Cars bought;
  • Sauber Mercedes C9 ´89
  • SG19 Super Formula / Toyota '19
  • Toyota GR010 HYBRID '21

Events raced;
  • Sardegna with a detuned Sauber Mercedes. What a beast!
  • Daily Race A – Red Bull Ring Short 4 times. | Finishing positions: 1st, 7th, 4th and 5th.
  • Did some races with friends in the online Lobby's. Used the Super Formula and the Toyota GR Hybrid for the races and several tracks.

Ended the week with a 3 star ticket, which gave me 5000 credits.

Won the Suzuka 950PP race in the Toyota F1 car and got 1mill credits with the 6 star ticket. Singleplayer is 100% complete again.

Signed up for the Nations & Manufacturers Cups & made a livery for the 2x Supra's I'll be using this time round. Did a few practice laps for round 2.

Bought the Sauber C9 to complete the Group C set.

I had already got gold on the first sector of the Circuit Experience for Kyoto Driving Park - Yamagiwa, so I finished that up today. Then I decided to get all golds on the Circuit Experience for Daytona, as well, which ended up netting me a four-star ticket. I felt so close to winning my first engine swap, but what I won was very nice, too: some titanium connecting rods for the Corvette (C7) ZR1, the first time I've won such a part. This marks my fourth special part overall, with the other three being two Stroke Up S parts for the Honda NSX Type R '02, and a Ultra-High-RPM Turbo for the Mazda RX-7 Spirit R '02.

Then, I tired my hand at the Gr.1 Prototype Series, starting with the ten-lap race at Daytona. (Go figure that the other major American motorsports event, the Indy 500, is also today.) I used the only Gr.1 car I had, the Audi R18 TDI '11, and despite using RH tires and placing the FM all the way on 6, I still had to pit at the halfway point - though I didn't need to change tires. Still, I only got P8. I wonder how I'd do if I changed to Racing Mediums, instead? It's amazing that Kokubun, true to his word, doesn't pit, despite driving a non-hybrid Group C Mazda 787B. Makes me think of changing to a different Gr.1 car, but I don't want to use the Mazda LM55 VGT, as everyone seems to be suggesting.

I then quickly got all gold for the Circuit Experience for Trial Mountain. Returning to the Gr.1 Prototype Series race at Daytona, I tried using Racing Mediums instead. Somehow, I ended up pitting at the end of lap 6 instead of lap 5 like I did last time, and this time, I did get a new set of RMs. But I actually ended up doing even worse, with a final position of 12th. Sure enough, it seems that the only AI driver to use the R18 '11 was in dead last, too. Makes me think of using an electric hybrid, rather than one based on diesel. Perhaps I'll try buying the newer yet more affordable 2016 iteration of the R18. Either way, a Gr.1 car that's both an electric hybrid and "only" costs 1m is likely in my future, and that'll be easy enough to get since I have over 6.2m.

Anyway, I decided to finish things up by making a very basic livery for my spare Toyota Tundra TRD Pro.

EDIT: The electric hybrid Gr.1 cars that cost 1m are as follows:

Audi VGT
Audi R18 '16
McLaren VGT
Nissan GT-R LM Nismo
Peugeot L750R Hybrid VGT
Toyota TS030
Toyota TS050

And then the hybrids which cost 3m are the Porsche 919 and the Toyota GR010. I mostly got the R18 TDI '11 for the trophy that requires that you take a photo of this car at Le Mans, within scapes. But what confuses me, is why are so many people recommending the Mazda LM55 VGT if it's not a hybrid? Won't you need to pit for fuel?

-got gold in Circuit experience at Cirtcuit de la Sarthe (1 200 000 cr)
- Converted the y e l l o w e v o into the Puma Evo V of gran turismo 2
-Bought another y e l l o w e v o and changed rims (enkei, don't remember the model), and put semi-racing exhaust, Sports ECU, sports suspension, and Sports brake discs and pads, weight reduction stage 1, rollcage and of course anti lag and sport hard tyres

I'm starting to hate Kokubun, at Mazda MX5 endurance at Tsukuba he is very fast and he's difficult to win unless you do the right strategy with pit stops and not spin or crash under the heavy rain

I was feeling great today, so I decided to mess around for once in GT7 instead of moan about grinding. I am back at the credits cap anyway.

