What trophies do you expect/want?

So all games as of 2009 will have trophy support. So I'm curious what do people expect trophies to be in gt5 or what do they want as a trophy in gt5

Few that pop into my head are:

- finishing a 24 hour race in a-spec mode (assuming there is a and b spec)
- completing all licence tests
- completing all licence test gold
- trophy for 50,75,100% completion
- trophy for completing a group of missions (if they keep that idea)
- trophy for winning x number of online races
- trophy for travelling certain distance/miles
- trophy for hitting a certain speed (breaking 400km/h for instance)
- etc.

yeah im really into top speed, and trophies for breaking certain speeds would be cool, but only if reaching those speeds in hard and realistic, not really like GT4....

Maybe a trophy for excessive oil changes, something to lighten things up.

-how about trophies for collecting all the cars or all the cars of certain manufacturers.

-And how about trophies for some classic events and vehicles that have been with the games since GT1 (300KM of Grand Valley Endurance, SSR5 and the FTO LM Race Car just to name a few.)

-Drive 25,000 miles B-spec mode

-Various DRIFT trophies for drifters.

-Drive each and every track without any penalties (offline only)

Mhh i don´t like the b-spec mode,i want to play the full game,not the AI for me... Hope there will be no trophies for b-spec...

I gotta agree with the "TREE HUGGER" all very good ideals, but a different type of "trophy" for online events a Bad Driver trophy for contact & excessive penalties. Also a trophy for different levels of online wins say every 50, trophy for podium finishes & winning percentage.

Isn't that easy in the GT by Citroen?

Anyways, I really don't want any trophies, as the achievements in game are more than enough, but if I had to have some:

-Collect all rare cars (hoping they have the used shop with "black" cars again)
-All bronze/all silver/all gold on licenses/races (this would count for a LOT of trophies)
-Collect all cars from certain seasons (all 2003 JGTC, etc)
-Race the 24 hour races nonstop (crazy, but it'd separate the men from boys, eh?)

I don't have the GT yet, but it might be harder if you would need to hold that speed for a certain time

Bringing back the very first TROPHIES thread for GT5. Any new ideas since now we have way more scene of what a GOOD or BAD trophy is.


For me a good Trophy would be
Win 1st on a Endurance race
Drive 100,000 miles in game using A-Spec mode
Do not damage you'r car in a 10 or more lap race

Bad trophy Example

Win within .005 seconds margin in 24h Le Mans Race (Too extreme, 1 in billion chance)
Paint your first car (too easy)

Dirty Boots (Complete all Rally Challenges)

and finally King of the Roadkill (flatten at least 10 animals crossing the track)

I would love to see trophies Mirroring the real championship ones. For instance, I'd like to have the Virtual accomplishment of winning the Le Mans 24 HR race or the Le Mans Series Championship. Of course they will most likely not be able to license all names of events and series like that, but I think those would be great Trophies.

I think thats the most appropriate use of trophies I've seen, sadly I expect its just going to be the same old stuff like passing all the tests...

I couldn't care less about throphies in GT5 but im expecting something like this:

-10000km driven (bronze) - 25000km (silver) - 40000 or 50000km (gold)

-150 cars in the garage (bronze) - 450 [+-50] (silver)

-bronzed driving tests (bronze duh!) and so on...

-and then the major races/series in the game as RACECAR said.

I dont want them to include to many online thropies though...especially none which you "have" to boost.

But anyway...i would be happy to have one thropy as Flash48 mentioned.

Do anyone of you know how many point worth the bronze, silver, and gold trophies and how many points are the allowed limit for the games?

My contribution:

Tourist Trophy - Win a race in every track. (Bronze)
Enduracer - Win an endurance race in A-spec mode. (Bronze)
Car Care Specialist - Complete a 24h race in A-spec mode without damaging your car. (Silver)
Mad Man - Win every endurance race in A-spec mode. (Gold)
Collectionist - Own every car on the game. (Gold)

I'm thinking in a lot more but I'm too lazy to write them.

Many areas that could be awarded, but something like Ferrari Challenge awards for single make tournys,Champoionships,missions,and of course Liscense tests. Like to see online trophys as well,awards for not recieveng penalties,or car touches. Career Trophys hope there is a career mode such as F1CE.
