Just watched Doom. I suppose it's an alright movie, nothing special, it did have some annoying parts like towards the end when everyone started mutating - wtf.

I only liked the part with those freaky eyes in the dark in that sewer thing they were in...other than that, the movie was mostly forgettable.

I stopped by Target the other day after work and picked up:

• Groundhog Day (Came with a free avatar!)
• The Rock (I have this on VHS, so that copy is pretty much useless)
• Forrest Gump (2-Disc Special Collector's Edition)

All 3 were only $10.00 each, awesome! I actually went in to buy a new toothbrush.

I watched "Ghost Busters 2", yesterday. I bought the Ghost Busters 1 & 2(set) while ago, just to own the first one, pretty much. I finally get around to watch it and not only Ghost Busters 2 was better than I thought it was going to be(I was expecting garbage), Bill Murray's performance was one of the best I've seen!

How is it you saw Scary Movie 4 when it's not out in theatres yet? I wouldn't toot my horn too loud about watching pirated or otherwise illegal copies of movies around here on GTP...

I watched "UHF" and "Final Destination 2" over the weekend. UHF was just about what I expected. It was kind of OK. Michael Richards(Kramer from Seinfeld) made it a bit interesting. "Final Destination 2" was kick ass. 👍 "The" wreck scene was even better than I remembered. Just like the part I, it was still entertaining to watch the second time.

I saw "Weather Man", last week. It was pretty good for rental. I didn't think it was possible, but Nick Cage is starting to get little bit boring. Don't get me wrong, he is still above average on his "off" days. Michael Caine was absolutely top notch though. He was just so likeable in this movie.

This isn't a sequel to George Romero's "Day of the Dead", right?(I watched this on my DVD, just last week). Romero's "Day of the Dead" is one of my favorite zombie flick, but this "2" sounds interesting. Let us(or at least me) know how the movie was!

Some people class it as a sequel even if it is not done by here, and some do it as a in memory of Day of the dead. It was quite good not the best of Zombie movies, but it is better then the Resident evil movies.

That ******* movie kept me up at nights. I think it was for two nights in a row, I was woken by strange noise at "3 AM".

No, but I could swear something was playing with my blanket, right by my face........... I probably dreamt that part though. At least I hope.

Just rented Jarhead... Wasn't bad but the comercials for it were a little misleading from what the movie was really like. I liked it, but was disapointed at the lack of "action" in it... Not what I expected, but good none the less.

Also rented Waiting... A very funny movie, and that's comming from a guy that doesn't ever suggest funny movies to people. But if you've ever worked in a kitchen or restaurant, it's a must see. For anyone else, it's okay but you may not get some of the stuff in it, or the comedy behind some of the jokes... Look at my batwing b***h! It's got a bunch of great lines in it...

Also saw Walk the Line... A very good movie... Basicaly it's Ray, but about a white dude instead of a black dude... But a good movie none the less. The fact that they sing all of their own parts is pretty amazing.

I watched "Ray", probably like month ago, watched "Walk The Line" today. I thought the "Ray" was little bit better movie, but I liked "Walk The Line" better. Probably because of Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon, great performances. Jamie Foxx was superb as Ray Charles too though. 👍

As for "Walk The Line", while it's an alright movie, I thought it was tad boring in parts. They really messed up, when they made a PG13 movie about Johnny Cash, IMO. I felt that movie needed little bit of an edge.

I finally seen Jarhead. Overall a good movie, but it felt like a bad Full Metal Jacket rip off. Some of the characters were intriguing at first and I was interested in seeing how it all plays out, but nothing really happened. It felt kinda stale all the way through... still a good flick.

Watched Vendetta on Sunday Evening with some mates at the cinema. Has got an interesting story i must say but some things were taken too far in my opinion!
