What did you do in GT7 today?

I've done two goes at leman 700pp today (Maclaren 650 & Nissan GTR G3), the G3 cars all need a tweek down to match the new PP limits, and one at Sardinia 800pp (Lexus RC). I also ran the 600pp clubman race that was asked about at Watkins that was interesting in the Honda ra7, I literally got shoved off the track on lap 4 by thr Ford Roadster that just seems obsceley fast in a straight line the honda on the other hand is quick silver in the corners

What did I do today ...... I ruled

The new TGT-II base is in, so on the GTP account, I sent the rental Ferrari around Tokyo for a marginal silver time of just under 2:08.2. That got me the (cam)shaft for a car that takes the S variety from the 4-star Wheel of Despair.

I was annoyed that I had to tune the Jimny further than the full-control ECM, stage 1 weight reduction and roll cage that took the prior Jimny Cups to be competitive at Eiger. I went with the medium turbo, racing air filter, racing muffler and racing manifold to bring the power up to 114 and the PP up to 367.99. That got me a 2.6-second win in 4:29.

Fishermans Ranch wasn't quite as frustrating as the random flights of fancy seem to be gone. Still, it took many restarts to get the 16.6-second win in 7:05 at the World Rally Challenge in a stock (other than the dirt tires) Ford Focus Gr.B Rally Car.

Surprisingly frustrating was the Special Event at Sardegna. It took almost 100 miles of retries, but I got a 0.8-second win in 7:46 with a stock Lamborghini Gallardo.

Taking fewer tries was the Interlagos Hyper Car Parade, ultimately done with the 2022 Porsche 911 in an "unclean" 12:03 (I don't know where I lost the CRB) and a 5.3-second win. The final race was the Laguna Seca WTC 600, done in 16:04 for a 1.5-second win in a Chevrolet Corvette Gr.4.

I was too wiped out to do a Plus run today.

Did about 8 daily race B’s today and dealt with a lot of dirty drivers in driving ranking A since yesterday. Broke my PB for the event and got down to 1’52”581 but still off by three seconds against the top GT drivers globally.

Drove a 1 hour custom race at Spa.

It actually somehow almost came down to the wire.

AI in custom races is either much quicker than before the update or I’m much slower.

Or both.
You didn't want to attempt the 1M credit rain race?

Today I....

After 12 races I finally won 1.

I learned the best way to win after so many loses is to get a good run on the last turn and do your best to block the AI and hope they don't go 2 wide on you.

Reply of the final moment.

I love this race so much.:)

Ran a 30 minute Gr 3 BoP race at Interlagos with the Citroën GT. It feels heavy on the longer turns, but I just wanted to see what it can do since I want to use the lesser used cars. After that, I speedran through IB-Master and got a dupe Peugeot VGT Gr 3 as a reward. Not that bad of a day.

It's NOT good to see the 3-star parade continue with 1.49. After failing to break 1:06.4 at the Eiger time trial on the GTP account, said 3-star Wheel of Despair puked out the 2nd-low-showing 10,000 Cr.

I was a bit annoyed that most of the Gr.3 cars went back up to over 700 PP, but two of them stayed under that; the VW VGT and the Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette. That helped out on the Plus account, where I did the Weekly Challenges:
  • Eiger Norwand in 4:27 with a highly-tuned Suzuki Jimny
  • Fishermans Ranch in 7:12 with a less-than-optimally-tuned Ford Focus Gr.B
  • Sardegna in 7:45 with a stock Lamborghini Gallardo (I didn't feel like spending money to upgrade it)
  • Interlagos in 11:12 with a stock Ferrari FXX K
  • Laguna Seca in 15:39 with a stock Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette (on a FM 5 no-stop strategy)
The 4-star workout ticket was still the low-showing cash prize, but at 500,000 Cr., it was the 2nd-highest possible. I also am ready for the return of the last car I need to complete the collection, the Ferrari 330 P4.

I only did 7 daily races this morning and last night, took 3-4 car scapes, and finished the last event in the weekly challenges, which was the WTC 700 at L. Seca. And did some practice laps at Eiger in a couple road cars.

Edit: Wow, I have accumulated 555M in credits in a 19-20 month period.

Try all noon to win Road Atlanta race 600pp on hard difficulty.
At the end managed two wins but .......Bayless and Haywood wasn't Infront both.
When Lampo and Ruf are Infront its impossible at least for me me .
7.20 wasn't enough since they can do 7.17 !!!!

My car was a Subaru 98 the new one and i can do 27's and 28's with it .

I finally grew some balls and tried driving manual with the controller. Idk why I never thought to put the shifter on R3. It feels more natural than I thought.

After 1.49 and the new physics made my attempts to get quicker at Spa in the daily races kind of impossible, i took the chance to switch from AT to MT while getting used to the new pyhsics. Took me not as long as i thought, so i started my personal project "grind at Le Mans and collect all Group 3 cars with all types of racing tires". Today i finished this, now the same for Group 4 :-D

Spent 20mins running Eiger TT in the Scooby it's impressivley grippy for a rally car 7% off the fastest time. 600pp at Michelin Raceway in the Honda ra7, 13 second win.
10k from the lottery.

Today was good fun session with little drama or bad plays to say the least.

