What don't you like about GTS? From the beta

Well the graphics is something that will come together with release i think.

I have allot of problems with the controlls/physics i cant play smooth without a strange breakout that is impossible to correct. I want to like this game and think that its just a beta but POLY need to react on some things. I dont wanna switch but had allot of fun with Forza 6 and i dont wanna switch to xbox.....

Just want a good race game with controller on PS4 is that so hard thees days to give??

GT Sport isn't out but it's pretty clear from the Beta there will still be no tuning file setups that you can download from other players directly in-game.
It's too much hustle to get the setups info from forums (with the wrong units by the way, since most of the players here use imperial....)

For those saying that they find lacks in the game, especially with car models (everyone wants to see more) just remember that the game is still in progress and that you are testing the BETA version of it.

So far I have enjoyed the GTS experience.
I don't like the ghosting of the other racers.
I don't like that I'm penalized when I get run over by other drivers.
I would like my fastest time to still be posted if I go out of the room to make an adjustment and return to continue my testing.

Things I don't like so far:
H Shifter doesn't work properly.
Lack of FFB. Cannot feel front wheels lose grip.
Constant server connection errors.
HUD too cluttered.
Cannot find any option to turn the HUD off.
When HUD on, the rev meter only shows a very limited range, and cockpit rev dial obscured.
Music. Turned that off quickly.

That is why there is the feedback
All your wishes and thought can be shared with Sony in order to make GT Sport even better.
Another reason why BETA is here.

I've got a big problem. when a car drifts or spins out. there are no tyre marks left on the track surface. secondly when drifting or when you spin out there is barely any smoke coming from the tyres.:banghead:

Yes, I know there's another thread for "the good" but I am going to list both "the bad" and "the good" here.

First, it's awesome to be immersed in/excited about GT again.
Second, it sucks that it takes PD so long to develop new installments.

The Good:
I don't know if I've ever be as genuinely excited as I was when I found out I had pole position at the Nordschleif. Then I won the race. I never really thought that would happen... and that moment you realize you're in 1st and have a chance to win, it's a pretty remarkable/memorable feeling... didn't think you could get that from any game. So, I have to hand it to PD, that was the most fun (and gaming satisfaction) I've had since finishing that crazy Mission 34 in GT4:cheers:.

Willow Springs looks awesome. Love those balloons.
The Ring looks great. Can't wait for some enduros with variable time/weather.
Cars look great.
AWD cars are easy and fun to drive.
I absolutely love the challenge of qualifying for a good grid spot and I love the suspense of waiting to find out where you ended up on the starting grid.
I like the random car awards. Keeps you coming back for more!
PD fixed the annoying and overbearing tire-squeal that plagued GT6

The Bad:
Few, if any, vintage cars.
FR cars are too difficult to drive and tune. If you want to win, you'll probably have to choose an AWD car.
Original locations. Who cares? I prefer real-world courses. Can't believe PD wasted time developing imaginary courses.
Agree that the Sportsmanship Rating system is too punitive and that it should be able to distinguish between accidental contact and intentional ramming.
Agree that the other new locations/tracks are a little underwhelming graphically, but I'm assuming that we'll be able to choose the sky and lighting conditions which will make those locations/tracks more interesting than what we're seeing now.
The Sounds are not that different than what you heard in GT6. The Focus sounds especially leaf-blower-esque. Other cars sound OK, but would have expected PD to have done more, given how long it's taken them to get this far. Somebody at GTP needs to make a leaf-blower emoji.

I don't like having my SR trashed by controller/pad users.
The game still gives too much built in aid for them.

A whole lot of them are incredibly good drivers, ... but the majority of them are leaning so heavily on the driving aids in order to be fast,
then they are dropped in, darting back and forth like tetras in a fish tank, racing with folks who are there to race clean,
and it is incredibly frustrating when they Grand Theft Auto bash & mash their way through a group of cars that were otherwise having a good fair race.

Two kinds of player should always be more than welcome to play this game online.
Those who care about SR, ... and those who don't really care about SR, but just want to have fun.
Being mixed together in the same race, though, is weird.

I wish I had the simple choice of selecting an "SR Lobby".
Maybe the room log-in could have a button to select which kind of racing is fun for you.

