Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered - Sure, these remasters for games that aren't really all that old are strange, but it's one of my all-time favorites and now it looks better, so why not?

Metro Awakening (PSVR2) - Loved the Metro trilogy for the atmospheric exploration and horror aspect so experiencing that in VR is fantastic.

In the end the Digital Foundry coverage of the HZD remaster convinced me to upgrade (via Steam, only about USD$6.5, as the exchange rate is favorable to me). Installing the software to sign up the PSN has been a pain, but I think the latest Windows update is to blame for that. And yes, it was my favorite game of last year as a newbie PC builder.

The price to upgrade is a very fair price, I think. Maybe it's still a hard sell to some because the original still holds up very well in the graphics/performance department, but the improvements make it worthwhile since it's more than just updated textures and lighting as the DF video shows. I am stunned by the details in the environments now.

Compared to The Last of Us Part II Remastered which is not easy to tell the difference between the original and remaster and had a similar $10 upgrade price if I recall.

Dusting off Spider-Man Miles Morales to get the Platinum for it. Its the only one of the three Spider-Man games I have yet to get the Platinum for and I need something productive (well, as productive as playing video games can be anyway) to distract my mind a little after this week.

I completed the Black Ops 6 campaign, and I was surprised at how good it was. The story is kind of weird for a cod game but they got really creative with it this time.

Zombies is round based again so that's nice, the previous open world mode was pretty much just DMZ with zombies.

My biggest pet peeve about multiplayer is the lack of headshot multiplier. It feels really weak or just non existent for most of the guns, you might as well just go for the body with smg's, ar's and pistols.

I reconnected my original PSVR to finally finish Rescue Mission and get a bit of exercise with BoxVR. Had another playthrough of Blood & Truth as well, still my favourite VR game. A travesty that it never even got a port and the studio got canned.

Yesterday I started with Alan Wake Remastered.
After Silent Hill 2 Remake, this is childish title if comparing them.
But I like the game, it has it's own setting that is dark adventure.

GT7 as always.

Apex Legends, but just against bots.

The newish Pokemon mobile game.

Finished the BLOPS 6 campaign which was excellent.

Reeeeeeally looking forward to Stalker 2 and Flight Sim 24. Almost here now!

After finishing My Friend Pedro I picked, at random, another indie game featuring extreme sports, dual-wielded pistols, tricks, slow motion, a combo-based scoring system and letter graded performance (that I'm bad at) that I had played a few minutes of before shelving because I thought it was overhyped - or maybe it was simply that I wasn't instantly good at it?

That's right, I'm talking about Rollerdrome. And I'm still not great at it but I spent some time figuring it out and it is actually quite good after all. It is pretty much just My Friend Pedro in 3D though.

I went back and re-downloaded DiRT 4, as I had only really played it for the Landrush and Rallycross modes back in the day. I'm currently LOVING the rally content, and it even got me motivated to boot up RalliSport Challenge 2 again, so I'm in a rally mood at the moment!

Started God of War III Remastered yesterday. Awesome game 😎 Played Lies of P for 4 hours on Sunday to defeat one boss but got there eventually after dying 150 + times 🤣 GT7, FM23, FH5 and DMC 4.
You get an extra like for DMC 4 👍

I've normally got at least 10 dozen games on the go because I have a short attention span and can't complete anything (except simple puzzle games) I've started over 400 games and completed 44.
My latest go-to game is "The Quarry". I've got 5 hours in and am enjoying it.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Season One was on sale yesterday so I bought that. If I get through "The Quarry" I've got another 4 similar games to go through. "Until Dawn" is on my Steam wishlist but I prefer to play games on my Xboxes, not my PC.

If you want a challenge, this is the game to test your fighting skills.
