Clean Race Challenge
Speaking of clean races, I tried the Spa WTC 800 in the La Ferrari last night and for the first time ever I got a penalty for 'ignoring yellow flags'...

Technically I didn't ignore them, the brakes on my La Ferrari did... there was a spinner just after La Source and the yellows came out when I was just crossing the finish line... but despite slamming on the brakes, I careered past at least two cars, and didn't stop until I had almost hit the barrier. I came back on to the track back in 20th place, but not only did I receive a whopping 6 second penalty for it, I also would have lost the Clean Race Bonus had I bothered to finish the race, which I didn't. Suffice it to say that the La Ferrari is not a great car for this event... :ill:

I took the Stealth RX 7 to LeMans but it seemed sluggish so I quit and added a medium rpm turbo. Started again and I had a ad wrek on lap 1 where I hit the wall coming out of the 2nd chicane on the Mulsanne. He the wall so hardI wrecked the transmission I believe. So I fell to 20th and then when the rain came I switched to inters and of course no rain so the inters wore after 1 lap. So I quit cause I didn't fee like it was worth it. Redid the race and surprise no crash. Got 500k from a 5* ticket. I feel like the game felt bad for me and gave me a bone for that bad wreck. If that will get me more rewards like that I need to wre my car more often 🤣

@kjb ....Nice!

Restarts definitely do have their time and place, and heck for 500K that was definitely the time and place.. good work..

Won the Daytona race in the Cafè Extra Menù 42 Prototypes Races Gr.A with the Mazda LM550 just bought from the dealer for 1mil, love that car, it almost handles better than the McLaren VGT.
Did 4 races B Sardegna Sport Mode

The bracket to mount the racing seat on my stand finally arrived yesterday and assembling it proved to be quite a challenge as the directions for the bracket were not only not included but the online instructions were impossible to open on a phone so I had to use a desktop PC in a different room and the directions for the “Universal Bracket” were only for very specific seats. I also discovered that the brand of seat I purchased also didn’t have instructions but there is no website for “TK Racing” and thus no instructions for that seat. I was totally stuck and about to return the seat and my dad looked at it and had the idea to mount the bracket upside down and it actually worked! I was frustrated enough that I didn’t care to get the monitor and Playstation setup and just played GT7 with the controller. Mostly I just need to update the firmware on the Fanatec GT DD Pro but my newer laptop is a Mac so I probably have to dig out my old PC just for that. So far the wheel has been pure headaches and very expensive headaches at that, hopefully when I get the chance to actually use it then it will finally seem worth it. Picture of my rig attached.

I bought another Nismo R32 and did the swap, tuned it and ran it at Le Mans then did the same thing with the 911 RS (993). Then I took the Peugeot 908 HDi to Sardegna and tried adding ballast and power which hurt the fuel economy so I couldn’t run FM1. After the first round I tried adding the bigger turbo and used the restrictor to make the peak power at a lower RPM so I could short-shift and get a lot more torque but my race time was exactly the same (24:45) so I will have to try something different next time. Last I bought the black Boss 429 and another R32 GT-R that I might do the R92CP swap later.

Got a 4-star ticket that gave me a Citroen invitation which I actually wanted since I only have one of the GT Road cars and would like another to tune and keep one stock.

Well. Mostly I was taking hits at Grand Valley. But I also created couple of liveries too. And I also noticed that mornings are dirty and evenings are much cleaner online.

Today I had one of my super spending day 100M on cars.

I bought.
2 Aston Martin Vulcan - to have every color
5 Aston Martin One-77 - to have every color
3 Porsche Carrera GT - to have every color
24 Bugatti Veyrons - still missing 4 colors.
3 Jaguar XJ9 - to start my all group c grid.
3 More Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak.

