I watched underworld last weekend. Lots of squandered potential in that movie. It was still entertaining though. But it was painful to see that they were on a very limited special effects budget.

Saw Pulse a couple days ago, when my mate rented it out guys. I was laughing a couple mins in because my mate goes, "Its too much work to read the subtitles" lol.

So many good movies has subtitles, I usually don't mind it. When I recently watched "Empire of the Wolves", starring Jean Reno, subtitles moved so fast, I ended up rewinding several times! Good thing I didn't catch it in a theater. Movie was very good. 👍

I remember watching Ring and Ring 2 the original ones from Japan, and they were great horror movies. Even if they had Subs, but Pulse is another great horror movie from Asia buddy.

It's been a fight lately. My girlfriend doesn't like to watch the movies with subtitles either, and I don't like to watch them dubbed. So when we rent some films we watch half of them dubbed and the other half with subtitles.

I should go more often to the movie theatres though, because all the movies there are subtitled (unless it's a cartoon, a children's movie or of course a Brazilian one). :D

Sounds like a gameplan. I hate dubs too.

I saw Thank You For Smoking on Monday and it was great. Very funny and good acting. There was a Q&A with Christopher Buckley afterwards not too interesting, though.

The Crying Game and currently Midnight Run both in HD. Both are great, classic flicks that shouldn't be missed.

"You two are the dumbest bounty hunters I've ever seen in my entire life! You couldn't even deliver a bottle of milk!"

I recently watched *batteries not included.

It's a great little film with many laughs throughout.

"Return of the Living Dead" was my first zombie flick. Still one of my favorite films of all time. Great, great movie.

just watched 24, season 3 in one go...think i could need a bit of fresh air now...
:ill:
I've seen Season 1, 2 and 3 on DVD. I liked 1 & 2 a lot better than the 3, but still took me at least few days to watch a whole season!

X5.
Recently watched Just Married, i suppose its an alright movie - nothing special.
its a chick flick...one of my girls fav movies

last night i saw the hills have eyes...great horror and gore flick. i actually jumped a few times and im not easily scared. so id recommend to anyone who is in the mood for a good horror movie

I saw Brokeback Mountain a couple days ago, and The Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe yesterday.

Narnia was thoroughly enjoyable, but Brokeback Mountain was easily one of the most boring films I've ever seen. Had it been about a heterosexual couple it would have been panned as one of the most contrived stories in recent memory.

I mean, I understand the whole point was that they were gay, but... it was so damned boring! The story just draaaaaagged and draaaaagged... Half-way through you feel like it needs to be wrapped up, quickly.

That's a fun film. I haven't seen it in a while.

The Reluctant Astronaut. One of Don Knott's greatest films.

The original?, or the new one in the theater?. I thought the new one was pretty good. It was pretty twisted, which was expected from the director of "High Tension".

I really want to see "Inside Man" and "The Reluctant Astronaut", but probably not the "He Broke My Mountain".... I mean "Brokeback Mountain". :D

It was an hour too long, the CGI could have been much better, it moved waaaaay to slow in some places, the dialogue between the black guy and Jimmy sucked, the girl danced for the big monkey, the scene with the bugs was too long and over done, it was incoinsistent in some parts, and where the hell did the dinosaurs come from?

The Blues Brothers scene was good, though.

I thought it was pretty good, but didn't like it as much as other people did. Definitely worth renting.

Sorry, double post!

Edit:
Vonie
the dialogue between the black guy and Jimmy sucked
It was bit cheesy, but I liked Mr. Hayes and Jimmy.

Vonie
and where the hell did the dinasaurs come from?
They've always been there. They just didn't dieout on the Skull Island. I really liked the dinosaurs and the bugs.

Watched, "Stand By Me" & "The Patriot" very good films two of my fraves.