Can't wait for private lobbies. As a beta, it seems to be a good shell of a driving game.

*(edit: I think the Beta being free of cost, to a great extent, has something to do with the prevalence of poor quality driving in races .... Once people have to pay to play, it will weed out a lot of the ones that have been ruining good competitive racing.)

Tonight wasn't bad. I qualified OK for the N300 events at Big Willow but skipped the races just because it was dinner time. GT4's at Dragon was nuts, but I decided to drive conservatively for SR. After last night's disaster I recovered to 44 tonight with 3 GT4 events at Dragon and the 3 GT4 events at the Ring. Main difference tonight was that when someone came blasting up behind me out control, they ghosted through and hit the wall on their own- 2 thumbs up! (Hey, you're listening! Thanks!) I DO NOT NEED ANY MORE GT3's! How about some N300's? I need a TT or an STI. Ditto GT4's- the front of the GT4 field looks like a GT-R Cup race. I also need a strategy for surviving the turn 1 scrum without giving up the qualifying spot I struggled so hard for- rolling starts would be a good fix. I'm still beating the match-based-on-controller drum. It's not that I don't love you Dual-Shock folks, I just don't like driving next to your twitchy selves.

Have you all made posts and put the above suggestions/feedback/criticisms on the GT Sport official beta forums otherwise they will never know about all this feedback 👍

Duty done! I added my personal findings to the Playstation forum. They are welcome to free up my place in the beta and give another player a try instead 👍

I find it works everytime by following the direct link they sent in the email, it seems to work for me. Otherwise you can go in on the PS4 itself via the beta game and following the link in game. 👍

I am with ps4 pro on a 4k tv and on the replays i see the front- and taillights flickering from the sun. I know its only the beta...

Can someone tell me why No events are available, has something changed?
I turned off my Ps4 one hour ago.
Since then races were available.
Only 1 online race was available at Nurburg.
The other 2 would be available tomorrow but you can still do sime time trials.

The SR thing is utter crap, I've had it gone down from 14 to 7 in one race filled with idiots driving like it's Destruction Derby. With collisions both cars get SR penalty and the worst part is they manage to get ahead with their driving too.

Netcode overall seems to be terrible tbh, I've seen cars go from sliding out of the corner to *poof* spawn in mid-air right in front of you. Most of the cars are jumping around the track and it's near impossible to get around them safely. I suspect they only have servers in the UK as to Sony that's "Europe", in the Netherlands I get a ping of 110. On Rocket League for example I usually have a ping of 6-12.

As with any game I just hate the multiplayer bits, usually that's because most people are annoying idiots but in this case the networking and terrible driver ratings/penalties crap are reason enough alone. I'm just hoping the career mode and other single-player aspects are good enough.

I know I am really nitpicking here, but does anyone else think that people look out of place because they don't cast a shadow? I find both spectators and marshals dont look natural during replays. Especially the Sardegna rally track.

Yep, they look like they are floating without shadows. They probably did that to save some resources.

Same happened to me as well. To increase my SR and get back on track with normal drivers I started at the beginning of a race to wait until I'm last position and than drive relaxed behind to observe the carnage until the race is over :). This way you get your +SR when you pass a checkpoint and don't have to care about the idiot kids in front. Driving normally in the lower SR rating is pointless as you have no chance to increase your SR while driving in between those morons.

Let me cut mine off and see what happens. Thanks

I'm in the UK and get a ping of 122, so I suspect the UK is not the location of them.

I get an average of 25 with AC and have a 200meg connection and my PS4 is wired. I'm also getting the exact same issue with cars jumping all over the place.

Does AC have dedicated servers or P2P? makes a big difference in ping

What I don't like is that:
- Cockpit view (the only view I play in) is too dark in most cars
- SR system needs reworking and adjustment
- Lack of tire marks takes me out of the realism
- The Vision cars...does anyone even care for their inclusion? I don't.
- Twitchy cameras when looking around in cockpit view. When trying to look down at drivers feet, the camera snaps to rear view much too quickly.
- The lack of a proper antialiasing solution makes the game look a bit rough at times.

All nitpicks because overall I really like the beta.
