What's your ranking?

Yea, I agree with dLo GSR, it's more productive to improve seconds off of the Cape Ring rather than trying to shave hundredths of a second off of Rome or Tsukuba.

A BIG thanks to Choate51. He indirectly helped me with my Cape Ring time and helped me shave off roughly 4 seconds from where I was previously. =]

Now I'm just roughly 6 seconds off from the leader. =[

I usually spend 45/60 minutes at each track at a time. Then move to the other one. You may learn a technique at Rome that could work at the ring and so forth. I'm glad I helped you.

Was like 6th or 8th in the West when I quit last night. Upper 30's overall, IIRC. I will have to drop some time to stay there. Too many fast guys I know not running yet, or haven't done all the tracks.

Only ran 10 laps on each and managed to get in the 100's on capering and 200's on Rome but Tsukuba was in the 1000's. Not sure I'll get much time to do more than 20 mins each a day, not enough to improve my times thats for sure.

In the west I'm currently in 61 overall, and I know I'm gonna drop in the following weeks. Even tho I'm up in the 50th place on Cape Ring, its still like 3sec slow and I'm sure 4-5s off a real time... top 100 for Tsukuba and top 400 for Rome.

Feel like I have hit my limit and I need to start getting some sort of coaching. Been cruising these forums and gonna try some new techniques, I'm just losing 2 tenths every turn from the fast guys! Hoping to make it into round 2 honestly. I just gotta stop spinning out :(

Currently 144 in the NE using a controller. Planning on buying a wheel soon, the guys at Logitech and Thrustmaster must be raking it in because of this competition!

Oh and blindside I used your ghost for a little while, haha thanks. I find it to be easier to follow someone in tenth because they dont disappear quite as fast :sly:

Also not sure if it has been discussed yet but does anyone think that PD should make the requirement to move into round 2 a certain percentile rather than rank? I feel like there are so many more people in the northeast to compete with and feel like theres a good possibility that I could have a far better rank if I was from a different region or even country. :grumpy:

Just gave up for the night, currently sitting at 143 on Tsakuba NE. I'll try and knock of .5 tomorrow which should put me in the top 128.

Last I checked, 62 in the SE overall. Definitely can improve my times (especially Cape Ring), only doing about 10 laps a night. Probably will stay 60-90, I think.

Midwest Div

548 on Tsukuba
239 on Rome
322 on Cape Ring

254 overall

Not to bad for a Dual Shock 3, using the directional buttons, lol.

Last time I checked, 6th in the Midwest and 34th nationally. Better than I was hoping for, but I still need to find a bunch of time on Cape... :yuck:

I'm still about 8 seconds off the pace of the leader board. Finding a little more speed on cape is helping, but I still need to work on Tsukuba. I'm down 2 seconds there. I'm about 1.5 off the pace at Rome. That track is a strong point for me. Just need to figure out the quick chicane and I'll be golden there.

50th southest
like 60ish for tsukuba, I could take off a couple tenths from there but Rome i'm 18th at the moment but I think i can do a little better but Cape I need to work on that alot lol:yuck:

Only tried a few timed laps at each... 258th or so with my DS3, I will be trying harder the next few days and maybe getting my DFGT :\

I don't think there's a link, unfortunately.

Last night I started 13th and moved back up to 9th in the Northeast. There's still about 0.7-1.0s combined that I think I can reasonably take off. That would move me to 6th, but the top 5 are kind of in their own league right now.

^^^^^^Chasing that guy at Tsukuba! :)

Currently sitting 15th in the Northeast at Tsukuba witha 1'05.775. That's around 80 laps, maybe more. That track really is quirky in terms of line and technique. I have not run Rome Reverse Yet. I did run Cape last night. It was literally the 2nd time I've ran the course! Epic to say the least and I'm literally still figuring out where to go. On my 7th flying lap I did a 1'51.4xx. That was good enough for 70th place at the time...event though it's something like 5 seconds off of the pace!

There is tons of time to be had though and I look forward to shaving off precious seconds. At this point, I feel like I'm in the hunt for a top 20. I could push myself up in to the top 10 perhaps, but that would take a LOT of seat time to figure out the perfect lines and technique everywhere. It really sucks for me that they chose Cape Ring, a track I literally have only 1 run once prior to the Academy! :) lol!

Not so great so far. 350th or something overall in Southeast.

Spent most of my time working at Tusukuba, still got some time left on the table there. The other two I just ran about 10 laps each to get an overall time and see how I was doing. Not too bad so far. Lots of time left on the table on those two, I think I can do better there than Tsukuba.

:( 800ish in Tsukuba. But that's with a broken DFGT. My Fanatec is in the mail, so hopefully that'll get here before I don't have a shot.
