Nissan looks and sounds cooler, but I haven't actually driven one. But I'd say I like the look of the R89C more. 8)
Default settings the Nissan is better but costs >Cr 4M
But the Toyota is free.....
It weighs less and has more BHP than the Nissan after tuning them both.
B spec.
B-spec offline with tuned cars, you select the Toyota over the Nissan for easier win.
If you doing B- spec online, (after Psn back up) you want the PS3 AI to give you the Nissan as offen as possible. The Sauber driver will not be the fastest car then.
There is no such car as a Minolta
Anyways the 88C-V is better - just because you don't need to use 4mil on it.

If you search for Toyota Minolta on Wikipedia, you don't get anything. There is. Prove me wrong.
On topic - Toyota for speed, R92CP for looks.
Voted for Minolta.
The Toyota 88C-V is a slightly modified version of the 88C, adapted to fit Toyota's R32V 3.2 L (200 cu in) turbocharged V8 engine, instead of the 88C's standard turbocharged Inline-4.
Toyota MINOLTA Toyota 88C-V Race Car '89
And what do you find? Whole loads of GT-related threads, articles, videos and pictures - and I do know that "Minolta" is a very common nickname for the car.Wikis search engine just sucks

About what?@Zabidenu - prove me wrong.
About what?
Oh, rightThat just because the Minolta is free, it doesn't mean it is the better car.
Oh, right
From what I've seen - and I've driven both of them - IMO they are quite much the same (extremely hard to control) - and after all, it's just my opinion (I don't like wasting 4mil on a car that is extremely hard to control (and on top of it all, I'm bad at driving and I'm even driving with a DS3)).
sorry for this extremely badly written post, so I'll give you a TL;DR: I strongly dislike wasting alot of money on a car that I can't drive without aids.
You can call it whatever you want, no one's forcing you to call it the 88C-V.88-CV
And urgh, on a car you can't drive. I hope you know the feeling :SThat's totally fine if you don't like spending money.
I found this to be a bit easier to control but a bit more understeery. Guess I'm on the Sauber side tooSauber Mercedes C9

I think it's better to go through this with PMs and not flooding the whole thread with our off-topic conversationYeah I know what you mean.
And damn I got the name wrong.
Proven me wrong? Think again. If you search for Toyota Minolta on Wikipedia, you don't get anything.
If you search for "Minolta" in Google, you find a company making cameras
tl;dr
xX_F Alonso_XxThat's totally fine if you don't like spending money. I guess people prefer the car which suits their driving style. As I've said I like the R92CP over the 88C-V, but I'd rather have the Sauber Mercedes C9 over both of them.
i got all 3, the R92 is my favorite followed by the Sauber then the 88C-V, the sauber and R92 make the 88 sound mute.. theres something about the R92 that makes it feel pissed off
boredgunnerI have all three too as well as the R89C... for me it's R89C > Minolta > R92CP > Sauber. The R92CP is the fastest in a straight line but you have to be even more careful with the throttle. I don't know what makes the R89C better, my lap times are just best with it. Everyone is different and these cars really are quite close so prioritize the one you think looks best I guess.
^^^Of course I'm talking about the cars in a fully tuned form. Never driven them stock.