Forgot to buy the Sauber C9 today, but I definitely will this week. I missed out last time it was available and won’t miss it again.

I managed to beat the Gr.1 race at Sainte-Croix C on hard (in other words, beat it properly) with the dominant Peugeot L750R. Managed to overtake most of the field on the first lap. Pitted at the end of lap 4 for fuel, but kept the hard slicks on. Won by 20 seconds or so.

I also decided to do an “RM” build with the 930 Turbo in the used dealership. I took it around the Nordschleife and Sainte-Croix B for the Schwarzwald League races. Very fun car. Did an “RM” build with the first-gen BRZ as well and used it for the Race of Turbo Sportscars at Sainte-Croix B.

You can tell I love Sainte-Croix a lot…

Up yours PD, raise the price of the McLaren F1 by another 900K. Why not make it an even 20, mother****ers.
Really, is PD that tone deaf :banghead:

Forza tonight...

But only one car left to get before being able to set up classic endurance races:
1966 Ford GT40 Mk1 5,600,000 LCD June 4
Got to have the GT40 in there. Hopefully I can still afford it when it comes around lol.

Brought the Suzuki VGT and another Swift for tuning and painting purpose
FT-EMuoWUAIx1S9

Did the 30 minutes in the rain mission on Suzuka from the Moby Dick mission collection. GT7 needs more of those long rain races. Finished 1st by around 40 seconds in a '17 Nissan GTR tuned to just under the PP limit.

First stint was fuel map 6. Pitted on lap 13 (maybe 14) for fuel and tires. Pitted earlier than needed on lap 20 for fresh tires and a full tank so I could push harder for the final 10 laps, switched to fuel map 3 until the last 2 laps where I went to map 1.

Realized that there were a handful of drag race missions I hadn't done that are "use your own car", so decided to get the Tomahawk out.

Hmmmm, let's see here.. grinded more of the Trial Mountain Cup with 3 of my own built American Black Beauties..

L-R

1). 2015 Ford Mustang GT/ 660HP/ 700PP
2). 2018 Camaro ZL1/ 857HP/ 719PP
3). 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat/ 809HP/ 733PP

.. to gain a cool mil', to purchase.. the Bugatti VGT!

Bugatti-BB.jpg

yeah, French, but previously German (I wonder how that went down btw..), regardless, pretty nice, & with 1626HP/918PP, I think I can live with it.. at least for running errands & lobby time.. LoL..

0510 UK time. Yesterday started tge day with acc, but after amending my gt dd pro using @PirovacBoy suggested settings thought I'd give gt7 another go. Ended up spending 4 hours on monza daily race b, then beat ce brands hatch by 1 second and just scraped monza too, on 2nd go and sardegna (the track ive probably spent most time on in gt7) on 1st go. Maybe lapping brands hatch over and over in acc helped... know the course well now, so goes to show how important it is for some putting time in on circuits. At least for me, as been away from video games for a decade, so. I used tcs1 on all of them. I'm pretty average driver, straddling c and d in sports mode. Notice with monza, you can comfortably finish 5+ positions higher than grid start by driving conservatively. Guaranteed to see a load of penalties and incidents on this circuit. But can be a boring race sometimes tbh, which surprised me.

Ran script for 5 hours, to bring in some credits for legendary car today. Bought the porsche, need another 8 mill for the mcclaren.

Today, i intend on taking porsche to one of the top paying races, and then another circuit experience or 2, along with focus on daily race for the week.

Gt7 has got it hooks back in :D

Only had an hour spare so it was Spa.

I've got enough Cr for the Porsche or the Mclaren and can't make my mind up, I'll sleep on it and decide later lol

1 star roulette for my efforts today, thanks!

I keep hoping to get my first engine swap, but I haven't seen one even turn up for over a month now??

