Today I bought a 2nd Testarossa, this time in the proper red color, and also bought a Skyline '73.

Took the mighty Viper Gr3 for 2 runs at Sardegna.

Collected the final special ticket of 250k, and the daily reward was a 6 stars one. Which got me some parts for a Mazda 3 I don't own. View attachment 1312993View attachment 1312994
The Kenmeri looks really big next to the Testarossa.

Today I did my first engine swap. Dropped a Fiat 6 cylinder in a VW 1200 Bug. I then improved everything else to develop something fun to race. Off to a favorite German GP course where I spent about 25 laps adjusting the suspension so it handles good. What engine swap should I try next?

Ran some TT’s with the Shelby, ran LeMans once with the Celica. Bought a Ferrari Daytona and a Toyota LMP car. Got 10k from the wheel.
We just did the same 🤣
I run Shelby TT for the first time and run one la sarthe with 787 .
Plus i bought two cars !!!
The wheel bring a 4" ticket that ill open on Sunday ( as usual) before i go for 2-3 days for Christmas.

A calm and lovely 7 lap run in my Cayman at Le Mans in dry and mostly sunny weather, got an engine at the holiday lottery that I put into my Nissan R32, and collected 10k. It’s been a while since I had been at La Sarthe, so that was actually quite nice. 😌

Getting close to the ending movie.

Menu book 37 rally group B was tough. Long and unknown tracks. Also I try to play through GT games with as little buying as possible. Therefore I tried the Alsace road course first to win a Ford Focus rally car. After only a 4th place I did the CE. Golded it relatively quickly. Then got a 2nd in the race. Then two more 2nds in the rally races.

A few menu books back the reward was one of three Ferraris. Unfortunately I got the 308 GTB. The worst one possible. Slapped racing softs on it but of the three races I only got third on Catalunya which awarded … another 308 GTB. No shot on Lago Maggiore or Croatia. Not knowing the tracks that well yet doesn't help of course.

Then bought the F8 Tributo. I really don't like it. Guess I will find a tune for it and try again.
It’s funny you mention this. I really really want to love all the Ferraris, because I like the looks of them so much. But so far none of them has worked for me very well, when it comes to consistent and stable driving experience. 🤷‍♂️

Big frustration today .
First i realise that all that time didn't needed to have ps plus to enter at Time Trials 😱 as other members inform me.

Second my yesterday purchase went to a " wallet" at PSN and not at ps plus.
I could run qualifying but not the race its self 🥴

I don't remember how exactly but i manage to purchase a ps plus subscription for 3 months since my wallet had only 60 Euro.
Anyway at March ill put another 60 to get 12 months subscription if needed.

I also don't know if playing with other friends needs ps plus or not ,cause i bought it just for that.
If someone knows ill be glad to inform me 🤔

Finally i did my first online race with Prius ending up at 6th place
And a 6* ticket from daily marathon calm me down a bit.

If by playing with friends, you mean multiplayer, so yes. You do need PS+.

1. Improved my fair-play score from C to S, thanks to some easy races on Tokyo with the Prius... :sly: Tried also some races on Deep Forest with my beloved RSR to increase my driver score (currently C).

2. Golded some CE experiences (Lake Louise, Sardegna, etc.) :)

3. Still stuck 0.4xx from gold on TT Deep Forest. I'll fail to get close or below 10.000th place :guilty:

Good evening / night / afternoon, folks

Adjusted tuning of my Group A E30s, 190 Es and RS500s.

Attempted the Clubman Plus race at Watkins Glen. Got my butt handed to me(ran one of my E30s). Finished last due to an AI team up. Loved the custom AI car variety though(digging that Clio V6).

Did all the weekly challenges before the new ones come around.
Then continued bonus menus.
Got my first clean race bonus in a long time.
Super Formula is fun.

------------------------------

Yesterday I tried the Radical race and only got 5th. Today I first golded the Road Atlanta CE to get to know the track. Took me 160 km (100 mi). First sector and the slow right hander before the back stretch are tough.

Then easily won the Radical race however. Won the other 4 weekly challenge races as well for good measure.

Bonus menu 40 (VGT Cup) was surprisingly fun. The gifted Mazda LM55 VGT handles like a charm and has the most insane brakes on the planet. Detuned to the required 850 pp it was great.

