What would YOU find dissapointing in GT5?

that standard cars have no interior view

That's probably gonna happen. In Kaz's interview with Famine, he said that most standard won't have interior view, not even the black ones of GTPSP.

My Dissapointment: Ha! This game will be awesome anyway.

I'll be dissapointed if not all but at least most of the tracks from previous GT games don't come back. Yes, we've seen Tokyo, Nurburgring, Sarthe, etc 1000 times so far this year. But (if I recall correctly) we haven't seen any of the old school original tracks like High Speed Ring, Deep Forest Raceway, Grand Valley Speedway, Midfield Raceway, etc.!! It seems like PD/Sony are making a deliberate effort not to show or discuss any of the "old stuff" that might be coming back. I NEED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE TRACKS!

EDIT: Does anybody else share my worries?

Here is my list:

-No real good tracks..already confirmed.
-If there are no real mods such as kits, wings, livery, etc. Basically if it doesn't copy Forza.
-All cars need cockpit views.
-Accurate damage models.

That's it SO far.

i love how Sony and Kaz keeps secrets about GT5 and don`t tell us everything about the final product, that makes it more exciting I think. It`s gonna be a magic moment unwrapping my Signature Edition, and insert it into my PS3.

I would be a little disappointed however if I don`t find the Red Bull F1 car in the game, cause it`s "my" team.

Yes, in a way it is more exciting but it's also driving me MAD!

I know, it`s been driving me mad since I bought my PS3 on march 23rd 2007:) that`s 3.5 years ago, so I hope I`ll survive the upcoming 2 months, I think however that the last week will be hell:)

OMG the last week will feel like driving the Fiat 500 down the main straightaway @ Fuji.

I'd be dissapointed if the top gear reasonably priced cars are not in the game. They are yet to be seen or announced.:(

Well now that we've seen some 80's-90's Japanese sports cars being made premium, i think theres a better chance than ever that these cars will be included, i for one hope they are! :)

I wonder if we get working wipers ?.For open seater race cars, like the Audi R10 would rain spatter helmet visor. What about removable visor strips. With us knowing about voice overs in the rallying bit, could we have race commentary for Nascar, WRC, JGTC and Kart races ?.
Could be added after the releases, when i don't know.

I was hoping for wipers too. I dont care about the commentary but it would be cool if we hear our team communicating to us like f1 10

Definitely the lack of a 2011 STi sedan. It might have been too late to model it, but I hope it makes it on a DLC pack.

No STOCK tires. I find it ludicrous that we need to figure out which N or S tire simulates stock handling characteristics for each car. I know that Prologue gave us the recommended choices in the manual, but I doubt they are listing that for 1000+ cars.

Seeing the last screens I realized theres no way to sort the cars by mileage. It is something small, but what else can I find disappointing :-Þ. In GT4 I wanted to race with the 0 or low mileage cars in my garage and sometimes it was a pain in the head to find them.
Agreed, for some reason I have really been hoping for this too.

I was glad to see a "favorites" tab though. That way we can at least put our most driven cars in there. It's better than nothing.

Now that the whole S vs P car misunderstanding has been cleared up, there's really nothing else that should be a disappointment.

I will be however be mad if the chase cam currently used in the demo is the one we get for the final release. Tell me how I can get in contact with Kaz & Friends, and tell them to fix that chase cam. lol

The whole standard not having cockpit view has caused me to seriously think about not supporting this game, actually I know I wont because of it, at least not a new game I will wait till the hordes of people who did not know of this before buying the game trade theirs in. Not having the closest camera view to real life in what is considered a diving simulator is the worst decision anyone could make, almost an oxymoron really. I wonder how the person who made the final decision on that knows how to eat properly and to wear pants in public. I really hope word gets out to normal folk who are/was expecting a quality game.

Does GT5 not have cockpit view? Oh sorry, only 200+ cars do. Are you even going to be using even half of the premium cars on a regular basis?

That sucks about not having cockpit views for standards but if you are saying people will be trading their game in because of this, ignoring all the other great features that have been added to the GT series, you gotta be pretty shallow. And this is comming from someone who uses cockpit view 100% of the time.

Like I've said before, for me and alot of other car enthusiasts, there are TONS of standard cars that we are glad that will be in the game running on the new physics engine.

Only one thing i've seen so far would dissapoint me if not changed, the damn chase camera, it's too stiff. I can't accurately judge some corners and end up taking them wrong, maybe it's just me with this problem but it's very hard to get used to on Prologue, also because 800 of the cars on GT5 won't have a cockpit view, the next best view for me is chase cam, looks like im gonna need some practice!

Last year at GC it was this way
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoyJqqg9i58
This way it would be perfect for me :)

At this year's GC it was similar to Prologue ...I also hope that it's not that stiff (or that you can adjust it in the menu) as in Prologue 👎