3 star for me. Won a fully customizable suspension worth 24k for a mcclaren... :D

Parts are an utter joke on the roulette thing. Although guess with todays win, there's more of a chance I'll actually use it at some stage...

Parts are even worse when you forget you forget you have them. I tuned my golf for one of the human comedy races, only to find out a day later I had a tuning part for a golf, a part I had already put on the car!

I was so annoyed that I went and bought another golf just so I could use the part. Now it's going to sit in my garage and probably never get used!

😡😡😂😂

Tried my hand at some Circuit Experience tests across a handful of tracks. Wasn't able to gold many of them. But it did earn me enough cash, to buy the Sauber Mercedes C9 from the legendary car dealership. Which in turn got me to collector level 23 and unlocked the Human Comedy missions. Looking forward to attempting those races later on.

More progress on my Reset.

Completed the original end-game (Mission 39) and opened up the new 'Bonus Menus'

Managed to complete much of the campaign with what the game gave me this time.

Only bought 3 cars (aside the one you have to buy from the UCD at start-up).

- A Truck for the Truck Menu (unavoidable).

- Civic Touring Car (big Honda fan boy... was going to hold off but couldn't help myself)... I beat Kyoto Human Comedy with a tuned EK9 so... it could well make me my money back if I go the same route again. Just loved a little FF Civic, down on power, tearing through the twisities against Supras, Sylvia's, NSXs etc. 🤤

- Cappuccino (one eye on the new Kei Car event and the Human Comedy mission at Autopolis - first time round I managed a 1 stop easy victory at Autopolis with a mildly tuned Capuccino but couldn't get anywhere close with a full tuned Beat surprisingly).

I spent very little on tuning this time round; main money went on bringing my gifted 911 upto PP for the Porsche Cup, some handling refinements to tame the F12 Berlinetta, and staged upgrades to use my R32 on the way up through the increasing PP events.

I'm sitting on around 6.5M. No plan of action though I do want the F40 and Pennzoil GTR again.

Favourite Car, the Gr.2 Nismo can wait this time as there are no set events for it so I will pick that up later down the line.

I tried to really match the field with my car choices this time round and rarely changed anything unless I was clearly in an inferior car at which point I added a medium tyre and/or some basic bolt-ons)

Got a four-star ticket after midnight and FINALLY got my first engine swap: an LS9 for the Trans Am. Fittingly American for Memorial Day.

Bought the Sauber as well and did a test race at Le Mans. Finished in first after a bit of a shameful divebomb on a Peugeot 908 at the final chicane. I will say I finished in second then.

I tried reducing the downforce on my Audi R18 TDI '11, but all it got me was a marginally-better finish of P7. I went on to get all golds on the Circuit Experience for Laguna Seca, and started to think about nabbing that Mercedes-Sauber C9 from the LCD. Indeed, on my latest attempt at that Gr.1 race at Daytona, two of the cars on the podium were Group C racers. And it would make sense that a Group C racer would be better than a modern LMP at Daytona, considering that a sizable amount of the track is taken at high speed.

When I lowered the downforce on my R18 '11, I did a time trial on Racing Mediums just to see what time I'd get, and I was about two whole seconds faster than with the stock downforce setting, with a time of about 1:30.xxx. So I think a Group C racer like that C9 may be the answer here.

For what it's worth, when I do race at Daytona, I can't avoid pitting, even with the FM on 6. The furthest I've been able to go is six laps without pitting.

Finally bought this.

Of course, it's money well-spent.

It can run on par with heavily-tuned modern road cars. (Provided those said cars are equipped with slicks).

Had fun running a custom race against my 750 pp tuned (racing tires) cars. Just goes to show the immense progress cars had gone through over the years.

Jealous! 🤤🤤🤤

Bought a few ordinary cars at the used shop. Jumped into the detuned Veyron and killed the field in the first Vision cafe race. I like this car. A lot. Did a lazy "6 minute and a bit" lap of the 'Ring with it detuned to just under 800 PP. Should be able to chop a decent bunch of time off that with no ballast and full HP, and very minimal braking. The thing stuck like glue on my "feel the car out" run.
