What have you done to your car today?

It's supposed to adjust the timing and air fuel mixture depending on the throttle input otherwise it just sort of has a base input. It's probably not a very good idea to drive around long with it unplugged, so I'm going to pick up a new one when I get more funds.

That's not coolant. Not the way to wash your windscreen either though.. :D I learnt the car how to take a piss, literally. Very funny when people are crossing the road in front of you, or when you're exiting the school car park.
My buddy's old Geo Metro had windshield and rear window squirters that shot like super-soakers. We started with the rear one. We turned it backwards, but we could only piss on cars when they were right on your rear bumper. Still made them make funny faces though.

Then we took the front ones and turned them sideways. We had an absolute blast, and that dude in Wal-Mart's parking lot had absolutely wet pants. Then a car pulled up next to us at a light and the passenger lady looked out at us. We pressed the button and the squirter plastered her right in the eyeball! Oh lawd. She put her hands up to block the spray, and was going "aahh!!!" and we just kept hammerin' on the button. Too bad they tailed us, and my friend ended up getting a ticket for it. Come to think of it, the cops caught up to us later that night after the Metro broke down...

Put the camry through some unnecessary abuse...

got two 6" 100w 8 ohm domestic speakers to replace the 6x9 10 ohm things in the bird, didnt want to replace whole system and these will do nicely :D not going to crank it up so should be safe with a tad less resistance :P right? :scared: just have to make up a plate for them to go on to, and solder the connector from the old speakers on and it should fit good.

I did some things to the van today.
  • Washed.
  • 2 new tires.
  • Oil change.
  • Cleaned interior windows.
  • Full tank of gas + Seafoam to clean fuel system.

I'm driving to Houston next week so I need the van to be in tip top shape for the drive. This will be the first trip I take in the van--so lets see if it is still a comfy cruise mobile. :D

It already had G-Force Sports on it? Really?

So, I'm going to have to come up with some sort of apology to my car here soon. Because earlier this morning (long night, hehe) I drove...a Volkswagen. Yes. It was an MK4 GTI, entirely too slammed (without airbags, because bags are for...), and rolling on enormous 18x8.5 Audi A8L rims. The guy has made himself skid plates for everything, and for good reason, because they skid on everything. I had to ask him "Is that normal?" more than a couple times on a very typical drive to get pizzas and back.

Besides the dents in the skid plates it was a pretty damn nice car.

I think you missed the whole front bumper, PB. ;) I saw a really clean hog-nose 240 for sale yesterday around here.

Front and rear bumpers need much work to even look decent. I need to sand it down and fill the cracks with bodyfiller and go from there.

Sounds like its begging for a Silvia conversion to me. ;)
A buddy of mine did a Silvia front on his car. Now he's afraid to practice drifting because if he wrecks it he can't afford to fix it. Mos of the other guys down here have garbage stock front ends that get ripped off, fly off, fall off, etc, and that's just what happens even when you're good. I'm not so sure those conversions are worth it unless you're monied or are parking it.

That's true...A friend of mine (who has an AP2 S2000) knows a guy around here with an LS1 240SX. And another friend knows someone with a RB25DET swap in one that he drifts in St. Louis. I don't know where I'm supposed to go meet people with cool cars like these, everybody here just worships Mustangs.:grumpy:

My friend "traded" the Flowmasters to me. He is getting the Racing beat ones Wednesday. The only thing it did was give give me a better bass note for my exhaust. Which isn't a bad thing IMO. :sly:

Also I noticed this:

That side has a cover and.....

This side doesn't
I can only think they did that for the night and you can see that side better when shined upon....:dunce:

I think I would cut the tips on the flowmasters straight.

Looks like the exhausts you see on every other truck or mustang.

Really?
He got them because of their slanted-ness, then he said I should just take them off and find some other ones but at the same time I like the finish on them. I think I should get mini quad four tips!
that way It can be a single pipe to dual pipe to quad tips!!👍:sly:
Idk, we will see how many comments I get on them.

Huh, I spose.....but then again not to many of those are gloss black....Perhaps a poll is on order....to be stock or not to be stock, that is the question.

Oh man Im totally baffled why i just tried a shakespear quote-ish, but its just that good.

At first I thought you were talking about the gas cap cover, lol me.

Yeah, angled tips are a pure American thing.

Anyways, I'll be receiving my birthday gift here in a couple days. My car is off to the shop right now for some body work.

Manifold-back exhaust.

Yeah. Everything. The cat, the downpipe, everything, even the muffler. Muffler was replaced with a Thrush Turbo, basically based on the Corvair Turbo's muffler design (and hence the name) but otherwise all production equipment.

Result? despite us needing a new manifold stud, (it's on order) it's much quieter. and I like quiet. :3

Installed a headunit (only the find the rear speakers are blown) got it registered, put tags on it, and drove it around. Finally. Still shifts bad, but it's drivable now.

So I got the cherry bombs installed on the Police Interceptor today. The car sounds amazing. I still can't believe how decent they sound. They got a nice rumble to them, very muscle car-ish sounding now. I also got pulled over today by the police just so they can search my car and find the wig wags and police sirens....I'll talk about that later.

I have not replied in this section since last summer. Currently I am working on Heathers dads 2004 Ford Truck. It has a lot more rust than a truck this year should have. The bottom of the driver door is totally rotted out and I will need to weld in new metal. I need to get all this done by this weekend. So I have a lot to do on it. Weld, grind, wire wheel, sand, spray Mar Hyde primer, sand, then base coat, clear coat, wet sand, then buff it all out.

After her dads truck is finished we will start working on Heathers 67 Fastback Mustang. I already bought a LOT of parts since last summer for her car including a front 11" slotted disk conversion kit including new spindles, master cylinder, brake booster, new 17" aluminum wheels, and a junkyard 302 for the V8 swap.

Replaced the wiper blades. Bought some Nu Finish Scratch Doctor just to see how well it works... it doesn't. Any recommendations?
