Yeah, because nothing says "overprotective parent" like flagging videos that violate copyright laws.

What I meant in my post was:
  • They flag videos with even minor swear words (e.g. bitch)
  • They don't flag copyright-raping [insert pre-teen girls' favourite singers here] videos that were filmed off a TV screen

They're the same people who complain about their kids playing M rated games when they buy them for their kids.

Idiots. They are.

GT_Prologue5

When I can't sleep.

Agree. Hate it too.

Game stores REALLY hate those people. Also...every Halo player over the age of 18 hates those people. Because of them, we get to be cussed out by 9-year-olds in the middle of the night. Seriously, there are times when I wonder if there is anyone over 18 actually still playing the Halo games.

Myself too, I f:censored:d up something really bad today. Then mom b:censored:d me out and said to be ready to go to military school, and that made me go to a place in my mind never existed and I uttered something. Something I thought I'd never say, I stood up to her. And I'm not backing down. She told me to get my act together or move. I said the second one. So there you have it. Mom's trying to be a controlling freak, and she is grinding my gears.

Yeah, mothers do that. I've had the same issue in the past, but at least we don't have military school in the UK to be threatened with. It will pass, don't worry about it mate.

Thanks DG_Silva. Today started off better. I know she's trying to help me, I just don't get why she does it the way she does it. Anyway back to the gear grinder at the moment, my English exam tomorrow.

Mine gets my temper too. I just ignore her whenever she rants uselessly, she always forces me and stuff when I have low motivation to do stuff... :indiff:

What grinds my gears now? The GT5 v1.10 glitch. I'm trying to get all the cars before the sale comes off but that just gets me. And that I got homeworks to do too...

Glitch?

What grinds my gears? Myself.

This kind of attitude grinds my gears.

If you can spend your time doubting yourself, why not using that time to improve yourself instead....

Heh, turns out I don't grind my gears, it's actually my mom, who talks to me in a way as if I should hate myself.

Obstacles my friend. Obstacles.

Same here.

Splinters -- got 6 by skating past a fence today, they're stuck in my skin and a needle wouldn't take them out so i've used disinfectant, heh.

The nookcolor. I spent 20 minutes yesterday setting an app for my mom. These need to come with a stylus for the situations where you need to tap small text from a app's website that you can't even zoom into. Makes me feel like not considering purchasing any type of touch screen phone.

Sometimes, get about 10 splinters a day at work, I've grown immune to most of them :D
If I can't pull it out, either cut it out or leave it there.

My latest gripe is girls of around 13 or 14 asking, "You wanna go out with me?" to me in the middle of the street. I'm 17. I listen to Linkin Park, Foo Fighters and the various incarnations of Moon Over The Castle. They listen to JLS, Westlife, Boyzone and Justin Bieber. They have zero appreciation for anyone with above-average intelligence. And to them, anyone who takes anything more than Foundation Level maths is above average.

(Just to tell you, Foundation Level maths is really simple stuff. Click here for an example of the exam for Leaving Cert students. The Leaving Cert is the final exam for 2nd-level (high school) students in Ireland before college.)

The majority of them will still probably fail Foundation Level maths.

My grandfather has that effect too :D

What's grinding my gears at the moment are the pictures everywhere of girls doing duck impressions.... It doesn't look sexy or alluring, just makes you look moronic....

! Dumb people grind my gears. Like people who never go to classes and then wonder why they're failing.

And yet they keep copying homeworks and stuff, calls you with other weird names instead of your real name, cracking corny jokes...

Them and parents are major gear-grinders. And a principal that uses old-fashioned rules for the school.

The anxiety before my math exam. Trigonometry and Quadratics. Just hearing those words makes me tense up.

^I can't watch the video in this country but am I right to guess they're chav scum? They grind my gears too and I'm thousands of miles away!

Exactly right.
They are the most arrogant, horrible, and disrespectful people on this earth.
