I wonder if Rush Hour 3 was any good. I really liked the first two.
I saw:
Fracture - Murder/Court thriller/drama. Rottentomatoes.com showed high ratings from both the (professional)critics and the members of the site. Pretty crafty and above average acting, but I didn't think it was anything special. There were few unbelievable moments that absolutely everything had to go in Anthony Hopkins(the murderer) way to put together this murder, and you just can't buy it. Other than that, everything was just OK. "C+"
I started watching the "Reaping". Hilary Swank plays a professor investigating this strange event taking place in a small town, deep in south, and it is very similar to the Egyptian plagues from the Bible.
It got something like 7% approval from the critics on rottentomatoes.com, and that's scarier than the film itself.
But from what I saw last night, it's actually pretty good. It must end pretty badly!
I think I've seen Dead Alive back in the days of VHS(!). I might have to check it out again.

I'm a fan of the director Boyle, so I loved the "28 Days Later". I was expecting more from the "Weeks Later", but it was still OK.Personally speaking, I liked the 28 movies a lot better than the Romero-style flicks. There is a bit more realism to it I suppose, which honestly makes it that much scarier. But truthfully, the Romero movies are fun just because they are so overwhelming at times... Dawn of the Dead (remake) being an excellent example.
I was watching TRS on Wednesday and they were talking about Dead Alive, one of Pete Jackson's first movies. I saw that a few years back and I kept remembering how awesomely disgusting it was. It wasn't scary, but it was gross, but it was a funny gross.

That's "four star", right? I thought it meant something else at first.**** film.
