1. Morning session at Red Bull Racing TT with Godzilla. Nicely improved my PB at 1:30.715 with an optimal at 1:30.500 !! Still in silver but I love the smell of gold in the morning...
#KeepPushing

2. Saw many notifications about @djolliea improvements on many licence tests. Seems I woke up the big boys... :dopey:

3. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ : Cr. 10.000 :yuck:

Just happens to race with the same car @GlockPants .
I bought the last one yesterday.
So you had LR and R.
LR = light rain
R = rain .
(LR) - light blue/light rain not enough to need IM
(R) - Dark Blue/enough to need IM
(HR) - Green or Yellow/might require full Wet

At least in my experience, the (HR) is very rare at this race. Happens occasionally but the IM tires typically can handle OK.

The first time I was using the Alpine VGT I had (LR) at Lap 3 and didn't need to change tires when stopping for fuel. (R) at Lap the end of Lap 5 which the extra pit stop proved an unsurmountable delay for the win.

Next attempt I had (R) at the end of Lap 3 and would last until the start of Lap 5 or so. Then a light band of (LR) at the end of Lap 5.

As far as the car goes, I was somewhat unimpressed. I thought the Alpine A220 was hard to see behind in VR
But the car was less fuel efficient than I was expecting it to be. Sure it'll make 4 laps in FM4-6, but the car accelerates very poorly on the straights if you keep it below FM1-2.

I took the Escudo to Tokyo and I had a couple of close calls. The 1st came when I ran out of fuel near the end of lap 7 got a tap from the AI, and the 2nd happened when I slowed down due to a roaming gang of AI looking to start some trouble. I slowed down to make sure I didn't hit one of them and during course that I was t boned by one of roaming gang members but it didn't cause me to lose the CRB. I dropped the Nismo engine in the A110 made a livery for it and did some hot laps at HSR & LeMans

Bought 2 cups of Suzuki coffee, swapped one, tuned one for one of the Kei cups. Ran the swap at LeMans, completed one of the Kei Cup races. Ran the SF at Autopolis. It started raining, so I had the idea of changing to IM's. After crashing head-on into the pit wall entrance, I just stayed out, turned the TC up to 5, and finished the race on RM's. It was surprisingly driveable in the rain, which lasted for 4 laps. Never changed tires, never stopped for fuel. Also ran the C4 swap at LeMans. Got nitrous from the wheel.

Also turned on the live stream to get the Ambulance.

You did. :D I haven't done these in a long time so I thought I'd update the leaderboards. ;) Just finished the IB tests and actually made a top 10 time (6th in the world) in the final IB-10. Tomorrow IA.
Ouups sorry, it's not the season to hibernate in Finland yet?

I'll have a look to your top scores tomorrow. And congrats for your Top 10 because IB-10 wasn't very simple to me and really dunno why because there's nothing very complicated there.

Today was very tricky and headache inducing as a play session, I tried to improve my time in the NISMO GTR GT3 on redbull ring track and that track is a pain on Racing hard tires as the car loves to bounce about on the apex.

Then moved over to bash my brians in at the TT for the MAZDA LM55 VGT and I feel there is too much wallriding going on with the top 10 times, they clearly wallride in there ghosts, when I chase and seem to get affected as much as I do, when the dopey penalty system comes into play nulling my lap or slowing it down.

I am on GOLD right now, having acheieved a 55.28secs or sumthing in that TT.

Then I tweaked my Bugatti Chiron, got sum NITROUS, Ceramic Brakes and Stage 5 Wieght Redcution to achive and crack the 311mph trophy on GT7, that was fun as it was done during a custom race on SStage Route X with my highly tuned Aventador and Corvette C7.

Now onto the Speed Archdemon trophy! :D

Spent 5.4mil Cr. Building a 14 car grid of 1970-1973 six-cylinder rippers. Did some races and took some snaps. Sold five of them and discarded the rest. Sitting on my DTM builds until the, hopefully, 190E arrives. When all three AE86s return, I’ll build another N2 grid.

On the Plus account, now that I'm done retesting the Gr.3 cars at Sardegna, it's time to get guaranteed wins there. The Lexus SC430 GT500, while not having the absolute speed of the NSX GT500, is both thrifty enough to run 9 laps on fuel at full tilt and get 15 laps (marginally) on tires. For a change, I got a 4-star Wheel of Despair worth the lowest-possible 10,000 Cr.

On the GTP account, I dragged the 2008 Nissan GT-R GT500 around Sardegna. It will go just about 8 laps full-tilt, and the tires might last 15 laps (I changed them on my lap-8 pit stop), and in my slow hands, it will do a 25:09 run. That was good for a 4-star Wheel of Despair dispensing a racing crankshaft.

Today I did the 1 hour of SPA race for the first time since January only cause at the moment I'm obsess with driving the TS050.

@05XR8 Almost 4K cars but not even 1B spent on cars? Guessing you don't buy high price cars.

Exactly. I only buy cars I prefer and that I know I’ll use. Cars which are, at the most, 550k and below(However, I did buy large amounts of the Alfa 155, Super GT500 cars and Gr.1 cars for certain race series, but not any longer). I bought high priced cars early in the game, before those price hikes. Some of the cars I was gifted, like that FXX-K and P1 GTR. On my alt(haven’t been using it in a long while), I bought the 917K and a few high end cars like the CLK and 911 GT1, but again, those were at the start of the game, before price hikes.

