Le Mans run was somewhat uneventful weather-wise. Running in the Alpine A220, starting on RH. What an absolute joy to drive that car, pleasantly surprised. My only complaint with the car would be that in VR, the rear view mirror is awkwardly placed and there are no side mirrors. Seeing around this car any way other than forward is challenging.

A large light blue swathe of rain appeared on the radar around the end of Lap 2, this was unable to dampen the track to any significant degree. Then around Lap 4, some more light blue was showing up on the radar, some darker blue mixed in but wasn't very dense. Ultimately, it was a dry race and didn't require a tire change.

Finished with a very economical 30:34s time well ahead of the field. Easy win.

@Pesselles
I received an AM invite today from my 4* ticket. That makes 2 that I have now, let me know if you get a Lamborghini or Bugatti invite and we can trade!

My son is doing his GTWC Sprint race again. Monza today, two races like usually.

Already banged out the Grasser Lambo and an AF Corse Ferrari...

Any son made his own livery for the old Jeep from second world war and then he did some scapes. As I like Sky Tempesta McLaren, he did that for me and wanted to upload it online and here here too. So I fulfill his wish. Remember it's a nine year old kid, I like that he is doing so much different stuff.

Now game time is over and we go outside to play football.

I swapped the engine in a C3 I forgot about and took it to LeMans. It started raining on lap 2 so I switched to wets which was a mistake because the rain wasn't hard at all so I had to pit the next lap to switch back to hards. After lap 3 no more rain. Pitted once more because fuel issues. Took the Valkyrie to Sardegna did 10 laps on FM4 then switched to FM1 and started crashing every lap 🤣. Sometimes after I switch FM1 I tend to get a little sloppy and don't race as well. Got another Bugatti invite from a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🎫. I think I will buy a couple more Bugattis. Since I'm not a billionaire yet like @Chikane_GTR so I can't afford to buy them in all colors.😁

Boy, do I know how to pick'em or what? On the Plus account, I took McLaren, who finished 11th, and on the GTP account, I took AMG, who finished 12th.

As it was Sarthe day, the bad luck didn't extend to the racing, but did extend to the Wheels of Despair. On the GTP account, a run with Old Reliable, a modestly-tuned Ford Focus RS, yielded the 2nd 3-star Wheel of Despair of 10 for the monthon this account, and the lowest-possible 5,000 Cr. The redemption run with the Volkswagen GTI VGT Gr.3 (which requires FM 3 to make it 3 laps) also yielded a 3-star Wheel of Despair (the 4th of 10 for the month), though this one wasn't quite a despair as I picked up a Bugatti Veyron Gr.4, which I hung onto.

At least I had enough to get the absolute last Gr.3 car on the GTP account, the more-expensive of the two fake Ford GTs, to knock the cost of the remaining 50 cars to under 60,000,000 Cr.

I’ve mostly been maxing out the fastest road cars from each brand with all available upgrades including the S-parts, racing soft tires, wide body, and all aero parts set to maximum. Then I adapt whatever Praiano tune is available for each car and run them at Sardegna detuned to 800pp before running full power at the Hypercar Parade events. Let’s just say some of those races at Sardegna required quite a bit of short shifting for the thirstier road cars with 800+ hp, but I was pleasantly surprised with most cars’ performance at maximum power and at FM6 as well.

I really like the GT-R Nismo, AMG GT Black Series, Aston Martin One-77, Honda NSX, Viper GTS ‘13, and both Ford GT’s at max power. The F50 needed a few suspension adjustments to be drivable but I got lucky by removing the rake and softening the rear springs and voila! I wish the Supra ‘20 had more power but 800 is still good, just seems low compared to the NSX (930hp) and GT-R Nismo (1045hp). I found the C8 Corvette to be harder to handle than I’d like but I imagine some suspension adjustments can smooth things out, the trouble is figuring out which adjustments to make since I’m not very good at tuning myself.

Did couple of races at La Sarthe with new car i bought( lexus vgt ) and then 3 small ones to " round " my credits at 100 millions again .
Its a period that am buying vgt cars ( don't ask me why , i really don't know 🥴 ) but are so many of them that i don't know what to choose.
Still need 7 cars to reach the 300 number and i think will be all some from the vgt's that i don't have.
At least i use them even once to see how they go , not like LCD that the majority of them are "collecting ' dust .
If someone had a proposal,am all ears.
Till some of LCD crazy price cars start their circle again its a good opportunity to buy some of the vgt's with non forbidden price .
Also am open to proposals for other cars that are at the same price tag or higher in order to use them .