Down to 89K credits.
Now time to relax and start my credit grind back.:)

On the Plus account, it was the elderly Nissan GT-R GT500's turn at Sardegna. Fortunately, Fraga was human. The old GT-R GT500 won't do better than 1:44 except in traffic or on an empty tank, but with the tiniest bit of fuel saving, it will do 6 laps on fuel and 15 on tires. The 27:04 was only good for a 10.8-second win over Portilla.

The third 3-star Wheel of Despair of 10 this month and the 60th of 161 this year on the Plus account (and the 7th of 19 between the two accounts, pending the GTP run) didn't push out cash, but the Renault Megane safety car. I hung onto it for now.

On the GTP account, I went a bit more modern with the GT500 at Sardegna, using the 2008 Honda NSX. The 5th 3-star Wheel of Despair of 10 this month on this account, and 8th of 20 between the 2 accounts (insert "Aw geez, not this **** again" gif) puked out a camshaft for the 2021 BRZ. Still, I was able to buy the older Lamborghini Aventador, the last car below the 450,000-Cr. Gr.3/Gr.B logjam (32, plus the newer AMG GT3).

Today ??.. well let's see, ran the Porsche Spyder X2 @ TM/HCP, 2nd place car :30 ticks behind.. but it was a nice break considering this entire past week has been nothing but fooling around with my Italian rides in the garage.. every race at TM/HCP.. now, i'm just your avg. driver.. PS4/DS style, no need to acquire everything in sight.. I only believe in quality well over quantity & doing everything I can to gain that CRB.. I mean I absolutely hate losing a CRB due to a minor scuff.. smh.. I really wish they'd fix it, so annoying..

Now, that being said, here are some of the results from this past week via "The Garage".. I'll just use my past 10 cars as an example.. again, i'm not perfect, but I did this WITHOUT my Enzo!

(My Rules: bring in a car, lose the CRB try again, lose twice, onto the next car..)

1). Porsche Spyder X2: no CRB's.. each race, minor scuff.. don't ask, I don't even know..

2). Ferrari La'Ferrari X2: again, no CRB's, went back and watched the replays.. sometimes I just don't understand..

3). Ferrari Tributo X1: CRB

4). Lamborghini Aventador X1: CRB

5). Lamborghini Murcielago X1: CRB

6). Ferrari 458 Italia X2: 1 CRB, 1 no CRB

7). Ferrari FXX X2: both CRB's.. yeah yeah, I know, but I couldn't believe how fast she was.. had to do it twice..

8). Lamborghini Veneno X1: CRB

9). Lamborghini Diablo X1: CRB

10). Ferrari F-50 X2: 1 CRB, 1 no CRB

(avg beating time, eh, somewhere around 20-25 seconds)

.. had to open "The Garage" for a bit , sometimes I get so stuck on my Enzo that I forget what I have.. and again, while not perfect, it was still fun..

Ticks me off with the La'Ferrai tho.. I ran 2 clean races in a row and was just sick that I had no CRB for the effort.. but whatever, it is what it is, lessons learned!

One of these days i'm gonna have to get out and see the world of tracks, but ya know, there's just something about being content, easy money knowing your track, yeah, I dig it.. Goodnight Gentlemen!

Just did two runs at Lemans with 787 trying different settings in each race to find out which one was faster .
A 3* star pop up and probably at the end of the week ill get the huge amount of .....5k.
Due to extreme heat the following days i don't see me more than one hour max daily at the game ,also i don't want to " roast " my ps5 .
Haven't buy something recently from LCD and i was thinking to buy my first 20 million car starting with gto .
Don't know if ill do it yet or leave it for the winter long nights which griding is much easier.

Irelevant
If someone have an idea (recently )about what to use for the red bull racing at human comedy,a pm will be useful.

