As long as you realise that there are rules against trolling a thread with lies and what the repercussions will be then you should be OK, I'm not sure what a moderator would make of it though. I'm not speaking on their behalf, this is just what I think.

Thanks.. Hey is the IPL g coupe fast? I heard it has 18 more HP than the infiniti g37 coupe.(330 vs 348)
 
Just found this thread, I got a 66 Chevy ll nova, with a 496 injected on alcohol , powerglide trans with a 5500 stall,5.14 gear and 33x16 slicks. So far the best run in the 1/8th is a 5.900 at 117.85

This was my previous car:

Full bolt in cam only on a 150 shot. 3200 converter built 4L60. 4.10 gear 28" tall tire. Auburn Pro. Stock axles. LoL I had the car leaving at 3200 and the spray come in on a window switch at 4000. So the car basically got load twice instead on one big load. This helped the car hook up on the street too. 1.4 60' 11.01 @ 121 have to look at Slip to be sure on MPH maybe 122.

Current Car: 2003 Evo 8 aka "F8L VIII"
FP Red Turbo, Small Cams, full exhaust, built trans with ultimate drag ratios, built transfer case with Posi diff. QM Twin disc clutch. 1150 cc injector on E85. Twin Pumper 255 in tank, car is not completely back together. Will be in a few months. Ran out of cash. LoL it's really close. Finish the piping and speed density conversion. Tune it and race it. LoL goal is 10.99. Similar combos go 10.5's all day. So realistic goal that hopefully i can achieve.

Previous times at track car was almost all stock power wise it Had cams and single disc clutch, exhaust, I added methanol Injection and retuned it after getting the car. Went 12.30's prior and got it down to 12.01@ 114 with a 1.64 60' on 18" reg tires.

Lol go to YouTube and type fastest civic drag ever and you will see a rwd civic dragging 7's... My friend showed me this it's so awesome

One day I am gonna man up and build me a purpose built drag car. Keep debating selling the Evo and doing Turbo LSX Fox Coupe or SN95 Cobra replica. Maybe 8's be the goal.

Was some local competition and my poor lil 4 banger family car was being thrown around with more track oriented cars. I had perverted thoughts of what I could build with 25g's if I really wanted to prove something. Truly at my point it's all about self gratification. Don't like my car or etc. no biggie. I got it cause I liked it. I make it faster cause I enjoy the speed.


Call it selfish call what you will. Its speed and g's, these are like drugs and We the users pay dearly to get the rush we desire.

I've been to watch. Was really impressed with the track. Clean, well kept, good food. Friendly staff. 1/8th isn't much my thing. However after getting below 1.5 60' times. I completely understand why people run it. It's the leave they want. Top end charge isnt nearly as awesome.

I do plan to make an appearance there in the Evo this summer. We usually hit 41 aka No Limit. Didn't even go to the track this year. Sim Raced. LOL terrible but cheap.
 
Ohh yeah, thats last batch of cars are off the hook! Very nice.... My car is Wild Violet and runs a ford 9" rear end for those that were asking :)

To all the Americans, i feel like you guys are lucky in terms of parts and prices... I buy most of my stuff from Summit Racing. Way cheaper than buying local delivered to my door.

However in the southern States and more recently Midwest 1/8th is the in thing.

Even the street racers are going 1/8th.

We got street cars that run 160-180mph traps in the 1/4 around Indy and Chicago. That's just insane to be attempting anything of a prepped surface with that kinda power. 10.5" tire cars too!!! But yea so the 1/8th is just safer. These cars are clicking serious MPH just in the 1/8th

Yeah lol I was kidding about the mods, but my dad really owns a 2009 Infiniti G37s Coupe (obsidian black) and my mom really owns a 2008 BMW 328i E90 (alpine white) with xenons and those Corona headlights

Nahh its a certified super comp car, its just where we live the only 1/4 mile track closed but we still have 3 or 4 1/8th mile tracks open.

Nothing like a day at the track... the sweet smell of race fuel mmmmmmmm

The big thing here atm is v8 twin turbo....
here is an example.... 2200hp 6.7 @ 210mph

I've seen that car on youtube for years now, and your right twin turbos are awsome. Look on YouTube at some of the ADRL races. 1/8 mile outlaw promods,only rules is safety. They run under 4 seconds and over 200 in the 1/8th.
