What does a car say about its driver?

American cars: gluttonous and clumsy.
Subaru: boxer engine is a pain in the ass.
Mazda RX-? : rotary engine dies before you drive back home.
BMW 7 (E32 and E38): gangsters, the same about Mercedes W140.
Toyota Mark II: wannabe-drifters

Knowing from experience:
Delorean: Back to the future know it all (not nessisarily a bad thing)

Van: rapist, or blue collar worker.

The Car scene in da' Hood (100% acurate)

90's impala with 22's: Wannabe gangsta
70's impala: Real G
Land Rover Discovery with 22's: Drug Dealer
Bentley Continental w/ 22's: Rich kid wannabe gangsta
Rolls Royce Phantom w/ 22's: Big Boss
Any Donk: Somebody with an extreme phobia of floods

This is why I can't spot any nice cars... The roads are full of these :yuck:

I'd argue that it's not the fuel, it's the size. A small diesel truck isn't going to attract the same attention as a dually Ram Power Wagon is.

True, but you really can't get a "small" diesel truck over here anymore. The 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks are what the majority of people think about when someone says diesel truck (in America, I'm sure that isn't the case in the rest of the world where diesels are offered in just about anything) hence the stereotype.

German saloon with blacked out windows - Eastern European.

Says the owner of one

Of course, I know from personal experience because of the idiotic comments I hear from some people (female Prius owners tend to be the worst) while fueling my truck up. :D

BMW: idiots in general.
Mercedes Benz/Lexus - old people cars, except AMG and other.
Mostly honda but japanese cars in general - ricers.
Hummer/X6, X3 and so on - no brains, big ego.

<20 year old 4x4/SUV - absolute :censored:wit, or dimwit housewife
Audi/BMW - arrogant, poorly skilled, generally foreigners
Commodore - bloody morons for the most part
soft roaders - like the first category but with an inferiority complex

That's just based off where I live.

Lexus - Boring people
Audi - Tailgaters
Muscle Cars - Americans, or people who think they are Americans
Peugeot - People who can't drive
Jaguar - Golfers
VW - Sensible People
Mercedes - Business people
Extensively modified compact cars - Chavs

By that logic;

Ford Granada
Police chief with agressive stance to criminals, a loud voice and a catchphrase

Volkswagen - couldn't afford the Audi they really wanted, still drive like they had an A4

Skoda - couldn't afford the Volkswagen, claim to have done the sensible choice, still drive like they had an A6

Seat - couldn't afford the Skoda, claim to have chosen it because it's sporty, still drive like they had an A8, "out of the way you maggots because I have a German premium car"

At least that's how it goes over here. The cheaper the VAG thingamajic is, the more its driver could use a healthy amount of attitude fixing.
