Catered specifically for sports/exotics/luxury cars.
Or if 40 is too much to be "obtainable," then I guess a '93 C4 ZR1.
They never made a Boss 9 with a Auto.. They are all 4 speed only, and well over 100k in price these days.👍
Of course you could make one.👍 But the engine alone is not really easily obtainable (or cheap).👍 Nice car though.
This with a rebuild 429ci Semi-Hemi V8 for low end torque and a different transmission as that Cruise-O-Matic is terrible when mated with this engine.
The thread tittle says obtainable dude. Please.
Getting a numbers matching Boss 9 really isn't that hard....just look around for a long time and eventually you'll come across it. No one ever said you had to be able to run right out and get it now. =P

Yes the price is rather high but it's definitely not "out of the question". THe price I said was the most they've ever gone fo. Like play said, most are around $80-$100k Which if you really think about it, over time that's not that tough to pay for. No one said we had to pay for it in one sitting, or as we speak, but therefore I think it's fair to say that it's an obtainable car.Dude. THE MONEY.
Yeah. I mean I know you can find them, but it's a different thing altogether being able to pay a real 429 is like, riiight... heck, even being able to pay JUST THE ENGINE is like riiiight...
That was back in the '80s.
