20 other programs? 2 bundled programs is not 20...seems like you're just throwing a bit of a tanty. iTunes is a quality program, I personally prefer it over Winamp or fooBar but I guess when you're an pre judgemental idiot it doesn't matter how good the program is.

You don't have to use Quicktime when installing iTunes, so I don't know why you're acting like a little kid about it...oh wait. Nevermind.

Quality my ass... for something "claiming" to be easy to use iTunes is the iPod's handicap as far as I can see. As is for most other MP3 players that do not use drag and drop. Among the other reasons iTunes is bad is because they control how you listen to the music, not to mention try and suck as much out of you as then can. I never had a problem get music on right after I got any of my other mp3 players, I have yet to get ANYTHING on this player. I have searched all over for easy ways.

As for Quicktime, many sites have said I can use QT pro ($29.99) to get vid onto the iPod because I have to convert it to iPod screen format and then use iTunes to transfer it. Or I can go and buy worthless t.v. shows and bore myself.

You had no right to bash him for that. That's your fault he said it backwords. You made it seem Quicktime came with iTunes unless you could find a download for just Quicktime.

iTunes really isn't that hard, are you sure you're just not slow or something? I just got an ipod for Christmas, and I just started using iTunes when I got my ipod, but it's ridiculously easy. I had all of my songs on my Ipod in the matter of an hour. All you have to do is import all of your music onto iTunes, then plug your ipod in and update it, it's really not hard.

As for getting videos on your iPod go here for a free program that will convert almost any video into a format that works with the iPod.

And I can see you've never heard about a little thing called marketing? Of course Apple make you use iTunes to transfer music. Just as Creative make you use THEIR software to transfer music and just as Nokia make you use THEIR cables to transfer data. It's in a company's best interest to have customers use their own software to enhance a product. And you're acting as if Apple is the only company that does this too, which shows a bit of bias.

All this other crap being a program which can be uninstalled in 10 seconds? How is it complicated? Honestly you shouldn't own a computer if you can't use iTunes. You may have meant iTunes comes with Quicktime, but the 1st time you made it seem QT came with it unless you found a hidden download for QT itself which I thought was weird b/c I have Quicktime and I never had an iTunes program.
