What did you do in GT7 today?

Tried to gold the Trial Mountain TT. Still not there. This Supra is a beast. At least my optimal time was in Gold territory.
In between TT sessions I golded the Trial Mountain CE. But that doesn't really help. TT times are always much more challenging.

Edit: was late to the punctuation party.

Edit 2: @Chikane_GTR I know you can read, so why be a poopyhead doo doo face and hurt my feelings intentionally? I even said please and thank you, yet you insist on hurting my feelings.

It was Weekly Challenge Day. On the GTP account, I took 1,000,000 Cr. for getting silver at Spa, and another 1,050,000 Cr. from the Manufacturers Cup (1st/gold in my metro area, 2nd/silver in my state, bronze for the manufacturer and regional rankings). I proceeded to rent a mule at Nurburgring and set a solid silver time of just over 2:25.3 after many laps. The ensuing 4-star Wheel of Despair gave the lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. as usual.

I tried to play fair on the Weekly Challenges, which went as such (all cars stock, all races won with CRBs):
  • The Suzuka Japanese FF Challenge, using a 2017 Suzuki Swift Sport, with no new content, went in 3:18
  • Blue Moon Bay American Sunday Cup, using a 2018 Ford Focus, with new pre-race chatter (the only one with such), a Pontiac GTO Judge and a Ford Sierra Cosworth, went in 4:21
  • The Deep Forest Radical one-make went in 8:40 (with a couple restarts)
  • The Nurburgring Schwarzwald League, using a 2016 Porsche 911, with a 2022 Porsche 911 and a Porsche 959, went in 7:42
  • The Trial Mountain WTC 900, using a 2019 Audi RS 5 Turbo DTM, with no new content, went in 18:35
The all-cash 5-star Wheel of Despair kicked in the middle-showing/lowest-legal 100,000 Cr.

On the Plus account, I overpowered the Challenges (cars stock unless specified):
  • The Suzuka Japanese FF Challenge, using a 2022 Honda Civic, went in 3:03
  • Blue Moon Bay American Sunday Cup, using a 2018 Dodge Challenger, went in 4:07 (had plenty of wheelspin through 4th gear)
  • The Deep Forest Radical one-make race, using one tuned up to 584.88 PP, went in 8:26
  • The Nurburgring Schwarzwald League, using a 2022 Porsche 911 tuned to 699.22 PP, went in 7:31
  • The Trial Mountain WTC 900, using a 1988 McLaren MP4/4, went in 17:46
The all-cash 4-star marathon Wheel of Despair gave the low-showing/lowest-possible 10,000 Cr., while the cashless 5-star from the Weekly Challenge gave a 2015 Nissan GT-R LM NISMO, which I hung onto for tuning purposes.

Today I completed the weekly challenges motivated by the good outcomes from the 5 stars ticket people reported back at the weekly challenges thread.

So, the 5 stars ticket gave me an Enzo engine. I also saw a Ferrari invitation and 2 Gr3 cars in the mix.

The daily marathon ticket gave me 30k.

Did weekly challenges, lost CRB in 5th and first event 🥴 and the fastest lap at 5th event.
5* gave me 100k and only credits was in it , just credits.
Run one round in La Sarthe with ZondaR and collect my 2 million TT award and that's all.

Collected the silver cash from latest TT, then upgraded (unnessesarily) a Radical at Deep Forest. Then took a RUF around the Nurburgring for an easy win. That gave me a 4* ticket, which coughed up 1 million credits, happy days.

Then topped it off with a few laps of the Nurburgring TT with the RX8, I quite like this combo, might even try for gold

Did a few online at Daytona race C story in daily race .

Did one of the week event while Esther did the first two , without braking assist and lowering some other assit .

And runned sardegna once to get a bit of cash. to buy the Nissan R92 CP.

And gold CE on Daytona as i had the full only silver.

I did the WC WTC900 race at Trial Mountain and won comfortably in the GT-R Nismo '16.

I then realised it wasn't stock (I had added the High-RPM Turbocharger) so I did the race again without it and RM tyres, which put me under the stock PP for the car. I won the race by almost the same margin as before. I didn't manage to get the CRB for either race, but 160k for 10 laps isn't bad.

I got a 6* ticket for the DM and got 500K for that - so not a bad morning money-wise.

-

Also for the 5* ticket for completing the WCs - won an SRT Tomahawk X VGT worth 1M Cr. :)

The last race (1 lap at the Nordschleife) was easy using IM tyres.