I know Daniel will start again his comments about my credits but am far away from the original "Billionaire" we have.
Perhaps if i was from Crete ,my nickname could be Billionair-akis 😂 .
Am waiting your proposals .

Today I got a nice Jeep Willys MB '45! One of my favorite Jeep along with the CJ5 Renegade and Gladiator😸

Edit: Accidentally wrote ''Gladia'' instead of Gladiator, fixed it. Oops!

Thats not fair, i want about 120 millions only for 6 cars and i don't know how many for the rest 155 not counting the new ones that will appear till get them.
Any ideas what to get today ? 😂
How could I help a billionnaire to be more rich?

I "only" need 136 millions for the 12 remaining cars to complete my collection :)

-Drove my fully-tuned engine-swapped Mustang GT350R around the Nurburgring again.
-Engine swapped my '65 Shelby GT350, modified it a bit and took it to Watkins Glen.
-Engine swapped my blue Corvette C4 ZR-1, fully modified it and took it to Sainte Croix B... For one lap. Ugh that track is just disgusting. I then went over to Sardegna A because it's soo much better.
-Drove the NSX GT500 '08 around Tsukuba and beat all my previous lap times set in other cars.
-Drove the Aston Martin DB5 around Deep Forest.

Le Mans run today didn't go very well. Today, driving the Alpine Vision GT, I was expecting a simple and straight forward drive, but weather ruined my race.

@smoothbore12
Weather radar showed light rain approaching at the end of Lap 2, never got more than light blue. Hit the track at Lap 3 and lasted through Lap 4. Not enough to significantly wet the track. I'd pit at Lap 4 for fuel only, keeping the RH tires, P1 and things were looking good.

At the start of Lap 5 the wind direction appeared to have shifted (before weather was moving left to right, now it was moving bottom to top. Based on the direction of the weather radar, I don't know if top is North). This brought in heavier rains that would hit the track at the end of Lap 5. I had a mess of things at the Porsche Curves, trying to wean myself off aids, I've started using TC0 for this race, and spun a couple times losing 2 places before making it to the pits for IM tires. The rain lasted about half way through Lap 6 and the track began to dry.

I wouldn't recover the two places lost and finished 8 seconds behind Portilla's Viper. P3 was worth a little over 300k Credits with the CRB, but my Daily Workout 4* ticket would result in 500k Credits. So, I guess it's a wash.

Ran the Shelby Cobra at Le Mans 700, with racing brakes, a semi racing exhaust, racing transmission and racing suspension on racing hards, it's probably because I have it on racing hards but the car handles much better than I thought it would, i've been avoiding it all this time due to the classic muscle cars being some of the worst handling cars in the game, though I think the Shelby Cobra is considered moreso a sports car than a muscle car. It did spin out when very heavy rain appeared but besides that it's a extremely solid car.

1. Improved some PB on some National A licence tests.

To be very honest, it's not only improving, it's more like seriously trying to get as close as possible of Mr Devil @Evilmuffin demoniac scores and if all the planets are correctly aligned, scoring a faster time than him! Most of the time, I'm behind, very rarely a bit ahead.
I won nothing except learning, experience and satisfaction to improve my skills while challenging an (exceptional) driver!

2. ⭐⭐⭐ : Cr. 5.000 ... :irked:

Earlier this morning I took the Audi QuarttoSport to LeMans. That thing drives like a rally car 🤣. So I adjusted the 4wd system to 50/50 and tried to remember when it slides don't overcorrect. Rain came about lap 3 but I was able to go a couple of laps in the rain because I turned TC to 5 and with the 4wd already at 50/50 it was not a problem. Got 10k from a ⭐⭐⭐ 🎟️. I started the new HSR event but I didn't finish so I will probably try again later.

I was a bit too busy to set a time for the Viper time trial, so I did some laps with the Mazda LM55 VGT at High Speed Ring, and I think I'm now only about two tenths off the gold threshold, so that's neat. I also bought some cars from the LCD, namely the red Corvette C1 and the first-gen Camaro. I already have one of the latter, but I wanted to have two, so I could modify one with its stock engine and the other with its alternative engine. I also made a livery for the Abarth 595 that I already swapped a K20 into, if only to make it look different than the one that I plan to modify with its stock engine.

Oh, and I got a three-star ticket that only netted me about 5k credits, but I really don't care. Plus, I claimed my free Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 from the movie tie-in.

EDIT: I think I'm also going to be 0/2 when it comes to the bets I placed for the Amsterdam event, as I recall picking Subaru and Brazil.

EDIT2: I also was taking a look at my potential winnings for the TGR Cup, and if I keep my current position, it'll likely be 3.6m, which is fine, but hopefully I'll be able to get a better score in the final round so I can get even more credits.

