What would YOU find dissapointing in GT5?

Yes, but backfire is often overdone. It's much more dynamic than you might think.
If it's in I hope it will be realistic this time.

Yeah, take a look at any GT4 photo shots, the backfire was awful, for sure it was cool back at that time, but it just doesn't fits the quality level PD has defined, so they might as well add a dynamic backfire engine too.

Just kidding, I have no idea if there will be some backfire effect in GT5, but they are really necessary in my opinion, the give a somewhat cool effect to the chases.

Ugh, this brings me back to the early days of GT4 and the Photo Galleries forum, and every new member flooding it with quite awful backfire shots, just because it was new :(. And they never took the time to pick an angle that didn't make it look like a cardboard cut-out!

I imagine they'll re-include it, though, it'd seem weird not to...

Well there's a video somewhere of the Venturi backfiring while doing a dyno run. If this car that I love very much reappears in GT5 then maybe the backfiring will too?

I don't what to have to replay GT5 in a different language to access the Opel brand. Okay, there isn't much difference from Vauxhall, but I like collecting both.

Many people keep whining about GT including "50 Skylines, 30 Imprezas and 35 EVO's, all the same". If that's even remotely close to truth you'll have nothing to worry about. Just for the record, there are cars that Opel builds and Vauxhall doesn't and vice versa so those would be included anyway's. The Vauxhall Vectra S2000 and Opel Vectra DTM spring to mind.

i would be didappointed if there was no bathurst:nervous: i just saw a video of peter brock and his m3 and that track is a marvel 👍:dopey: oh and they better have the e30 m3 premium+ special stage route 11 gt1 version ofcourse

Amount of people online.

e.g players online: 1000

With millions of sales expected that is fortunately never going to happen :D

I would be a bit dissapointed if you don't have to pay for repairs, fuel and new tyres.

Having to race only to earn money so you can buy a specific car, to proceed in the game. That annoys me...

When I win a race, I want to be able to continue to the next one!

Forza 3 achieved over 2 million sales, yet just a few months after release there were only ever a few hundred players online at any given time, and certain game modes were quite literally empty.

1) rabbits or other cute animals crossing the track...
2) Jimmy Jump ;-)

honestly: paying for tires and repairs would be nice to have!
and loosing a car when you totally wrecked it...

I know GT5 is supposed to be the driving simulator. Now, while realistic is good, I would not enjoy...
... having to pay tax and insurance on every car I own, or risk huge fines and or impounding of said vehicles if I don't.
... passing virtual safety and emissions test of every vehicle on a regular basis.
... standing in line at the virtual DMV:s office to renew my licence(s).
... fixing rust.
... plan and pay for transportation and lodging of race team and vehicles to every event I participate in.
... taking the virtual trash out and patch that leaky roof before I'm allowed to race.
I already did that IRL.

Yeah, but Forza sucks :sly:

Perhaps, but the quality of a game never guarantees popularity, or vice-versa. To be honest, the only issue I can see possibly causing Gran Turismo 5 to fall flat on its face is Standards not being segregated from Premium cars in any way. :yuck:

I would hate it if the game didn't include road cars from 2005 to 2010. Mercedes has evolved it's saloon cars over that period, so I would like to see that.

I will be very disappointed if it has similar completely overdone drafting effect that we have in GT5P. Unfortunately the recently available store demo seems to show they have not changed it and you still pick up draft when you are 1 second or more back from a car in front. Why do they think this is a good thing??? It has no place in professional mode.

Its hard to call it racing when it turns it into simple follow the leader.

I'd be severely disappointed by a lack of classic supercars (jaguar D-Type, Aston DBR1, Shelby Cobra/Cobra Coupe, classic Maseratis, Corvette C1, and most importantly, the Merc 300SLR that won the mille miglia)

I'd be disappointed if the used car lineup didn't feature a new 0 mileage car every once in a while, I thought that was neato and collected every used car with 0 mileage though not nessecarily in the color I wanted.
