What is the rarest car in the game?

What we should really be discussiing, imo, is the rarity of cars in certain colors. My vote for this would be for the AC Cars 427 in black/gold stripes. Over 18,000 game days and only seen it twice. Just a different perspective on this discussion of car rarity.

I just added a Zonda C12 '00 to my 1,500 car collection, and Wow, it flies with sensational grip on and off throttle, stock tranny , LSD 14/15/8, only default racing susp, cambers and toes at 0, (shift early, let the horses abuse the gearbox in mid RPM) downtuned to 505pp, by adding 120Kg of Ballast at +25 rear position.

can't wait to do 6:49s online with it tonight, on the Nur.

I have to repaint it though, right now it looks like a lovechild from a Starwars AT-AT and a Tie Fighter.

(I'll never see a ZZ-II in my UCD, never.)

The McClaren race car. Omg I waited so long to buy that car. I saw it maybe once buy couldn't afford it or cared. Than I got every other car and needed that one. It took months and months and nothing. Finally one day it was in OCD. Ironically it appeared in UCD a few days later just to piss me off lol.

Took several weeks off from the game - came back to it today - ran a couple of rings around Nordschleife in my Calibra Super at the DTM to relax back into the game - went over to the UCD, and Lo! and Behold! A Cien! That was only the third time I had seen it in near 6000 gamedays. I already have one - it's a blast at Indy doing the Ameri-muscle C'ships. So I grabbed it this time around. Nice to have two.

Since I painted the first one pink, anyway, and wanted to leave it like that; it's also fully modded. Now I have a stock version to torture. Fairly hard to come by and fun. Grab one. Or two.

Posted this before I started the thread. I now have the cars, but that Speed 12 is a rare car. I take back the Citroen GT cars now that I know where they are.

Two cars that I remember being hard to find were the Evo Super Rally and the Ford GT LM. I also bought my FGT before the OCD was added so that took some time, but not as much as either of the aforementioned. I'm pretty sure I have all the cars now (the GT was my last and took months to find) so I'm only going from my pretty terrible memory, there were definitely others but those two were likely the worst if they're the only two I remember.

I had 1139 cars before that thing showed its face. I had to stop grinding and finally do the 750pp seasonal then I went back through my licenses to get all goods and that's when the last few cars including that one showed up.... Worked for me..

I don't know exactly how many cars I have because the Playstation is turned off right now, but I have at least 1050 cars. But I've been lazy about the license tests and am only about half way through them. Maybe I'll give that a shot and see if that actually "unlocks" some of the rarer cars... it wouldn't surprise me if they had designed the game that way.

The problem with cars being rare in the UCD, is the space over there is always taken by the ones that are way to bloody common! I check the UCD all the time and rest assured, there's always gonna be at least 5 MX-5's and 5 fairlady's present haha.

Also i think the rarest ones are the ones you wouldn't really notice that quickly, last time around i found the concept version of the suzuki swift wich i never saw before since the launch date.

I got that the other day. I've seen it twice in the last few days, actually.

It's weird how you can go for hundreds of days and not see a car, then you see it multiple times in a short period of time.

Not really. Check out mygranturismo.net for the closest thing to rarity, but considering they all eventually cycle through, not really. The only really rare cars are the region-locked DLC which only select regions get, such as the Chromeline Jag or Edge Camaro.

And the carbon X2010 Thats soooo hard to get LOL and I have 2
