I should perhaps just note three small things:

1: If you plan on changing car, feel free to tell me so. It's not a big deal, but I like to keep myself updated on what's going on. You can make plenty of posts in similar threads, so this should be easy :)

2: Any messages regarding driver suit/vehicle "customisables" etc. of a car must be sent by the person who entered the car, for three main reasons:

- Because reasons
- To involve people
- Because I say so

3: There's no refund on the $11,111,111 entry fee ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Bro I don't have that kind of money. I'm a college student for crying out loud.

Guys which splotch is the top of the rear wing on the Aston's template? The one circled in green or the one circled in red?

Let me just say it like this:

Rotate the text 180 degree and put it in the other side and it's flipped to the bottom.

So yeah, Pro Tip: Have the bottom of the text face towards the middle of the template.

You give me worries sometimes

Anyhow:

@swiftsmith You mind explaining why you didn't tell @rallymorten about the car change? Its not like he was gonna send Foxy after you if you told him, though he might now since you withheld information

Thank you, final questions, I promise:lol:

Do you have to resize it at all?
How/where did you change the face?
If I make a helmet for both drivers, will it work? Are there even driver changes in this series?

Incidentally, good news! I found how to change the brake pads on the car models so it actually shows Project Mu brakes. Bad news, it impacts all of the SLS models, so yeah, all of the SLS models would show P Mu brakes in game:lol:

@catamount39 as long as @rallymorten can open it with like Paint.net or another editing software and convert to a .DDS file, then it can be sent in any file type 👍

Due to game limitations, no tangible driver changes.

No resizing of the whole thing needs to be done.

You can make a new layer over the default face, and plaster your own face over it.

Hmmm... I've tried a bunch of different things and for whatever reason, nothing seems to be working :/Screenshot (36).png Screenshot (37).png
Tried DXT1 with and without mipmaps, same with DXT5. I'm slightly confuzzled. It goes in the folder for your livery right?

Yeah, it goes in with the folder you have the .car and .dds files that you have assigned your car to. Are your sure you named your helmet FirstName LastName_HELMET, with your driver's name replacing those fields?

Here's what it looks like in my own folder.

Pretty basic suggestion, but check your car's file and see if you misspelled the name in there or something.

Got it. This entire thing was caused because I put my second driver's name in the slot that said driver 1 because me being me thought, oh, yeah, a space to put my second driver and maybe they will show up in like the game results as Jamie Neild/Sebastian Deveraux. Anyway, problem solved after much confusion :/ Thank you! 👍

Where do we submit our cars and the customizable things list? Also, what texture file do you need for GTR2?

Either you .zip it up and attach it in a conversation with me or you send me a link to download it (in case you upload it elsewhere).

File type is pretty much irrelevant at this stage, but since it all ends up in a .dds in the last instance, I'd prefer either that or the entire layered thing.

I have a feeling that depends on how things are set up. Knowing me having a tendency to set up things the most illogical way, I wouldn't be surprised if it worked here

And no, the game can't handle actual driver changes (I don't blame it, the game is approaching its 10th anniversary, the relevant coding is probably even older), but we pretend there is.

I should also say that, for reasons of lazyness, the driver listed as your Driver 1 will always be the one we pretend starts in the car. In normal races we'll pretend they switch about halfway through the race, at Monza each'll take two stints.

Some more info on our season finale has just surfaced:

Confirmed: Spa To Host Day-To-Night Race

GTR2_2015_10_29_09_47_31_197.jpg

A little more than a week ahead of the competition debut of the GT3 World Series, news have breached that the season finale, held as per tradition at Spa, will be held in partial darkness.

"We've finally gathered all the required permissions from the relevant authoritites to host a race in partial darkness," series director rallymorten said.

"Although we're not allowed to race once the track is completely shrouded in darkness, the changing light conditions should already provide both a challenge for the drivers as well as an interesting race for the spectators."

"This season, more than any previously, will be a tough one for Spa to one-up, with world-class circuits such as Zandvoort and Interlagos spiced up with the worlds most challenging courses, such as Laguna Seca, Bathurst and the Nordschleife."

"Combine that with the amount of different models lining up for all ten events and this might just be the most competitive season yet."

Speaking of the cars, we took the opportunity to ask him about the situation on confirmed entries:

"Of the 27 entries registered, about 7 have said they're ready to go right now, with only a matter of details missing on at least a handful others. There's quite a few teams I haven't heard from in a long time, though."
