I had just enough to hold off McEwen in a dry race. That makes 3 cars that shouldn't be able to win at Sarthe on normal difficulty - the Audi TT Cup (which didn't win), the BMW M4 (which won because of weather) and the Alfa Romeo 4C (which won because of a clean dive-bomb).

For the third day in a row, the 4-star marathon ticket gave the low-showing 30,000 Cr. Surprisingly, that's the 5th time this month of 13 I got that prize on this account, more than the three 3-stars (all for 10,000 Cr.) so far. I could have emptied the bank account to get the Jaguar XJ13, but the Chevrolet Corvette concept is due soon, and that's the cheapest car I don't already have.

On the Plus account, I toured Sarthe in the Renault Megane Trophy. I don't understand why PD also included the FF fake Megane Gr.4 - the real race car is so much better.

The cashless/carless 4-star Wheel of Despair gave me a crankshaft for the Nissan GT-R Safety Car. At least it wasn't the invite. I used the cash to get the Honda NSX Gr.3 and the Mitsubishi Lancer Gr.B.

Using the Zonda, ran Sardegna and LeMans once each. At LeMans, I dozed off approaching the pits on lap 5, bounced off the wall, which put me back on the track past pit lane. I had to make the 6th lap with 4/10ths of a tank of fuel. I had over a minute lead, so I went into drastic fuel-saving mode. I made it back to the pits for fuel and ran the 7th lap, winning by over 30 seconds.

At Sardegna, it was a two-stopper. No sweat. Got 10k from the wheel.

I did quite a bit of grinding with the new wheel in VR which seems to get easier and easier each day. I’m still not nearly as quick and much less consistent than I was with the controller but I’ve had quite a bit more practice with the controller so I’m doing better than I had initially expected. I can finally conserve tire wear by driving a certain way which is something I found impossible to do with the controller but very intuitive with the FFB. One of my biggest concerns was using my feet, especially left foot braking, but using the pedals it came with is working great and I’m managing TCS 0 fairly well so far. I miss the haptic feedback from the gas and brake with the controller but the wheel feedback more than makes up for that.

I bought the XJ13 because I couldn’t resist the low mileage and I’m now at 979,000 collector points. So close to a million. I got a 6-star engine ticket that gave me a Corvette C7 engine. Not sure if I have every swap with that engine or not but it’s whatever.

Run 3 of the 580 historic races with my Roadster for fun. Got 30k from a 4* for that. Painted my Valerie. Just so happens I will need that Monday. Ran Mini Coopers with DHR. That was a hoot. I spent a lot of time on two or less wheels 🤣 (pis to comel). Last bought a second '90 RX7 for the swap. Now, just figuring out what car for the Saturday morning race with the Geezers.

Didn't get much time to play last night so I just bought a F40 then spent 15 minutes trying to fight what color to paint it and finally settled on Ocellus Teal. Spent a few minutes reading through Ferrari's history. That has always been one of the things I really like about GT is the car history