Firstly, collected my 1mil for the Ferrari Tokyo TT, thankyou will spend that nicely.

Second, tackeld the new TT's with the Rampage and GT3 cars. Got a good rhythm with the Scooby BRZ GT500 car.

Then started working on tuning up my Gallardo, it was orignally yellow but gave it colourshift wide body look and tuned to obver 1032bhp and mega wide racy bodykits to boot. This car unfrtunaly has the same issue as the BMW M3 at high speeds it veeers to the left and crashes, happened on the weekly challenge race and SPecial staeg route X after a shakedown.

Moved onto Daily Race a which was very fun, qualify 5th and then lead the race for 7 laps, fumbled last corner onto lap 8 and jus clawed my back to 2nd with alot of bump pushery going on with the Alfa 8C muscle cars! Good fun race though. Happy for result.

Did then Daily Race B and that was fun also, much more competetive in the new update than ever before but held my pace against the tirade of Porsche 911 RSR's abundunt all over. My Aston was going strong, I finished 8th overall. Qualified 11th so yeh not bad!

Getting ready for the Honda EMS races and the Round 4 at Nurburing GP track for the GTWS MC Round 4 on Sat! LFG!

Yesterday TT money from Tokyo. Red Bull ring TT in a Supra first lap a nailed on bronze, second lap more time facing backwards than forwards. Dirt championship at Sardinia 6 efforts to win the race all tight except the one where I flipped on the pit lane wall whilst 100yards from the end (I lost by 10 seconds). Won the race on go 6 in a Honda NSX.
Wheel gave me a sports computer!

I got on before work this morning. I sold the 54 Jag so I would have enough credits to get the Daytona coupe. I bought some Pokal wheels (I think it was the DR5 or WR5) and painted the wheels to match the color of the Daytona. I took it LeMans to see how it runs and it is viable for that track I think I can get 3-4 laps @ FM6. I had to raise the the ride height because I didn't like the look of the Pokal wheels @ 15" so went to the 20". Anyway the little bit of time I had with the car was great. Fun car to drive to me.

I decided to redo all the missions and license tests I had previously done so I can get new gold times for the leaderboards, because I like feeling pain. But, at least I decided to focus on doing the most brutal ones first - of that category I just have Mixed Class Overtaking 1, S-3 and S-4 left. Then I can do the easier ones. I will say the new physics are overall a great improvement, after a week or so spent getting used to them.

Also bought a Lamborghini Countach LP400 with my Tokyo Ferrari TT money plus change. It's very nice.

Did a good session on practice racing and some of the weekly challenges. Had a good Looby race on Nurburgin Gp with sum good A+ S racers. They were quick but I kinda got a good pace and strategy down for tomorrow MCWS race.

Finished 6th overall with racers swattign liek flies near the end. Tyre compund choice is key here.

Enjoy pics!

On the GTP account, I started with the fresh Weekly Challenges:
  • Tsukuba Silvia Sisters in 3:16 with a max-tune (non-swap; 634 PP) Nissan Silvia S15, by a mere 0.2 seconds
  • Autopolis Japanese FR Challenge in 4:43 (by 2.9 seconds) with a stock 2015 Subaru BRZ S
  • Goodwood Special Event in 7:48 (by 1.4 seconds over the rabbit and 31 seconds over the field) with a Porsche 356 GS Carrera tuned to 527 PP
  • Willow Springs Neoclassical Challenge in 12:13 (by 8.0 seconds) with a stock Mercedes-Benz CLK-LM, changing tires on lap 5 (after finding my Porsche 962 C tunes too buffed to use; fortunately I had a Nations Cup CLK so I didn't have to burn my garage queen)
  • Eiger Norwand WRC Gr.B in 13:45 (by 3.3 seconds) with a stock Toyota 86 Gr.B Rally Car on a FM 6/no-stop strategy (only after many, many resets)
The parts ticket gave a stage 5 weight reduction for the Aston Martin One-77, which could use it, the car ticket gave a McLaren VGT (hung onto for tuning purposes), and the all-cash 4-star Wheel of Despair gave the 2nd-lowest-showing/lowest-possible 10,000 Cr.

Given the difficulty of the last 2 events (3 really, until I remembered there was a rabbit), I neither did the time trials nor a Plus run.

I did a lot today. This includes doing some more grinding on Hypercar Parade. I did one in my customized RUF RGT 4.2 '16, here is a photo of the rankings & a video I recorded of some of my gameplay that I uploaded onto YouTube. I also got another car with my Daily Marathon Tickets.

Been mucking about with some older cars I’ve picked up lately, and there’s so many gems to be found which are really enjoyable to drive at speed. The Mangusta, the Countach LP400, the Miura… Just some quick races in Spa, Goodwood and the Nordschleife. So fun. Nothing worth mentioning from the 3* lately.

took a few days off. Did the Weekly challenges.
  • parts ticket was a carbon prop shaft for my Nissan GTR 17 ( thanks - already have three )
  • car ticket was another Bugatti VGT ( already had two )

Improved my times on both lap challenges but i'm still looking at bronze. thats fine with me.

Ive been rooting around in my garage looking for cars that i havent used in a while and found a BMW M2 Competition model that I hadnt touched yet.
Gave it the full race trim and took it to LeMans. Easy win.
