What games are you playing right now?

I've dusted off the old SNES and am playing Final Fantasy IV/II at the moment. I'm planning to go through all of the great RPGs again. I have Final Fantasy VI, Lufia II, Secret of Mana, Illusion of Time, Terranigma and Breath of Fire I and II on my agenda. Oh, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, as well.

Those retro gems actually pulled me away from FM4 and Skyrim. I'll probably keep playing that retro stuff in the near future. PS1 games would be next

I didnt go as far back as you, but i found out my little brothers still have my super giant oldschool Xbox. Went scavenging through the games and found Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic I and II. Loved this game so much as a kid, and even playing it now its tons of fun. Lots of odd glitchs though but its still an awesome game. Wish the would make another installment for the current gen Xbox, i would jump on that so fast.

I can only recommend to go back this far 👍

The games, back then, had their own special appeeal, I'd say. They just don't make them like they used to

I have been hooked on the ME3 co-op horde mode. I havent put much time into the campaign at all. Maybe 20 hours. In fact I messed my campaign up bad because I ended up doing some of the priority missions by accident without having high enough paragon. So my campaign is pretty much ruined anyway. So I will just finish it and restart a new campaign. My N7 rating for co-op is somewhere around 170.

Also played some Syndicate. That is a very fun campaign and very fun 4 player co-op.

If you're getting into the RTS genre, I'd like to recommend StarCraft I and II, WarCraft III and The Frozen Throne as well as The Lord of the Rings: battle for Middlearth I and II. All of them are great games, I'd say, far better than Empire Eart, at least.

Company of Heroes and the Warhammer: Dawn of War games are also quite good 👍

I'm currently getting back into RTS games. Empire Earth, Command and Conquer, and so on.
I highly recommend Age Of Empires 3. That is the best RTS game I have ever played.

I am still hooked on the ME3 co-op. But I did take a break from the co-op and finally finished the campaign. Actually quite short. I took my time, did all the side missions, eplored everything, scanned all the planets, talked to everyone all in about 30 hours. Thats very short. Ending wasnt as terrible as everyone was making it out to be. But I still think the ME2 campaign was the best.

Well, I accidentally deleted my Final Fantasy IV main safe... I was like

Lost somewhat around ten hours of play time. And while the game is great, I didn't feel like putting the time into it again. At least not straight away. So, instead, I started playing The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. And some Metal Gear Solid 1. I'm just at the very beginning of those two games, though, as I started to play a wee bit of MienCraft too, which turned out to be quite addictive.

Whats so good about Minecraft? I hear about it quite often. Oh how i miss MGS. I want to pick up the remastered HD set so i can get to work on it. I remember playing the first at my cousins house whenever i would sleep over. That game has got to be one of my all time favorites. That being said I'm glad they brought it over to our system :D

EE! Me and a few friends would play that allll the time. When you have a big group of people it gets wild. Especially with the changes of alliances and what not. They used to think i was cheating because i once filled an entire lake with war boats haha. What i did though was just build a crap load of docks so i can make them all produce boats at the same time.

Did you play with LEGO as a kid? Minecraft is basically the same, just digitalized. It's very simplistic, really, but incredible fun to build the weirdest things with some friends. Or to play survival mode, which is basically like an RPG, with monsters and all. You even have to find food and such.

And you then start to build a home for yourself... A simple shelter at first, and after a while, you're reworrking the whole world you're playing in to your match your ideas. Minecraft is, basically, the epitone of an open world sandbox game.

That said, it's much like Skyrim for me. I'll play it for a while and lose interest all of a sudden and never come back. Much unlike games like Forza or those old RPGs, which I tend to revisit over and over again.

I'm currently playing it on my PSP, after I found out how to get it to work on there... My old PS2 is getting loads of disk read errors and I have to restart the game like ten times for it to load up :nervous:

But I can't think of many better games to play on the go. If I get around to it, I'll try to get Final Fantasy IX to work on the little handheld, too, and I'll be set

Well since February when I last stated what I've been playing. I can say it's definitely changed. I played GT5 for about an hour on Saturday. Then anything from there back to about mid February I haven't been playing any games at all. I think I've just got better things to do these days then waste time on a game.

