Relaxing sunday here: tried to take all gold in the Spa track experience, I golded the different track sectors pretty quickly, but then only managed to get the silver in the whole lap, it's a pity cause I was off only 00:00:200 so...tried and tried and tried but I didn't reach it.
Then did some Sardegna with the R8LMS 19' a car that I particularly love but have never used for it before so I installed the turbo and tried...achieved a poor timing but won without issues.
Bought the De Tomaso Pantera.

Finally raced at Spa with the 308GTB against a bunch of classic cars, when I want to play GT to relax I always use vintage cars, they're a treat to be driven strictly from the cockpit view and TCS off, you just need to re-calibrate and drive slowly calmly and break in straight line, if not....well, you just spin 100% of time :P

@smoothbore12 To help you with the research I have return to le man for a race with my bone stock ferrari gt3 458.

Lap 1 was dry of course.
Lap 2 half way through lap 2 the rader starts to fill up.
Gran Turismo® 7_20230806192152.jpg
End of lap 2 I have to decide to pit or not to pit? I didn't and it was the right call.
Gran Turismo® 7_20230806192340.jpg
Lap 3 light rain falls but nothing that needed IM tires.
Gran Turismo® 7_20230806192424.jpg
Lap 4 a little more rain falls making the track wet.
Gran Turismo® 7_20230806193123.jpg
I also pit in lap 4.
Gran Turismo® 7_20230806193211.jpg
Lap 5 and the radar is starting to clear up.
Gran Turismo® 7_20230806193359.jpg
Lap 6 and 7 are full dry and the radar is clear of any rain.
Gran Turismo® 7_20230806193833.jpg

So all in all a little rain fell but not enough to make me change my plan to pit for fuel and RH on lap 4.:)

Drove 2 races in daily race B (Mount Panorama) because I'm a few races away from the trophy....that was a mistake. It had to be the worse online racing experience I ever had.

Race 1: Started at 5th...kinda a surprised. It all went well until going downhill to the tight hairpin...then I got spun around by someone who braked too late. Ok....gathered myself up and continue. Next lap, got spun around AGAIN at the same place. Errgh....at this point I'm dead last, managed to catch up to 2nd last, managed to pass him in the final lap...then he pushed off track at the last corner....Sigh...

Race 2: Started at 2nd! But meh....pretty much repeated of Race 1. But hey...I'm not dead last this time! Until the very last lap in the final S turn....then I got push off the track when I tried to defend my position.

It appears that the only time I didn't get spin by someone is when I'm dead last....after I got spin around MULTIPLE times.

:mad::mad:

Ran one Le Mans with the BAC Mono till the slot opened for Toyota race. Ran two of those just because I'm the only one in my city running. That means, 600,000 GT dollars just to put points on the board. 😁 After that it was back to Le Mans to tune the Mono for a easy win car. Money in the bank helps with the update coming. Now, the wait for the update and hopefully the car we need to show up in the LCD. Oh, got the old Alfa from the LCD as well.

Thank you guys for your contribution to my " research " .
I will need it again by the end of the month.
From what i see , weather was normal last week with dry , almost dry conditions and rain that wasn't heavy one.
After 20 of this month ill ask you again to confirm ( or not ) that heavy rain with long duration usually falls at that period.

Other than that not much to say , am waiting ( as all do ) the update and what he will bring.
Have a nice week all, i can't wait till Saturday that ill start my summer vacations .

I bought a 2nd QuarttoSport and I painted it Carbon Black and kinda made into a kind of similar to the original livery. Then I took to Tokyo. 1st race and made a tune using Comfort Softs I was able to get like 7 laps kinda of slow. Did a 2nd race with it but I adjusted the Speed to 330 and I was actually able to get 10 laps B4 pitting. Tried one more time with comfort hards but I didn't see any significant gains. QuarttoSport is not as fast some of my other 600 pp tunes but it was the most fun to drive. Took Tom's Castrol Supra and the rain came around lap 3 and it was a monsoon. Lost my minute lead but I was able to pit and put on wets. The rain continued until the end of lap 5. I wondered why it was raining so hard then I remembered how @smoothbore12 mentioned how it seems to rain really hard before an update and lo and behold there's an update tomorrow. I know it's not the end of the month but I don't think it's a coincidence

On the GTP account, I first picked up my 4-star Wheel of Despair for the Kei Car Extra Menu, which naturally gave the lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. I then grabbed the C1 Corvette, 2 Shelby G.T.350's for future engine purposes as it's about to sell out of Hagerty's (widening one of them), 2 Ford Shelby GT350Rs also for future engine purposes (widening one of them), the free 2018 NISMO GT3 (it didn't even take watching the whole trailer), and the new Maserati.

