Quite simple: You get to pick $250,000 in cars (150,000 pounds in the UK, convert it into your currency if it means you can buy better cars) for your dream garage, and then you tell us what you chose. If you buy a used car, attach a link. Also, if you wish to describe your garage a bit, please do!

Here's mine:
Aston Martin V12 Vantage, used, $175,000
BMW E39 M5, used, $19,000
MG TC, used, $26,000
Fiat 500 Abarth, used, $23,000

The 500 would be my commuter car, the M5 for carrying four people with speed (or for a long trip). The other two would be fun sports cars, for occasional use. All cars have manual transmissions.

Also, here's my garage if I lived in the UK (not long now :D)
Aston Martin V12 Vantage, used, £70,000
Audi S8, used, £61,000
Alfa Romeo Brera V6, used, £5,300
MGB, £8,000

I'd likely use the S8 and Alfa Romeo on a daily basis, depending on what I needed. The Aston Martin would be for occasional use, though I may drive it to work once or twice. The MGB would be for fun, like the V12 Vatnage.

The single car I want costs $375,000 so I guess I'm out of the question lol. Other than that I've got way too many cars to fit within that budget.

Ferrari 512 TR, 355
Lamborghini Diablo VT and Countach LP500
Porsche 930 and 964 Turbo
Fairlady S30, GTR R32 - 34.

All are used of course, I wonder if all of them would fit into 250K budget ...

well....

Ford Falcon FG GTII $89,000 + $14,000 for supercharger, Exhaust, Soundstream stereo and various other mods,
Subaru WRX STI MY11 Hatch, would fit in well at the golf club,
The rest would invested into the restoration of a classic Falcon, preferably an XC Cobra or XB GT, or even make a fake,

Not even close lol

Problem is, I have too many favorites, I could never just pick a few top ones, I'd change my mind way too much XD

I would buy between 50 and 150 BMW Bangers from eBay, spanning as many body styles, era's and engine options as possible.

.. which is pretty much what I do now. Just that there'd be more of them.

I understand, you explained your feelings very well. I was directing my comment towards Ridox2JZGTE.

Find them then. That is the whole point of the thread.

Finding them to fit the budget would be pretty hard just by going through certain online ads, I might need to search various countries online classifieds, maybe from Australia, US, UK and Japan. Will take time ... we'll see.

Exactly. I don't know about you, but I love looking through ebay motors and the like for interesting cars.

BMW M5 (the newest one)- £81,000
Ariel Atom 300- Around £30,000.
Mazda MX-5 MK1-Clicky
I'd use the M5 for day to day stuff, the Atom for track days, and general being hooligan, and the MX-5 for when I just want a nice drive.

Well first off my dream car.
1996 Dodge Viper GTS - $69,995
Dealer: D&M Motorsports

My exact favorite.

2. 1991 GMC Syclone
Used or new

3. 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 9 MR
70,000 to buy it from Japan plus 25,000 to get it shipped to the US.

Reason to go through all of that trouble is because only Japanese versions of the car have AYC. The American versions do not.

Also a Seven Fire blade kit car for me to build

OK
1. E39 M5 (~25K all in to get it in PERFECT condition)
2. E92 M3 (~70K)
3. Eary 2000s post P38 Range Rover supercharged (~30K counting expensive maintenance)
4. NA1 NSX modded to my liking (~50K)
5. Porsche 930 modded to my liking (~75K)
If there's any money left over I'd love a third gen Lexus LS which would be 10-20K in good condition
If I only have like 5K left over then I'd have a beat up 240 or AE86 to beat on and hoon until it dies

Coincidentally, I've just done something along these lines for a site I regularly write for... so when it appears online, I'll post the link...

Does it have to be £150k worth of strictly just cars or parts too? I'd love to spend £150k converting my Mondeo to an RS Cosworth. Everything - complete engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, the lot.

Basically, I'd spend it all on building something Ford should have done a long time ago.

The daily driver: 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Hatchback $37,900, 9K miles
The other daily driver: 2011 BMW 328i xDrive $34,999, 1K miles
The family hauler: 2012 Ford Expedition Limited $42,795, 1K miles
The cruiser: 2009 Audi R8 4.2 quattro $94,881, 16K miles
The track day machine: 2005 Mazdaspeed MX5 Miata $17,500 + $10K of track specific modifications, 9K miles
The pickup truck (for towing stuff): 2004 Ford F250 XL $9,900, 127K miles

Total Price: $247,950

The F250 is a turbo diesel. When I looked for the pickup, I saw many others within the price range that are also diesels that have over 300K miles. That could be a sign that it should last me another 200-300K miles :)