@330_D I didn't care too much the Alpine VGT it got great fuel mileage but felt slow at LeMans. Maybe you can can get more out of than I can but it severely disappointed me. So much so I sold it. I may eventually buy another to play around with it's setup and see I can make it usable for me

I haven't loved all the vgt cars I've been in but anytime you get a big money car or half or a million credits I think it's cool. I'll probably never drive the thing. 😂

The new arrival of mercedes barker at LCD ,will put an end at VGT " shopping" since needed 13 millions to buy it .
Worst impression so far was the Subaru one that i mention some post above.
Good impression gave the Alpine VGT the latest one .
Of course tuning some " monsters" at 700 pp for La Sarthe is not fair treatment for the car itself.
Other than that , i came home late yesterday and did two Barcelona races to get my daily ticket which surprisingly was a 6* clean ticket following the 7x 4* in a row last week's tickets.

From my " vacation" mood......have a good day-week all of you .

1. Today at Le Mans I used an unmodified Toyota Celica Gr.B rally car. More for nostalgia, the car I learned to drive on was my father's '90 Celica GT-S, I was curious how it would do. The car did not have the top end to really compete in this race stock, weather would at least allow for a finish in P6-or P7, I can't remember, but only managed 6 laps.

@smoothbore12
(LR) would arrive on the radar around the end of Lap 2, eventually turning into (R) near the end of Lap 3 where I would pit for IM. Rain lasted until the end of Lap 4. A brief period of (LR) would then come end of Lap 5 and then the track would dry until the end.

2. Daily Workout Ticket would grant me a 4* and give me 30k worth of engine parts for a Mazda 3 ... :irked:

3. Ran the Super Formula race at Fuji again. RS, 1-stop strategy planned. Dry race and would finish P7.

4. I had a little extra time today, so I decided to head back to La Sarthe with the Celica Gr.B ... But this time with a High RPM Turbo.
And what a difference that made! Top end? The straights weren't long enough to find out what that was, but let's say it was 'sufficient'. Fuel efficiency? Garbage. Even in FM6 the car needed to stop for fuel every 2 laps. This didn't seem to matter though, I'd finish over 30 seconds ahead of P2.

As far as weather goes, I had (LR) arrive around the end of Lap 2 but did not wet the track significantly, would last until the end of Lap3. BUT then at the end of Lap 4 I saw some strong weather approaching on the radar. Luckily I'd pit before it hit the track and upon pit exit on Lap 5 I was in (HR) that would last about the rest of Lap 5 and then begin to dry out.

I mis spoke a while back about holding all but one drift mission, time to correct that. I golded the Suzuka one, and, feeling empowered, golded both eco challenges. I coasted over the line at Tsukuba with less than a second to spare, out of gas.
That gave me enough money to put rain tires on the pink Porsche they gave out last month. I did, and ran it at Spa. It was a fantastic ride! The race was as good asy last one where they really pressed me hard in the Trans Am. I saw this car has won the Lake Maggiore race, so I may well try it there.
The win at Spa earned me enough credits to buy all the available parts for all three of the Group 3 911's plus one of the road going counterparts and wet tires for the red 917k. There is a method to my madness... Since I have yet to gold the Spa Circuit Experience or S-10, I may be running a lot of this race with those cars.
I got some grub, ate it, then ran the LM55 around High Speed Ring to earn the Daily Workout. It awarded an engine ticket. I needed that like I need run over by M. Parker in the pits.
Drift missions are a LOT easier with VR. In our driver safety courses, they teach us to look where we want the car to go. I actually learned this with Sega Rally and a couple of no wheels racing games, but putting VR to it and actually turning my head in time with the car's movement produced a light, easily maintainable drift to start, punching the gas increased the scoring rate.
I also re tried the Pass at Fuji. No luck there, I stayed at bronze.

@GlockPants: I've done the nostalgia drive there in the Raptor. It wins on easy, passing everything but the pits.

Didn't much yesterday I just bought 3 jeeps from LCD. Did some hot laps at Le Sarthe with the swapped A110 and the 962 to the daily marathon. Got some basic non s part for the 2014 Jag from a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🎫

1. I've opened the PS5 this morning, I saw your scores... your INSANE scores should I say. Then, I've switched off the PS5...:D

1 hour later:

2. Worked with Godzilla on RBR TT. After some laps in a range of 1:30.9xx - 1:31.1xx, I've finally scored my first gold time with 1:30.643 🥰
I'm happy but the 1st sector was terrible (22.9xx) and I know this weak gold time will not hold 49 days. Good news, I have 49 days to improve my first sector, so if the planets are correctly aligned, I could score a time around 1:30.3xx
#KeepPushing

3. Bought a Mercedes S Barker Tourer :sly:

4. ⭐⭐⭐: Alfa Romeo 4C Gr.3 - Will be sold.

5. Received a motor and an ambulance (WTF?) after watching 2 videos yesterday. Not sure it's very relevant but thank you PD!

6. Started to practice CE on Suzuka with the NSX concept. Only need to gold the final lap.

I drove an ambulance around le mans in VR. If you turn your head around you can just see the bed in the back just before you get the blanked out screen of boundary.
I drove the ambulance the wrong way around the Nurburgring this evening, much to the disapproval of one of the locals who shouted "Nein, Nein, Nein!" at me, which ironically only encouraged me.

Got the himedic and did some RP laps in VR around Tokyo Central, then tuned it and took it around the Nordschleife and Road Atlanta. Not gonna lie I had a good time and hearing the audio clips telling people to be aware I'm turning when using the blinkers or to make way when flashing the high beams made me smile. Fully tuned it outperforms a stock LC500 at Road Atlanta. Much slower on the straight though.

I'll have some fun with it more later, I think the thing is fun even though yeah, it's not powerful.

got my ambulance, and tried to decipher the words you hear coming from the ambulance speakers when you press the R3 button...
It took me a while for that one (assuming R3 is hazard lights) but it's saying 交差点に侵入します。ご注意ください。

Or roughly "Entering the intersection, please watch out/exercise caution"
