Time for thread resuscitation!
I just got myself this baby:
Blackberry Bold 9000
I chose it over the iphone 3g 16GB, and I couldn't be happier of my choice!
I'm a first time Blackberry user but it has taken me only a couple of hours to get addicted.
I'll write a review in the next couple of weeks and let you know how it goes.
Yes, yes, excellent. Welcome to the BB club. Not exactly the latest and greatest but here is what i use... minus the at&t part
I have the semi-new Storm.Hehe thanks, which one do you have?
It was either the storm, the bold, iphone for me. I'm with AT&T, and I was afraid that the storm may not work well since it doesn't come with the original ATT apps for it. I can't stand texting on touch-screens either.
I bought mine from eBay (no way in hell I'm paying $600 for it), so I ended up with a great deal at $420, brand new and everything.
The internet is amazingly fast (faster than my previous blackjack which also was 3G capable), and the phone runs flawless.
I'm a crackberry addict
What exactly does 3g mean ?
All i know is that my is network is 3g ?
I dont have 3g but it is a much faster mobile network, so the internet is faster and the added speed lets you download maps (GPS) and watch television etc. It isnt possible to do so at speed with 2g.
Oh good.
Reventón;3264549Of course, many of the features on a 3G network require you to pay for each one.
I have a 2gb memory card too:tup:.
60AUD...comeplete rip off though.
I renewed to a 2-year contract like 2 months ago, and then I lost my BlackJack... so I needed a new phone.Reventón;3264497$600?! Dude, my Storm was worth just $200, though I have a 2 or 3 year contract with Verizon.
Almost too much for a lot of them. Whats the data rate on Verizon these days? I know AT&T was charging $35 a month, I think, but that seems to be the going rate for most companies now.
Its looking like I may replace my Motorola RAZR V3m with an LG Lotus, but I haven't decided yet.
Thing is, I'm not likely to get a better deal on service rates, and if Sprint is going to be cutting them later this month (still a rumor), its only going to get better. We'll see. There aren't many good phones available on their service that doesn't require a bunch of add-on fees, and unless AT&T is willing to wave the cost of a decent phone (or significantly cut my monthly rates)... I'll be sticking with Sprint.
Yeah you got ripped.
2 weeks ago I got a 2GB M2 Card for my k800i for $34.
