I've got one of those, in that color too.

Cool, I'm using half the case from my old VX8300 because it's got a better clip (IMO), but I like the front of the VX8350 case better, so I've got them tied together :P

From,
Chris.

I have one of these:

I have one of these:
Same here; a big difference from the V180 I had. My advice is to never zoom with the cameraphone; it crops the image to a smaller size and poorer resolution. You might as well leave it on 1.0x zoom and forget about it., if you ever intend to look at the image on a computer.

I've got a Sony Ericsson K610im, its kinda basic nowadays but it has a 2meg camera 3g functionality and eh....it can ring and text people and it can receive calls and texts, it also doubles or quadruples as an alarm clock!

I have a Nokia N95. Got it for free so I can't complain...except the battery life is like 2 days when it's on standby most of the day. :(

Yeah the camera does suck when you zoom in. I only use it for quick shots where I cannot use a real camera (a Canon SD630 that I also carry around). Anyway I am quite happy with the phone overall, having MSN and AIM on the go is pretty neat :)

Damn you... tell me how you like it. What will your plan be too?

Same as I have now... i'm just going to buy the phone outright to replace my outdated (and very crappy) silver razr. 2100 minutes (shared) and unlimited text is all I can think of off the top of my head.

Be sure to share how it fairs. It's one of the phones I looked at along with the Venus to see if they can grab my attention away from getting a 3G iPhone.

Oh, yikes.

Yeah I know it's retail price is $410.

Sure I'll report how it fairs after I've had it for awhile, as far as the Venus my sister's fiance has one but he's on his second one and I don't know why exactly. I think either his screen cracked (because of him dropping it) or the touch screen part of the phone's screen stopped working. Either way it had something to do with the phone's screen. Nothing seems to be wrong with his second one though... he has a plastic cover on it now.

EDIT: One thing I can say already about the Dare is that one of the Verizon employees I was talking to said was: I asked him if anyone had returned the Dare yet and he said yes but not because of the phone itself. They just didn't like it being solely touch screen oriented. So if you don't like the idea of using a virtual keypad for as long as you use the phone then I guess it's not the phone for you. It doesn't bother me though I own an iPod Touch.

Really? Hmm. I was looking at the phone you're getting, and I kind of disregarded as the phone sort of lagged between presses. I'd press music & it'd take 5 seconds to load. Then again, it was a phone available to anyone, so that may have been why.

As far as I know every touch screen electronic i've used has had all kinds of degrees of lag including my iPod, so i'm not too worried about it. As I agree that it's a display model so it maybe be slow because of that, regardless it's supposed to reflect what you might buy. I at first was also weary at the fact that it was a sole touch screen phone so I didn't take much look into it at first I was walking in thinking of the Voyager. But after playing with the Dare for an extended period of time I pretty much figured it out and wasn't really annoyed by the touch at all which is the most important. As a tiny bonus it's camera function makes it seem like a real camera.

I've had this one for nearly two years now, Samsung MM-A900. I enjoyed it, worked well, big screen, and clear sound.

In the next couple of weeks I should be getting this, Samsung Instinct

Do share your thoughts on the Instinct if you get one. I'm still not sure if I'm going to ditch Sprint or not, and if I stay, I may end up grabbing one of those.

Sure, I'll give you a full review. But by the looks of it, I won't be getting it for atleast 2-3 weeks because my brother's baseball team is out of state for Mid-Atlantic Regionals for baseball and possibly Nationals if everything goes smoothly and I have to go where they go. As soon as I get it I will let you know.

I own the LG Viewty, Great phone, great features, on a 3g network and supports the superfast net on it, great touchscreen, very highly recommended product
LG have done good with there new series of touch phones.

Nokia N73, had it since March I think. Mine isn't a music edition, it's black and has Vodafone's logo under the screen. Flashed to music edition firmware and tinkered with a bit. Playing SNES games and N-gage 2.0 games is addicting. ^^

just got the iPhone 3G and I love it. Easy to use and gives me lots of options. I was looking at the HTC touch and the Sony XP1 but I just love the look of this phone.

Gotta love the NES portable :sly:

I just bought a Nokia 6085 flip/camera phone. It has a built in radio and music player and is a great phone for how inexpensive it was ($29.99).
