Today I spent my gaming time instaling and testing a bunch of engines I had stored in my virtual garage.

Some were very good just out of the box with the most basic tuning changes, while others were nothing but a power oversteer and wheel spinning festival. These were sold right away and I kept the ones I liked the most so far.

The Silvia S13 '88, the Supra '88, the Civic Sir eg '93 and the Porsche Carrera RS '92 (with a 959 engine! 😱) were the ones I kept.

I sold these: Toyota Tundra, Toyota 86 GRMN, Pontiac Firebird, Nissan Skyline '73, Fairlady Z '08, Nissan 180SX and the Mazda Roadster '15.

THAT IS AMAZING, it is the distance from Charleston SC Airport to Roswell NM ! ! ! ! 1,584 miles to Roswell to be exact, I live in Charleston SC.

the current Cannonball run record is 25 hours 39 minutes for the distance of 2,816 miles.. something of a challenge i feel is coming here soon....

Well today was hit & miss, some bad daily races, chaos at every Daily Race A I did every single time, tried the Genesis VGT Racer in that and almost got rhythm before being divebombed by a racer.

Did the weekly historic masters race with my Red Corvettte c2 was very fun hooning this around!

Collected my 1mil for the VULcan TT so thats nice. Unlocekd some roullette tickets and narrowly missed out on getting the Ferarri Invitation which I need badly.

As it was Thursday, and I hadn't done the Weekly Challenges on the Plus account yet, I did so:
  • Nurburgring European FR Challenge in a dry 4:51 with a stock Ferrari 365 GTB4
  • Willow Springs Historic Sports Car Masters in an "unclean" 7:56 with the same Ferrari 365 (after a single reload to avoid the Lamborghini brigade; I have no idea where I lost the CRB)
  • Kyoto Special Event in 8:48 with a Honda S660 tuned to 400 PP
  • Dragon Trail Hypercar Parade in 9:33 with a stock Ferrari FXX K (made it to the finish before the track got too wet)
  • Autopolis WTC 800 in an "unclean" 18:30 with the same Ferrari FXX K (no-stop strategy, FM 6, again I don't know where I lost the CRB)
The parts ticket gave a turbo for the Bugatti Veyron, the car Wheel of Despair puked up a Daihatsu Copen VGT, and the 4-star workout Wheel of Despair gave the low-showing 30,000 Cr. I then began to clean up the content added last month, buying the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII, 2024 Nissan GT-R, and Toyota Hiace, and collecting the high-showing/lowest-legal 500,000 Cr. from the Audi Extra Menu 6-star Wheel of Despair.

I stupidly tried to finish the Evolution Meeting. Because the AI likes to get caught in the corners and the dirt physics still blows, it took hundreds of miles worth of restarts to get a win in 6:24 with an Evo IV tuned to 537 PP on dirt tires.\

Even on SS tires, it was too slow for Monza, so I took out the Evo IX I max-tuned to 687 PP. The insult...er...resulting 4-star Wheel of Despair puked up a Ferrari invite.

I just finished my second season of costum championship. I whish that polyphony fix the tyre issue with the garage cars. In case someone will watch them I edited them to a cinematic highlight video booth season's.

An hour of highlights?~! Nice I really wish replays were played during the idle loop so things like this could be seen by all the players. It would be great to have highlighted replay snippets up to 5 or 10 mins just be seen in game when idle.

It would be the idle Racing News Network show to have playing in the dentists waiting lobby.

Thank's. Yes I did 8 races in the second season and edited them to like a highlight movie. Just a hobby and I like to creat my friends and family to race against in GT. Did you play Gran Turismo 3? There was like a demo replay in idle with various cars and races.

The Gran Turismo 7 idle loop race generation is great! Absolutely fantastic, but they need to keep adding "configurations" for more variability to the idle loop race generation and seeing other's replays during idle loop would also be so so good!

Today I took another engine swapped car to Le Mans. This one I already had tested at Tokyo WTC 600, so I made some adjustments and put it to the the test at said WTC 700 race.

This Corvette C4 is a typical case of love and hate. When I first drove it in the online time trial at Dragon Trail, I hated it. As time went by I got used to its quirks, then got a new engine for it and I started enjoying this ride more.

Sunday morning and I hit Le Mans WTC700 with an engine swapped car once more. This time, the Audi TTS '14.

The best part of the session was the gift given by the despicable wheel today. An Aston Martin invite. The first in over two freaking years playing GT7 (!!!!)

I immediatly bought the two cars behind this invite. Now I have 8 brand central cars (that I can buy at anytime) to hit 100% car collection.

Edit: Sunday evening and I've just finished buying the last cars I needed. The very last car was the Honda 2&4.

Can you post your setup on the C4, because when I swapped engine i got the ⚠️PP and could not do WTC700 because i cannot have race tyres or I get the PP warning.

Not a pro tune, but a basic one. Engine swapp, weight reduction 3, wide body, increased rigidity, racing transmission, racing brakes and pads, racing clutch.

I got the suspension stiffened up, set the gearbox final to 310kms/h (didn't change the gears individually) I use the UCM down to 70%, and ballast up front (25) with 83kgs to get a 50/50 weight balance. Muflers and silencers I'm still messing up with, to get the better engine sound. LSD is the stock one.

All of that gets me a 688pp, 478hp with 1,246kgs. For Le Mans WTC 700 I ran FM6 (3 laps).

There's room for more power if wanted or necessary, but for my taste around 480-490hp is good enough. That way the car doesn't want to kill me. 😁

Edit: I intend to change ride height back to 105, because sometimes I have the impression the tyres are touching the body car while under breaking and the car deviates itself to the left.

I thought it was about time I did more circuit experience. In addition to Circuit de la Sarthe I also completed all the circuits in Asia Pacific excluding Tokyo. Tokyo is gonna need its own session. Beyond that everything is gold.

Obrigado

Got hit by an Idiot Spaniard (3 times) who doesn't know how to use his brakes. As a result I hit the guy in 1st place, got a penalty and a negative SR rating.

Seriously PD, can't you sort this crap out?

And whilst on the subject... the Route X Nations Cup at the weekend was also a joke, big time! Since when is bump-drafting bad sportsmanship? Well, according to PD, it is and your SR will suffer as a result. Go figure.

I bought a LC 500. My second one. I got it after using a stock one in the WC. I forgot that it had an engine swap so I did the engine swap and set it up to do the LeMans WTC 700. So at FM6 I can get 2.5 laps with short shifting so it was three pits stops for the race. The Lexus is very quick with the swap. Got light rain so I had to run 7 laps. Got a 4 ⭐ 🎫 but I didn't get the chance to open it yet.