I'll present my plan for today:

  • Warm-up, around 100 km, thinking about Barcelona or Deep Forest (time trial), some Gr2 category car.
  • About 30 minutes of training on Seaside, then at least two attempts at the race.
  • Practice in a good lobby (Gr3/4, BoP).
This is probably the first part of the plan, considering that I'm home alone until the evening, and maybe there's around 420 in the pocket.

Hehe.

Only because I haven’t driven it in a while…used my 919 hybrid in the WTC900 Trial Mountain and caught the rabbit insanely quickly for an easy 1st place finish. Got a 3 star for the daily miles and won a Mach Forty from it. Should yield at least 100k Cr. when sold I’m guessing.

1. Some daily races, mainly on Daytona.
I'm in "S" and despite several "not too bad" results with my beloved RSR (see below), I'm struggling to improve my "C" DR rating (very few penalties or contacts with others cars). Usually, I start 13th to 15th and finish in the 10th firsts (or in top 5 when I'm lucky).

Tomorrow, I'll race with the Ford GT LM, which is obviously faster on that track.

2. Visited Le Mans (twice) with my beloved GT-R for credits reasons.

3. ⭐⭐⭐⭐: Cr. 30.000... :yuck:

It was, at least for the GTP account, the last set of Daily races I'm doing. First, however, I came into the 11 am CST GTWS slot pretty cold as power went out last night right as I was set to practice and see how many laps I could get on RS tires. I got door number 4 in a 15-car D/S room with 11 points to the winner. I let the other 14 drivers qualify, mostly on mediums and softs, though some joker went out on intermediates. The top time was 1:55.6, which I probably wouldn't have matched.

As I have seen others say the soft tiress last 5 laps, I decided on a 3-RM/9-RS strategy. It was a sloppy race, though I finished 3rd with 10 points after somebody ahead of me forgot to change tires.

I immediately went to Tsukuba and rented a Fairlady Z, starting 9th/last (and 2nd of the no-qualifiers) in a mixed C/D room (mostly S drivers, 1 A). I worked my way up to 5th thanks to some wrecks, and even had the fastest lap.

I then rented a Chevrolet Corvette Gr.4 at Dragon Trail, starting 14th of 16, and 2nd of 4 no-qualifiers, in an all-D/S room. It didn't go brilliantly as I had a moment on lap 3, but I finished 12th and clean.

As it was quite a bit of a wait for Daily C (it had started just before I got out of the Daily B room), I took my 4-star Wheel of Despair, and the all-cash Wheel disappointed as usual, pushing out the low-showing/lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. The last Daily race saw me start 15th and last (the only car to not take a time) in a mixed C/D room. I had zero pace, not breaking 1:50.9, though I did get 11th of 13 finishers.

On the Plus account, I rented the real (and newest) Ford GT Race Car at Daytona, and started 14th/last (3rd non-qualifier) in an all-D/mostly-S room. I was marginally faster, getting to near 1:50.7, and thanks to a penalty to somebody for not pitting, I finished a clean 10th of 12 who took the checkered flag.

While I waited for the other 2 rooms to open, I took my 4th 3-star Wheel of Despair of 11 (and 6th of 22 between the two accounts) this year, for a 2015 Honda Civic. I hung onto that for tuning purposes.

I then rented a Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport at Dragon Trail, and set off 15th, last of the 2 who didn't take a time in the all-D/S room. It wasn't a good race, as I finished 10th of 12 who took the checkered flag, though I somehow hung onto a no-bar D DR rating because the game refused to kick me back to E.

Tsukuba was a full D/S room, with me starting 12th, 2nd of 2 drivers to not take a time. The connection went haywire, so I took a last-among-finishers 11th so I didn't potentially ruin anybody else's race by net-coding into them.

Did the weekly challenge got a 10k cr from a ⭐⭐⭐⭐🎫 and the Hyundai VGT which I plan on sell once I take for a spin

Bought 4 more Superbirds. Ran LeMans with one and with the DeLorean swap. Got 10k from the wheel. Ran the Superbird at The Glen and Blue Moon. Tried some Custom races at Daytona with the Superbirds. Toughest race I‘ve ever run. The AI is just brutal on the Oval.

Finished up the weekly challenge with the GTR GT500. Full power, one stop strategy and it was done in the blink of an eye.

Won the Amuse S2000 GT1, which was nice since I forgot all about it. Unfortunately it’s garbage to drive.