Got a CRB at Yamagiwa. I'm really trying to become a clean driver but I'm just too imprecise and take too many risks. I will only start racing online once I have dialed that in. Years of single player only have created some bad habits.

Finally I started the Super Formula bonus menu book. Did Watkins Glen twice. Crashed each time, therefore no podium. A win is definitely possible. Just have to keep it on the road next time.

Much like you, I had never until just very recently done anything online with Gran Turismo. My advice is jump in. Just give it a go. Your driver and sportsmanship ratings matter so little at the start. Don't sweat it. You'll be with mostly super fresh or not very capable drivers from the start. You'll progress while figuring it all out. Just drive clean. That's the biggest thing. (In my opinion anyway). It can be pretty fun. It can be infuriating too, but it's cool to check out that side of it.

On the GTP account, I took the Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 to Sardegna and used lapped traffic as a pick to highly discourage SuperFraga. My fifth 3-star Wheel of Despair of 18 this month (and pending the Plus account run, 7th of 35) puked out the low-showing 10,000 Cr. on an all-cash Wheel.

On the Plus account, I took the last of the login campaign bonuses, 250,000 Cr., and tried the newer Nissan GT-R GT3 at Sardegna. That effort was helped by the normal version of Fraga not getting through traffic. The all-cash 5-star Wheel of Despair gave the middle-showing/lowest-possible 100,000 Cr.

Nothing much today on my NA account, spent some time on my EU account "grinding" through all of the Weekly Challenges. Today the Porsche race in the rain took 4 attempts with each race running a different car until I found the correct car\tire combination to bring it across the line with a win. Finished the stint off buying a bunch of cars from the used car market to increase my car count.

After the frustration that i had with ps plus membership and my first ever race with Prius,i took a brake and after that try to go under 1.47 with Selby.
Just managed the gold for few thousands .that means i secure the silver for good.
Also i did one race at la sarthe for griding purposes and that's all.

Watched the Gran Tourismo movie last night and then hopped on to the game to do some of the X2019 races. Trial Mountain is fun, but tough. I can catch up to the front runners by lap 4 but my tires are really starting to hurt at that point. By Lap 7 they are almost gone and I fall too much off the pace or spin out. Haven't even completed it yet. I absolutely do not have the pace at Autopolis. A couple laps in and I am losing ground on the leaders. Sardegna was easy. Dragon Trail was easy so long as you don't crash in the "Chicane of Death". Haven't tried Lake Maggiore yet.

5* log in ticket gave me 100k. :irked:

5* daily Marathon ticket gave me a Porsche Invite. :banghead:
I love David Harbour, I think he has good acting skills considering how old he is. I am fixing to do some online races at Tokyo.

I saw your scores in game and yes, you're very fast

I don't know if i was fast or not ,but what I can't " swallow " and i will need time to recover, is that i thought TT's needed ps plus.
I miss so many months and never read somewhere that is doable .

Gah! :ouch: GT7 TTs are one of the only reasons I've kept my PS Plus subscription going!

So you've not been playing when you could have been, and I've been paying for it when I didn't need to...

dumb and dumber harry GIF

Yea , the funny thing is that i bought a card and went to my psn in a wallet that didn't give attention to it.
I thought ok that's it and start a TT and was : Ok great etc.etc.
I post it and some members wrote: you don't need ps plus for TT's !!!!!
I was about to die 🤣
And yesterday i took 3 months subscription with about 36 euro left .
I don't care about online races , just with some friend-s maybe and that's all.
But TT's is another story that might be very pleasant.
Perhaps ill get another 3 months at March and that's all .

I did the first 3 Weekly Challenges and got 250,000 Cr for that, plus a 5* ticket for the Daily Marathon.

The Civic Touring Car one-make race at Watkins Glen was a lot of fun and I pulled off arguably my best ever overtake at the entrance to the chicane, scything through between three slower cars without touching them at all, hitting both apexes, and emerging 3 places nearer the front scarcely believing my skill luck. Unfortunately I forgot to save the replay.

That said, my joyful mood was brought down by the 5* ticket 'reward' - a Bore Up for an AMG worth 33,000 Cr. - incredibly disappointing, and another is an on-going streak of utter garbage DM tickets - but even by the recent low standards, this one really pissed me off.
