Murcie_LP640Gave The Cereal Box a good clean-up and started suggesting wheels for my dad's '08 Accord Euro. Any opinions? The wheels he really wants are O.Z. Racing Botticellis but at $1391 for just a single wheel it's pretty much out of the question. He wants 19x8.5".

Not mine, but ordered one like it.
Sparco 325, except I got a leather one.
Based on the design of those wheels he wanted I'd advise you to look in an Advanti Racing catalogue, they are full of wheels of that kind of design, and cover quite a few brands. Here is a link - note the a4 and a5 are similar.. And Advanti stuff is usually pretty affordable.

(Keep browsing through that site, the link is just one section)
Personally though I'd try and convince him to go with 18s, they'd look better suited in my opinion and you'd have a bit more cushioning to protect the rims when using it as a daily.
And then go with SSR SP1s![]()
Murcie_LP640I agree on Advantis but I'm 100% sure I won't be able to convince him to go with 18s...the Accord Euro already has 18x8.0s and he wants a size bigger in both respects.
I found him a set of wheels that are cheap and look good on the Euro but I'll also suggest the Advanti A4s as that looks like the sort of style he's going for.
Don't know if I want leather or suede though.
Suede goes better with most cars' interiors, imo, leather can easily look out of place.
Hmmmm looking at them I've decided Celica needs a new wheel. That one perfect's getting with the little yellow mark on the top looks great - in suade too.
Suede has more grip, but it's also meant to be used with gloves. With your normal hands, it has slightly more grip but gets wet and matted down after driving from your hands getting sweaty. And then, once the suede wears out, you're left with a leather steering wheel that doesn't look as nice.Is the benefit of suede having more grip? I planned to go with leather to begin with since suede is kind of uncommon and probably looks out of place in an otherwise stock interior.
Soft and pliable isn't exactly what you want in a bushing.Still soft and pliable.
Soft and pliable isn't exactly what you want in a bushing.
Well, yes, but hard and pliable would be more ideal. As opposed to dry rotted, hard, cracked? I'll take the soft, new feeling bushing.