Finished the cafe menu and finally could run at Le Mans^^
By the way, how do you managed to have so many credit, I basically "finished" the carreer mod in race and I barely have 12millions... XD

So my first night actually using the wheel and… well there’s going to be a serious learning curve ahead of me. It was a struggle to get a clean lap without majorly spinning out even with slow cars like the Barker Tourer and B. A. T. 1. Counter Steering is basically a mystery to me at this point. With the controller I could catch slides and spins all day but the wheel goes nuts when I start sliding and I overcorrect and I’ve spun out, lost my grip on the shift paddles and the wheel ends up upside down and I’m upshofting instead of reverse because I can’t see the wheel in VR. If I get the hang of it then it’ll be awesome but until then I will struggle. Probably wouldn’t hurt to use some assists now that I think about it, I left them all off LMAO! Got a 3-star ticket worth 10k.

this is absolutely sensational work tbh. i was reading through the list slowly, then went back when i realised the number at the started was the quantity! i was going through thinking, yep, yep, yep then i saw 24 Bugatti's and just started laughing, that is amazing work, well done.

Yeah, there're oftenly yellow flags in Spa due to the "Belgium weather" and I also had some penalties there for the same reasons (you just can't brake when the crash happen just in front of your car).

I made some changes to the MR-Two to make the livery more complete (some sponsors were missing and the rear didn’t look great). Then took it to Le Mans for some test runs to adjust the suspension and gearbox. Easily my favourite car now :)

Today.

After my spending spree I drove some of my new cars then I hit Tokyo I take no breaks and grinded my credits back to 10M in no time.

The first 10M credits is always the easiest.:)
Which is this? I need dollar. I never have much any tbh, and spent a lot of time online recently which doesn't pay. Just splashed out on the Valkyrie and Gr.4/ Gr.3 Ferrari's. I literally have 1m credits left

So I ended up forgetting to post my birthday car on the 5th. Just to busy racing with the Geezers.

In GT7

Now here is the (your choice on how to express your feelings). I booted Sport up today to grab a old tune for tonight, only to get this:

🤨

Boy I wish we could just transfer our previous stuff into GT7 like PD let us do before. This starting a whole new life every game when the game is this involved, kind of a drag. 😔

I took my original 787b to Sardegna. Got an s part for the 2014 Jag I don't have but at least I was planning on buying one just haven't gotten to it yet. Then I finished maxing out my swapped MR2 and I took it to LeMans for a fuel economy test it was about 3 laps so I switched to my non swapped MR2 to see what the difference between the 2 would be. The non swapped MR2 got better fuel mileage but of course acceleration is not as good as the swapped MR2. I think I might switch to a low rpm turbo on the std MR2 as I used the med rpm turbo to help with the acceleration.

Won the Santa Croce Race on the menù extra 42 Prototypes GR.A with the Mazda LM550...pretty long race with a great car, next will be Suzuka to finish the menù and it's a track that I don't particularly love.
Raced B Sardegna Sport Mode and did some time trials

On the GTP account, I dusted off the Gr.4-killer Ford Focus RS for a very-wet race at Sarthe. The SIXTH 3-star Wheel of Despair of eleven this month on this account (and pending the Plus run, 9 of 21) dropped a BMW M2, which I hung onto for now. I started alternating between the not-quite-real Gr.3 and Gr.B cars, grabbing the Citroen GT Gr.3 and Ford Mustang Gr.B.

On the Plus account, it was the Alfa Romeo 4C Gr.4's turn at Sarthe, the 2nd-last Gr.4 car to retest there. I don't know how I got by Portilla in the Ford Chicane on lap 7 for the win - the best the Alfa will do is 4:25, and it barely makes it 4 laps on fuel. The slightly better handling is more than wiped out by the lack of power.

At least I didn't get yet another 3-star Wheel of Despair. The 4-star gave the low-showing 30,000 Cr.

Great job with the stock Alfa. The swapped Alfa is a great car.

Put in some miles at RBR TT trying to get gold which I'm happy to say was a success today. I got down to 1.18.1xx which should be good for gold assuming the times won't drop anymore. Collected a nitro kit for the 04 STI from a 3 star wheel.