The 6-star from completing the Maserati Extra Menu was quite kind. I picked up the Ferrari FXX-K, which I flipped for 1,801,560 Cr. as I already had the 2 I want. It didn't quite get me to the 4,000,000 Cr. I need for the Valkyrie and the last new Extra Menu, but even before driving, I was back ahead of where I started the day.

Before I actually raced, I hit Red Bull for the movie time trial. After some laps without traction control and some with TC 1 (I hate resorting to that), I eventually got a no-TC lap of just under 1:31.7, currently a solid silver. The workout 4-star Wheel of Despair gave the lowest-possible 10,000 Cr., so that wasn't exactly a help.

To get the new races out of the way, I first grabbed a Ford Shelby GT350R and went to the American Sunday Cup at Road Atlanta. I got a 5.3-second clean win over Solis and his 2002 Dodge Viper in 4:53 for 60,000 Cr.

Next was the WTC 800 at High Speed Ring. I forgot the track had rain, so I had to back out while cruising in the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 and buy rain tires. It is a bit annoying the AI now recognizes the high line is the fast way around the second and last corners, but they forgot the low line is best in turn 1. The Lambo is fast, but it requires FM 3 to make it 10 laps, and the RH tires won't last 20. On an essentially-dry run, I finished in 23:51 despite not taking enough fuel on my pit stop, 15 seconds ahead of Jones and her 2018 NISMO GT3. I even put a couple cars a lap down. Even with the CRB, 240,000 Cr. for more than 20 minutes of racing just isn't worth it.

The Hypercar events were next. The clean Red Bull Ring run of 9:10 in the Ferrari FXX K was good for a 21-second win over Carrazza and the Porsche 918 Spyder and 135,000 Cr (a better deal than the HSR WTC 800 event). I parked it for the Dragon Tail event as I was warned of rain - instead, I grabbed the Lamborghini Veneno. It did the job cleanly with light rain starting near the end of lap 5 in 10:25, winning by 2.9 seconds over Gallo in the Maserati MC20 and netting 142,500 Cr.

I ended the GTP portion of the day just under 1 million Cr. short of the Valkyrie. I'll leave off there for now and see if I can get to the Plus portion later today.

I got disappointed and frustrated why PD would 'release' cars that we cannot purchase. The only thing that can really 'bring me back' to playing this game is the Sophy integrations at this point.

I did the Grand Valley round of the Toyota Gazoo championship yesterday. I don't race online much, I just did required 50 races for the trophy, so this felt like a good challenge. I did a practice run at the track to check tyres etc then gave it ago. Unfortunately, I intended to start the race on mediums and didn't realise that would me I had to qualify with them too.
I finished qualifying and found I was on the front row in 2nd. I think the fact that I was wearing VR must have helped. I've never qualified high up before in my life. I usually get somewhere between 6th and 12th. Note, I am only running in the D DR league with S SR.
I started well and a few corners into the first lap I was able to draw level with the leader on the straight. Only for him to punt me into the wall! So much for clean racing.
This put might right in the middle of the pack where it was very congested with a lot of bumping. No idea if it was malicious. I did at one point miss my break point and bumped into someone so I waited whilst they rejoined the race and followed them til I pitted. Then back out and working my through the feel with several people deliberately swerving across in front of me. I managed to make my way cleanly up to 10th and in the final results find that I've 7th because several people had penalties.

I've not watched the reply back yet, but it definitely did not feel like a S SR clean race.

After that I did a couple of runs at Sardegna and called it a night.

Today, I've bought the two new cars and ran Sardegna again.

done two daily workouts but no prize, due to the game crashing and not saving the miles after both attempts 🤔, and on top of that the game froze when i attempted to do the first daily workout race before even getting on track 🤣

First time I've loaded GT7 in four days. Bought the two cars from the new car dealership, forgot to get the Corvette, did the new 800PP race at high speed ring. It rained a lot.

Today I.

