Who is this man?
He arrived onto the political stage last year in a large campaign to persuade the people of Ireland to vote NO to the Lisbon Treaty. He succeeded as many of you are probably well aware. He is now launching a campaign to develop Europe's first all European party (Libertas) with over 300 candidates in most European countries. He says he is doing this for the good of the people, he wants the real issues addressed and an end to financial corruption.
However, what else do we know about him?
He is a millionaire businessman, owner of Nevada networks, which is a company that supplies many of the emergency telecommunication networks to the US military. Several Ex-US heads of military sit on the board of directors of that company.
And when asked, "Where did the funding for your Lisbon campaign come from?" He replies "I dont think the people of Europe really want that discussed, they want to talk about the real issues."
This man is highly suspicious. He and his party members lied to the Irish public about the Lisbon Treaty eg compulsory conscription to an EU army, harmonising of EU corporation tax etc all of which had nothing to do with Lisbon, yet a small majority of Irish people were nieve enough to believe him.
