i would transfer all of my cars from gt psp, then inv a friend to a custom race on daytona 500 then take 2 veryrons and crash em.then upload a comparison between bugatti veyrons crashing on forza3 and bugatti veyrons crashing on gt5.

Welcome to GTP.

;)

I will be powersliding around the TG Test track & exploring roads in many different cars.I'm hoping the IOM TT full circuit is in, that's a scary track & epic fun.

That's a very thought provoking and intellegent post right there.
Thank you for sharing that.

Buy a Chevrolet Lacetti or a Kia Cee(Apostrophe)d and go round the Top Gear Test track and try and set my fastest time as a Star in a Reasonably priced car. Then look through all the rest of the 1000+ cars.

1, Install Data, whilst checking out the goodies.
2, Fire-up the ButtKicker
3, Plug in the G25
4, Plug in PS Eye for Headtracking
5, Crank everything to the max
6, Go around the nurb in the Chrome Shelby.
7, Change underwear.
8, Start licence tests

No transferring data for me, looking forward to a fresh start.
After opening movie, straight to Dearlerships to check out the cars, with the intention of finding a different second – hand car to start with this time. Will be whatever takes my fancy from the premium vehicles I reckon. Want to look at the new track detail movies if they are in, like in GT5P.
Then do enough Licence tests to get started, do as many races as that qualifies for, build some credits, some more licences, just enough to advance the game a little at a time.
If the racing isn’t close enough, juggle a few more cars in to choose from, don’t want to be winning by big margins, the close finish is what I’m hoping for. Hope the game handles situations with lots of cars bunched up better than GT5P does. Won’t have race music on but will option it on for some of the replays of longer races.
More trips to Dealerships to find something to race online with and settle into some online battles. This will take some time to find any good clean competitive racing.
Just want to experience damage as it happens, not going to intentionally crash until I understand how its all gonna work.
Top gear track will then get a flogging and that will soak up some time as well.
Arcade next to try out some more tracks, some old favourites as well as any new tracks that I haven’t raced before. Chance here to try out some more new cars.

O.K, my PS3 is warmed up, my G25 is connected, carton of “Carlton Cold Filtered Beer“ in the fridge, $100 bucks for the game put aside, all that’s needed now is November 2nd and the new copy of GT5.
Bring it on.

I wouldn't want to transfer my cars first thing, when I start getting bored of the the cars I own (which will be hard 💡 ) then I transfer :)

I'll watch the introduction, then i will go to the dealerships and look at cars, then i will look at the tracks, basically i will look at everything on the career map to see what's new and stuff.

Finally Someone with rational thinking... Duh!!

I had to click two pages before i could find this answer...

... And that's exactly what i will be doing after opening the box and popping the disk(s) into the PS3:

I will watch the Intro Video over and over again!!! at least 5 times over.... just like i did when i first experience GT2 on the PSOne for the first time in my life... UNFORGETTABLE!! .... Let it sink in!!

I am looking forward to that Intro Video....👍

Flick through the CE pack while waiting the 15mins for the game to do a HDD install.

Then watch the intro and after that browse through the menus and garages seeig what there is to play with.

Hi Guys,

My First name is Jean-Pierre, i'm from Nancy, France.
I've played GT during long time before and on GT4, i've played with friends each two weeks on lan mod.
One of my wishes is to have possibility to finish race.... Because when you're in late for more 20 sec, it was impossible to complete your race !!!
I hope PD make us choice to define the time schedule for slow racers... lol..

A momentous occasion for me is always my first time watching the intro movie to a new GT game, my fave to this day is still the first GT game although GT4's intro comes a close second.

As for what i'll do first, if its possible i intend to transfer all i have from Prologue then go and have a look at the manufacturers and check out some of the machinery on offer to me.

Do licensing until i can't pass anything any more :P

And then resist playing online until a have a commendable car collection...unless online is more integrated into career.

And in the mean time, perfectly tune a mustang for fast racing on A setting, and maybe drifting for B setting (cause i want to).

Iam kind of surprised by the amount of folk who say they will transfer cars in, the best part of GT is the start game, working up from scratch.

I'll do a number 2 and read the manual while waiting for the game to install. :dopey:

After that, I'll watch the intro movie, then set control options and turn race music off. Then I'll check out GT Mode, look at all the dealers, do some licenses and start off with the mighty sunday cup

I'll probably take a week off work, too and dig myself in with a gallon of energy drinks and fast food :sly:

First open my Signature Edition(that´s right, im portuguese)
Then tranfer everything,
then make out with the game(JOKING!!!)
then, eeee who knows, just drool my self

I posted in here pre-E3, so I felt the need to modify my start approach:

Hopefully I'm allowed to transfer my save between both my PSN accounts on my PS3. Anyways, after the opening movie, first order of action is transferring over PSP and/or Prologue stuff, provided it really is limited to Arcade Mode. I want them available for some fun online right off the bat if I feel so inclined. Next will be to look at the Used lots to get an idea of what's available, but I'm going to hold off buying anything until I'm done golding all my licenses. This might mean I miss out on a good deal on what I want, depending on how the days progress in GT5 (a day every attempt, like GT1, or just a day each specific test, no matter the number of attempts, like GT4), but it might mean a better deal too, so I'll take my chances. After I'm done with the golds, I think I'll buy a car that's simply just competitive in the earliest races, to make it more challenging. My first-car history has been MA70, '82 Starlet, Trueno, and M Coupe, and while all were fun, I remember the mad scramble of trying to keep that little Starlet competitive. So since chances are utterly slim that it'll be returning, I want something similar this go-round. I'm sure the license prizes will be plenty entertaining anyways :D.