1. Took the Mercedes Benz CLK LM 1998 to Sardegna for the first time easy win.:)
2. Borrowed 10M credits from my piggy bank to buy 3 more Honda RA272 1965 for my Multi class F1 grid now only missing 3 more MP4/4.:)

3. Bought the Sport quattro S1 1987 cause I discarded the prize one I got back then.:)
4. Bought 3 C1 Corvette.:)
5. Completed the 2 new Hyper car events with the Chiron.:)
6. Got a 3* for my ticket stuff.
7. I tried the 800PP event in HSR but gave up once the rain came.
8 . Did the new American Sunday Cup 600 and its pretty cute seeing a C1 corvette trying to beat a Viper GTS.:embarrassed:

Got the C1 Corvette instantly, to me a good old hot rod always seem to put in my mind a good old roadside dinner with a checkered floor pattern.

Also I got an 4-star ticket invite to get a GT by Citroen, gonna grind on those new events!

I also updated the livery I always make. The Cat-poreon Rag doll/ Maine cat mix now has cute mitten paws on the side of the car and its face is now cuter with brighter eyes. ^^

I continued the day on the Plus account by acquiring the two new cars and the free 2018 Nissan NISMO GT-3. As I already had the Valkyrie, I took all 3 Extra Menu Wheels of Despair, getting an Infiniti Concept VGT from the 6-star (keeping it for tuning purposes), a Maverick engine from the engine ticket, and a Porsche invite from the 4-star. As I said, Wheels of Despair all.

The first of the races was the WTC 800 at High Speed Ring. I tried the Chevrolet Corvette Gr.3 as I already had rain tires for it, and found it requires both FM 4 to make it 10 laps and RM tires (which I also already had) to be fast enough. This time, I took enough fuel to make it, and my clean 23:58 was good enough for a 6.7-second win over Fraga and his Lexus RC FA GT3. One thing I learned is a bit of rain, not even enough to warrant a change to intermediates, will force the AI off the high line to their detriment.

I was shocked to find that, instead of a 3-star Wheel of Despair, I got a 4-star Wheel of Despair. Of course, it was for the lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. Before continuing, I looked over Hagerty's and the UCD, and found that the UCD order was rather scrambled - the 1992 Honda NSX Type R, which only sold out 6 days prior, re-entered the rotation, along with the Suzuki Cappuccino (last sold out 7/25) and Lancia Delta (last sold out 7/29).

Next up were the new Hypercar races. The Porsche 918 Spyder got an unclean 3.3-second win in 9:36 at Red Bull Ring (over Lopez and the Aston Martin Vulcan, though I don't remember either going off or having contact) and a clean 5.1-second win in 10:22 at Dragon Trail.

The last race of the night was the American Sunday Cup at Road Atlanta. Partly because Solis was hung up in traffic and gave up, I was able to get a clean 2.7-second win over Jones and her Mustang Boss 429 in the Ford GT40 Mark I.

Bought the Maserati MC20, changed the wheels, changed the colour and drove it around Spa.

Οthers buy a car with difficulty (economic) and others buy them as a package of offers (Supermarket you know....)

1. Improved my PB on the latest sector of Red Bull Ring CE, one of my weakest point of this not-interesting circuit

2. Largely improved my PB on the boring Red Bull Racing with Godzilla at 1:31.194, thanks to @Tidgney advices :) Still 50 days to gain +/- 0.7 sec. to get a decent gold score on this TT.

3. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: Cr. 1.000.000 🥰

Watched the movie trailer with no sound because for odd reason YT has no sound on my PS5 but I never think about it until I watch a video. I bought 2 Corvettes and Aston Martin from LCD to complete te menu. Did the KEI car menu took a wee bit of offense that they mentioned the AZ-1 but it's not in the game. I took the 155 to LeMans. Got rain around lap 3 & 5 but not enough for a tire change. Bought the MC20 took it and the C1 for a spin. Enjoyed both cars. I had 3 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ and 1 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🎟️
Got 10k twice and titanium rods for a 14 VW Golf from the 4 ⭐ and a Suzuki VGT engine from the 6 ⭐

Hopped on and made a fictional Competizone spec of the MC20 and took it to Le Mans 700, the fuel usage is not the best on the car but it sounds really nice and the handling and performance is pretty good on it, I will further upgrade it and test it out at Sardegna with a proper racing setup though I imagine the fuel usage will be extremely poor with added power so I will mainly just do full weight reduction and racing softs along with probably a low RPM turbo for short shifting.

6. Did the daily Weather Race at Le Mans for the great scientist @smoothbore12 :)
The sky was sunny the 2 first laps, only cloudy from 3rd till the middle of the 5th, and then sunny for the victory.
Lady Godzilla did it perfectly and turned 18.000 kms today.
