Just did the normal thing ie. Grinding. Normally I slow down to make sure I don’t do extra lap but now wanted to push and lap some drivers

This is from Thursday but I did the LeMans grind race with the W196. It was a weird race I ended up putting 4 times! It started raining at the end of lap 1 so I went to wets. It wasn't very hard so I pitted on lap 3. A patch of heavy of rain came through on lap 4 so I went back to wets. The rain let up on lap 5 but I wanted to try to get to the end of the race but the tires were worn out by the end of lap 6 so I pitted once last time to finish out the race. For some odd reason every time I use the W196 at LeMans I get really crazy weather. Got semi racing muffler for a 3 ⭐ 🎫

i did 700 lemans where there were a couple of cautions on the final lap one of them was perfectly timed to the point i finished when the time ran out. one caution was due to couple of ai spinning out causing a 3rd to back up i had to stop for a second to avoid losing the clean race bonus the 2nd one was Portilla hitting Heywood like a wrecking ball.

Completed the weekly races with the 800pp race at Dragon Trail. Used the Sauber Mercedes C9, getting used to driving with 0 traction but only had 3-4 spin outs! Managed to win first try. Then went to Nurburgring 3 lap race 800pp with the legendary Kaz driven GTR NISMO GT3 from 2013 (nostalgia) the sounds are so awesome in that car! Got 2nd place, car was low on power (716pp) but had a blast smacked a few walls and learned some corners, had a great time! What kind of fuel are they feeding that GR Supra haha It was one of those days where I’m not frustrated with GT!

On Friday I completed the weekly challenge races and as a reward I got a chaparal VGT. Sold the ugly thing right away. It felt like a waste of my gaming time.

On Saturday I drove the Ford Roadster on Nurburgring, testing both an engine swapped car and a upgraded default engine car. And that's another engine swapp tested and discarded.

My Sunday gaming time has been reserved for Nurburgring laps for a while now. As I had limited time today, I skipped the tuning shop part and went to the track with a fully stock Honda Integra '95.

And what a nice ride that is! Even in stock form with comfort tyres. I had a good time, but forgot to save the best lap replay. I'll come back to it another day then.

I added the car to my favorite cars tab and a 6 stars ticket gave me 500K for my time.

did a 10 lap gr 1 race at high speed ring an ai sandwich causes a 2 car wreck caused one of them for some reason to back up at 1 mph for 10 seconds before the game resets them

Play around with some settings on the Shifter Kart in an attempt to make it more accessible. Naturally that meant making it slower, since there aren't that many variables to adjust.

Initially I wanted to target around 440PP, which is what I would expect the 100 SPL to achieve if it was in this game. When I brought it to Streets of Willow, it felt a bit too slow, so the power was bumped up and the ballast reduced. 47:53 balance is a personal preference, but I also felt it would support more driving styles than the stock 45:55.

Rounds out pretty nicely at 500 PP, though it might not ever see any actual use in a custom race or lobby.

Last night I made a quick login to just buy 3 cars. A Corvette C1 in black tuxedo and the 2 Porsches 911 (930) avaiable in the UCD.

No gameplay though.

First time driven with a Fanatec DD, and first time with a wheel at all.
Picked one of the slowest and easiest tracks to get my first feel on it: High Speed Ring in a Mazda Demio on the 400pp race - now that was not a problem and funnily enough I beat my controller record 🤣
Picked one of the faster cars on the other easiest tracks (that on controller required a very delicate touch to not get lost): SSRX with the engine swapped RCF, that was much smoother than on controller, no sign of slipping.

Now into the real challenge: any other track that has more to offer than almost driving on its own and see myself miserable failing as if I have never played before.