Lost twice at Spa. The first time was a failed experiment with a Gr4 Silvia, I was bumper to bumper with P1 at the end. Second time I was just cruising when on Lap 20 the AI played pinball with my Trans Am. That's the worst finish I've had in a long time at any race on any difficulty, and the Trans Am is fast enough to win that race without even trying. It's also fairly good on gas... if you drive it like they do around here. If you constantly red line it, you'll pass everything but a gas station.
After that I purchased the last of the engine swaps, then cleaned out my garage of cars and random parts I didn't need. I used up everything except some S parts for the Mono and three engines.

Last time out I won the Human Comedy at Red Bull Ring with the RX-Vision. I'm slow, so the only way I can figure I won is the AI didn't see me passing them since the car is Stealth and all.

Nothing spectacular... I'm just redownloading the game again. After my PS4 crashed back in april. Haven't been active around here lately, but GT6 is getting boring now that I've got all the cars.

So what did I do in GT7 today exactly? Nothing yet.

Once again, I chose poorly in the contest. I didn't even get a choice off on the GTP account (I was looking at the French), but at least the Brazilians finished very poorly.

On the Plus account, I really struggled with the elderly Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette at Sardegna, finishing 5th in 27:43 (and that was only thanks to Portilla making a 4th pit stop). I had only two sub-1:46 laps at the end, including a 1:44.9 to finish the race. The only good things I can say about the car are that it doesn't require fuel saving to make it 5 laps, and it doesn't require a tire change.

Before buying rain tires and trying to redeem the slowpoke, I took my third consecutive 3-star Wheel of Despair (5th of 11 for the month on this account, and pending the GTP run, 7th of 21 for the month), for the low-showing 10,000 Cr. Fuel proved to be a concern, but the slower pace enforced by rain on lap 3 allowed me to make that run 3 laps on fuel. Speaking of rain, the Silhouette doesn't do well in it - with the track just under 2/3rds wet, I kept on spinning the tires in both 2nd and 3rd. It also is relatively slow - my fast lap was only 4:10.8.

On the GTP account, I ground the white fake Ford GT LM around Sardegna and a Ford Focus Gr.B around Sarthe for the credits and a 4-star Wheel of Despair worth the lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. I started my 1,000,000-Cr. collection with the semi-real Honda 2&4 and the very-real 2008 Nissan GT-R GT500.

As the Jaguar D-type made it back into Hagerty's, I went back to the Plus account to buy it. That leaves 11 cars worth, at the moment, 133,050,000 Cr. on that account.

The latest " tendency" of mine to buy and test some VGT cars lately, lead to discover the biggest " crap " so far !!!
Am talking about Subaru VGT .
Its not only that need fuel saving to do just two laps 😵‍💫 but worst than that, when battery " dies " after two laps is so slow that win is under a serious threat and am talking about " easy " level.
Happens to have and a bone dry race at La Sarthe that lead to 7 laps ,3 pitstops, pass the 32 minutes barrier and win by less than 20 seconds .
At least at pre 1.31 period that i was using the nissan gt 500 ,was on intermediate tyres ,FM6 and no pitstop needed.
The Subaru VGT at FM1 was moving slower and couldn't cover any ground over the AI at any track part.

That EV add perhaps means Evil than anything else.
Anyway ,if it was about King of crap ,that VGT wins hands down so far .
EV ...my A$$ .

1. Le Mans today was again with the Alpine Vision GT. A better result from yesterday mostly accounting for moderate rain coming during my pit window.

@smoothbore12
Light rain was showing up on the radar at the end of Lap 2, and would continue into Lap 3 with dark blue spots showing up at the end of Lap 3. Luckily this time I was able to more or less control the car and only spin once but I recovered from the spin well but I would end up incurring a massive 29 second penalty while off track. That was the hardest penalty to sit through. The blue spots of rain would end beginning Lap 5 and start trying toward the end. Thankfully, due to AI pitting again I came away with a win, gap to P2 was over 30 seconds.

2. Three Star Daily Workout Ticket - 10k Credits. All is balanced again in my GT World.

3. Watched some of the live stream. I had chose France to win the Nations Cup. @Pesselles your fellow countrymen looked like a good line up and walked away with the qualifier win for pole (even in the Manu cup, for BMW pole was a Frenchman), but ultimately when the race came Spain came away with the win. It was Serrano's weekend, clearly.

4. Trying some new tests at the Fuji Super Formula race. Had a bad result today caused by a bad spin in the last sector, P17, but my best is P2.