Currently, I am playing F1 2011 for the third time. This time I am on an expert mode, totally without driving assists of any form and with full damage simulated on cars and condition.

Though having finished it twice as world champion already, it would be interesting to see how I am going to fair this time with those setups in mind.

I got into League of Legends a few days ago, when I watched a close friend of mine play. Friggin' great game, can't believe it's basically free! It's probably going to take a lot of my gaming time from now on. Or, at least, until I've got my copy of Diablo III up and running

Can't wait to get my hands on that, but until then, LoL will serve me well. Especially because it's one of the few games that works perfectly when it comes to online multiplayer for me, given that my internet connection is quite poor, most of the time...

I'm mainly playing Forza 4 these days but if any friends are playing then I go on GTA IV and we do races on there which usually end up as more of a war then a race, we block eachother, push eachother into objects and completely skip the checkpoints to crash eachother out. Then there is the odd game of MW3 survival mode and GT PSP which usually keep me occupied for a while.

The Witcher 2
After being really excited for this game, I rented it for a week and was quite disappointed. Clunky combat controls, no sprint, no fast travel, and the objective markers can be misleading at times. You dont know if they are above, below, or the same level as you. Story was great but I just couldnt get over the poor gameplay.

Kingdom of Amalur: The Reckoning.
This game is surprisingly awesome! Colorful graphics and scenery similar to Fable but deep RPG elements like Skyrim. They did everything right in this game. Its very very fun.

Gears Of War 3
Finally bought the season pass for this game and have been playing a lot of beast mode on the new maps. The dlc campaign that came with this is also very very good.

After awhile away from gaming I moved back in and purchased Richard Burns Rally. And it's godly, and frustrating. It doesn't save my setup so I have to configure the buttons whenever I run it. :grumpy:

NHL 09 PlayStation 2

A fun game with decent graphics and good gameplay. A lot of fun when you have big comeback victories. Example, playing with the New York Islanders and beating the New York Rangers 3-2 after giving up 2 goals on the first 2 shots. Scoring the game winner with 13 seconds left. Oh the rush

Prototype 2
Rented this. The exact same game and in NYC again. NYC. 👎

Rage
Rented this. WOW this game surprised the heck out of me. Graphically I would say it is in the top 5 best looking games on the 360. This game looks incredible! Gameplay is a lot like Borderlands mixed with a little Fallout 3 in a good way.

GT5
Finally finished up my B Spec mode 100% and my B spec level is maxed out at 40. All the events are finished including both 24 hour endurance races. The first endurance race killed our other PS3. So I was a bit nervous about trying the last endurance but the new PS3 did fine. I am thinking about actually playing some more of the A spec. I am only level 18 in A spec mode.

Battlefield 3
Been playing Conquest in the MP every chance I get. 2 more friends just picked it up.

Mass Effect 3
Still playing the 4 player co-op horde mode almost every day.

My Current Games, and ratings. On my shelf = good (On my shelf and I play it). Frisbee = suck (And will literally be used as a frisbee)

NHL 06 - Xbox
Clearly the development team was obsessed with dangles, and sweet spinorama goals. Goaltending was put on the back burner. On my shelf
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 - PS2
A shooting game. Pissed me off after the third mission. Frisbee'd
NHL 2K8 - PS2
One of the most fun hockey games out there, very, very realistic when you play on higher difficulties. On my shelf
NHL 2K10 - PS2
If my disc wasn't scratched to hell, it'd be a good game. Frisbee'd
Madden NFL 12 - PS2
A :censored:ton of fun. Rolling with my Redskins is quite some fun. On my shelf.

Sims 3
Actually threw this in again last night. Havent played that in 2 years but its so addictive and so much fun. Now my fishing skill and my guitar playing skills are both level 9. My character also makes over $400 per hour and owns 2 businesses which make $4,000 every few days each. :D

Mass Effect 3
Also working on my 2nd playthrough. Getting very close to the end again.

God, I'm getting way to focused on Diablo III, it seems. The game isn't even out yet, but I can't bring myself to play other games anymore. I'm looking forward to it that much that I'd rather spend my time reading up on D3 news than to 'waste' time playing any other game.

Tuesday will be glorious.

^ So is it worth the money? Haven't played Diablo in ages and wondering if this is going to be a let down or not.
