Finally won a few of the races that had thwarted me - Mt Panorama GT3, Suzuka and NGP WTC 900, rallycross Gr B.

Now all I have left is the Fuji clubman race with the massively tuned opposition. Not sure what to use for that one.

If i'm thinking about the right event, i suggest @praiano63 his 700 pp tune for the Impreza Gr B road car :-)

Did a Tokyo 600pp as a 'grind', but again didn't get the CRB.

Bronzed a couple CE's just to see how difficult they may/may not be.

Finally got around to Golding Master IB which I'd abandoned on account of the Impreza at Lake Louise. Tried it with my controller instead of the wheel, and golded it 5th or 6th time around. The hardest one was the Porsche at Maggiore, best part of half a second off time and time again, did nothing different and somehow golded it.

Anyway, won the LFA so that's one less car to buy, leaving I think only the 14 most expensive cars still to get. Going to try and make sure I at least Silver the TT's, complete the weeklies, and do a Sarthe, Sardegna or Tokyo at least 5 times per week, this should ensure that I can pick up at least two or three of the most expensive cars each time the LCD cycle goes around.

Today I took my Clio V6 to Watskin Glenn and got my ass kicked by the competition in the Clubman+ race.

Since I'm running out of Gr3 cars to run at Sardegna I started buying some odd cars and put them to work there. Last sunday I bought a Beetle Gr3, today I bought a GT by Citroen. Ran once at Sardegna for the usual money (Mclaren purposes...)

Today i experience my first ever online race among friends.
I know isn't a big deal for the majority there but for an old GOD * like me is something 😊

@Lomic kick our but..tons for good.
@Pesselles was unlucky he deserved at least one win but rumours said that he was under heavy attack from his furious cat 🤣 .
The Kart noise make her angry and attacked him at the final race.

All in all was very enjoyable with almost faultless Lomic smash the competition and we must search a " plan " to take our revenge 🤣.

* GOD = grumpy old dude .

Yeah, that was so much fun to play together !!!
In fact, Pintig is innocent (like me). I had an issue with my controller (the famous stick drift issue) on the final race and the kart ended in the grass... Unlucky but I had so much fun that doesnt matter!

GOD power!!

Today was a nice Sunday funday session:

Firstly, I went out and bought the 1966 GT40 Race car from the LCD. Completed the Ford GT menu book - 5-star ticket win!
Secondly, tackled the clubman plus race at Fuji which was very odd, the game can't pick good cars to jumble together it all wierd one.
3rd - Tackled some weekly races and did the Schwarzlard league race on the Nurburgring and aimed to finish for the 500k ticket.
4th - Had to also complete the Trail mountain WTC800 race also to net that ticket.
Lastly - I did some more runs In the Tom's Supra GT500 on TRIAL MOUNTAIN and managed to improve my time down to 1:53.4 to net a gold, but I am still nowhere as fast as those roboto aliens at 1.50 mark sheesh! Still a couples of days to try I guess hehe.

Onto more next days of fun racing and more online daily races!

I spent the weekend fishing off my Porsche 934 liveries for my custom race series. I now have 7 complete liveries, mainly from Le Mans but with a couple of Nurburgring 300km cars thrown in. It has taken me far too long and been a real labour of love, but finally done them all. Feel free to help yourself to some! I cannot recommend the 931 Turbo with Priano tune highly enough and racing against 12 more of them at Spa or Watkins Glen or the Ring is an absolute blast.

On the primary NA account I finished up the weekly challenges which led me to completing a few more of the Gr.3 races. The 7 lap race at Deep Forrest Raceway was enjoyable enough to run it 6 or 7 seven times (using a different car each time). I guess it also helps with the grind for the Gr.1 Mazda I want at Haverty's.

The EMEA account was more "grinding" at Deep Forrest running the remainder of the Gr.3 cars I didn't get around to on the primary account.

On the secondary NA account (Wife's primary) "we" ran a few practice laps around High Speed Ring before trying a few easy races. I think she is starting to enjoy GT7 (especially using the racing rig).

Today plan is to finish the weekly challenges on the EMEA account and running some qualification laps for weekly race A.

1. Golded Laguna Seca final lap CE (by 0.005 sec....) For those who are interested, my CEs scores are available in my signature.

2. Tried just once the new GR.3 daily race at Laguna Seca with the RSR. It was a real bloody carnage... Was bumbed out of the track by someone who left the race immediatly right after. I'll probably not race it again.

