This is probably been asked in a differnt way but after driving racing games for a while I have always wanted that certian car that is in my reach...Not to expensive, not hard to keep up and just an overall great driving car...Mine is the 75 Ford Escort MKII....But me being in the states those things are hard to come by....Anyone else have a car they want but just haven't found it yet??

Pretty much between the C6 Corvette (a good Z06 is still a bit out of reach), early-mid model NSX, E46 M3, & the rare-to-appear-but-within'-range E92 M3.

Other than the WRX I already have, it would have to be the WRX WRP10, another special edition for the Australian market. However unlike mine and the subsequent Club Spec models that came after it, the changes are more than cosmetic.

Based on the 2005 WRX (Teardrop), the WRP10 was a 200-limited run that was created for Subaru's World Rally success (WR), Pirelli's contribution to said World Rally Team (P) and 10 years of involvement in the WRC (10). It featured an STi ECU and exhaust taking the power output to 175kW (234hp in the old money), lowered springs, an STi front strut brace, 5-spoke 17" RAYS wheels and 215/45/R17 Pirelli P-Zero Nero tyres.

But I already have my "obtainable" dream car so to speak. The beautiful SIC EM :)

Well, for me, it would probably be between some vintage JDM cars.

Datsun S30 240Z, Toyota Corolla Levin TE27, Mazda RX3... You get the idea.

It had always been an early NSX, with the 3.0l engine, in red, with the black interior, and most importantly the black top. Exactly like Acura used to display them at every autoshow back in the early 1990s.

But with a second child expected in the coming months, I might as well be shooting for a Grand Caravan...

Oh boy, too many to list! I've been fortunate to own a few of my obtainable dream cars through the years. Had a 68 Plymouth Belvedere 440 (Road Runner look a like-FAST!), 85 Mustang GT (brand new),68 Charger for 7 years, a 2003 Honda S2000, 02 Subie WRX and currently a 08 Evo X.

Some dream cars that I've come close to buying but didn't for various reasons are: BMW 2002, Datsun 240Z, 70-74 Plymouth 'Cuda, Evo IX and an early 70's Ford Bronco.

I'm not someone who drools over things I can't afford. Never had Ferrari or Exotics fantasies. At this point in time my dream machine would be a weekend toy-a boosted S2000. The joy of a convertible with the power to get into some serious trouble!

For the longest time it was always an early to mid 70's 'Vette (C3) but when I saw the new NSX concept, something clicked and now I want the slightly older NSX, royal blue just like:

Of course I can't seem to find one for sale, or even a site that sells just these kind of cars, so that might be a pipe dream *shrug*

Really obtainable would be a FC RX-7 turbo.

Reasonably obtainable would be an FD or lower-spec NSX.

Somewhat less obtainable, but still reasonable, would be a used Ariel Atom (my actual dream car).

It's a project sitting curbside. I have weird day dreams of taking our 4WD,2 door Chevrolet Tahoe. Slamin' it on C5 suspension T-56/LS swap. It would need be street legal and still haul kiddies, so everything CARB/CAL SMOG..

Wow....alot of different tastes.....I like the MGB idea...looked it up and that would be a great little car to shoot around town with....Which is what Im looking for.....Just wish I could find a Cortina for sale resnobale...

Probably my all time dream car would be my current MK3 Mondeo with a complete RS Cosworth conversion. Seen as it's predecessor, the Sierra, had an RS Cosworth model, why not the Mondeo? I'm hoping to one day build a Mondeo RS Cosworth, with a complete engine, drivetrain, transmission, suspension etc. swap, much like the Cosworth Ka. It's do-able, and it'll take a lot of blood, sweat and tears, and probably money too, but I still want to.

But in the mean time, if the dream car we're talking about must be purchased and not built, it would have to be the 1988 Ford Fiesta XR2, much like I mentioned in the dream first car thread. I'm not quite sure why I love the XR2 so much, but I just do. The wheels are very unique and would probably look terrible on any other car, yet I just love them on the XR2. It's not even that powerful, pulling out a mere 96 horses. I have fallen in love with this one in paticular. Everything is all original and it has very low mileage, and everything is spotless and clearly well looked after. I have a strange love for classic Fords, especially the early Fiestas.

A Pontiac Fiero that wasn't ran into the ground by some dumb punk kid. I love those little mid-engine Pontiacs. My dad had a red '84 & the speakers in the headrests were the ****. All of the ones in my area are in disrepair because idiots owned them. :(