3. Visited Le Mans where the (AI) drivers were much more friendly and easy to overtake :D

Last night I finally completed 'The Sun Also Rises' missions, by winning the Le Mans 24 minutes - it was a tight race though, and I was helped by the chasing AI ramming right into a back marker with just two corners to go, when otherwise they may have caught me right on the line.

-

This evening I fancied a few races with 'historic' cars - so many of my favourites are in this category, but there's not much to go on tin terms of events with them.

So I came up with my own concept - a PP Ladder.

I decided to try the same Historic Cars race (Grand Valley, 5 laps, Hard Difficulty - 580 PP max.) with my favourite historic cars with decreasing PP each time. To my knowledge they are (mostly) stock, and I got to 469 PP before struggling. Here's the results so far:
  • Lamborghini Miura P400 '67 (565 PP) - easy win
  • Ferrari 365 GTB4 '71 (548 PP) - easy win
  • De Tomaso Mangusta '69 (492 PP) - win
  • De Tomaso Pantera '71 (484 PP) - one loss (Miura); easy win (no Miura)
  • Ferrari 308 GTB '75 (469 PP) - two losses (Countach '74)
  • Lancia Stratos '73 (446 PP) - loss
  • Maserati Merak '80 (425 PP) - 3rd place

I modified my Next Level F-GT chair from Formula to Standard seating to see if it would help my back and shoulder pain. So far the shoulder is feeling better but the back still hurts. Very strange feeling being in this position when I've been in the formula position for the last year.

After that I went out and golded a bunch more Masters License exams. Just have a couple left to do in the Super License and I'll be solid gold.

4. Improved some already-golded sectors on the Nürburgring Grand Prix CE with the AMG GT3 but blocked at 0.1 sec from gold on the lap attack. Will be back on this CE tomorrow and see if it's help to improve my poor current score on the TT with the RX-8.

Bis bald ;)

Managed to mess up the 30 min race at Road Atlanta twice. First time due to thinking the pit entrance was on the left, thus missing it and going a full lap without fuel. Didn't manage to close the gap and ended 6th.

Soooo we try again. Everything smooth, 5 or so mins to go with a comfortable lead. Enter the pits, check my phone for a bit. Regular pause didn't work so i clicked the PS icon in the controller, which usually triggers a forced pause (or so i thought) - went out for a smoke and when i got back i found myself in the grass, 18th place with less then 1 minute to go. Quit the game for today 😂🤔

Bought the Ferrari GTO as an impulse buy. Took a snap of the wheels and sold it. I think I bought it because of the latest Liberty Walk F40 conversion of the Mazda AZ-1( love classic Ferrari round taillights). Was going to buy a 308 and take photos with the GTO. Also thought about taking photos of the Pontiac GTO along with Mitsubishi GTO. Snapped out of my daydreaming and that’s why I sold the Ferrari.

Today I ran once at Sardegna (Mclaren purposes). This time with the Porsche 962C. And what a machine that is! I lapped everybody in the race 😂

Also, accepted various psn invitations from fellow GTP members.

Realised I liked the Mazda Spirit Racing livery, but disliked the white (and more so the grey) so - while I was doing the Maserati for the Daily Races article - I made this:

1705365809467.png

It's PPP Colorshift with a 75% opaque black layer over it to tone down the pinkness. There's a couple of small diversions from the original and I've left/right coded it in white/red.

Pity the current Manufacturers season just ended, really.

I have been building and playing custom races lately. Today I played 1988 F1, Group A, Super GT 2008, and 2020 V8 Super Tourers.

These are the custom races I have set up to play with full or nearly-full grids of cars. There are only a few stand-in cars where GT has a weird gap in the car list (for example, BRZ GT300s for Prius GT300s). When I get the right liveries on everything, I will post pics of the whole set of custom races I’ve built.

I do wish that GT allowed for more cars in each grid and for multiple classes of cars. And building whole championships. Would save a lot of time.

Yeah, I demolished that Viper drift mission with 8057, I can post my video later if you want to take a look at it.

Well... that 👆 went well...
Just curious, is it the maximum we can have?
(congrats)
Well Yes But Actually No GIF by walter_

There is no maximum*.

There's a limit of 100,000,000cr acquired through the game - or "free" credits - but no limit on the amount of credits you can buy for money.

*Actually there may be, but for practical purposes there isn't.
**But if there is, it'd probably be 2,147,483,647cr.
***Which, for reasons noted above, would cost you $20,477.21
