Fighting for a top 10 spot, been floating between 13-16 all day. I need to improve Indy but I hate that spot. I will try to hit the 357 club but don't think I can get down much lower than mid 357s haha.

You guys are fast on top, just fast

Right now I sit 7th nationally and 1st in the midwest.
Indy - 1.40.152
Eifel - 3.57.224

I think I'm safe to go to Florida, but I'm nervous now that replays are up.

Good luck everyone!

Bad news for you: I'm following your ghost.
Good news for you: I'm still 3 seconds off.

I did however come down from 2:26's to 2:20's at Eifel today. Could have used replays 5 days ago...

Good Luck dude... and the rest of you who make it!

Currently at 34th midwest. Small break before attacking eifel again.

Indy: 1:41.060
Eifel: 2:19.514

Almost breaking 4 mins total. I'll get there. And yes, ghosts have helped me considerably. But I analyze more with the data logger than with following a ghost.

Alright, I'm heading to Tahoe, so my entry is final. I'm already drunk and on the plane...

I think I'm at a 3:57.0xx. I hope that's enough to make it...

2nd in the Midwest for the moment. Finally got under a 2'17 at Eifel.
I'd really rather not go back to Indy if I don't have to. That track is nothing but frustrating for me. I guess I'm gonna call it a day and see what the standings look like tomorrow. Good luck everybody 👍

If anyone hasn't noticed, the overall time gets updated faster than the regional times on the GT website. So, I always check the overall time. I got worried when I dropped to 16th, just to realize Carl just passed me, not another NE'er.

Great job, Carl!

I'll do some laps at Indy for you if you'll do some laps at Eifel for me. :sly:

Just kidding of course. Indy I actually enjoy, but Eifel is another story. So much understeer...

Thanks man, and good luck to you. That Northeast battle is EPIC!

LOL, sounds like a deal to me 👍 I actually kind of like Eifel. I hear you about the understeer, but it just has a great flow to me. Indy is like a trip to the dentist  Seriously though, what is tough about Indy for me, is that there are so many corners where you have to be really patient and have to have great throttle control. I'm fine in sector 1, and up until turn 8 really, but it usually all falls apart somewhere in turns 9, 10 or 11.

4th in the MW after running a 2:17.051 at Eifel. God I'm glad to be done with that track. I'm pretty sure a 3:57.312 will get me through to Orlando, so it's beer time.

I think that time gets you to Orlando. Congrats on the huge accomplishment.

Congrats to you too Carl. One heck of a run man!

How is the NE shaping up? The rankings page doesn't work on my phone?

I think I was 4th (5th nationally) when I left this afternoon...

Found a little more time at Eifel this afternoon. I don't think I can do any more.

1:40.152 2:16.953 3:57.105

I know it's not the fastest in the country but it should be good enough for Florida.

Congrats to you too Carl. One heck of a run man!

Hey congratulations to you too  Great job on being #1 right now in the Midwest. Congratulations to all the other Midwest guys too  It's not over yet though, and while I'd like to think I'm in the top 8 safely, you never know. Will just have to see what tomorrow brings.

I am sniffing the top 8 in the Midwest right now. Currently 11th, was 8th earlier but the competition is fierce. about .2 to get (for now) to get in. I just really want to make the trip!

Thanks Choate...looks like it's going to be close. If I don't make it I'll be super disappointed about the 2 tenthsish that I left at Indy.

That's why I worked so hard at Indy in the beginning. While everyone was off learning Eifel I was working on Indy. I know you have it in you at Indy!

I think I probably COULD get it, but I'm offline for the rest of the competition... Gone skiing sans PS3, so now I'm just hoping my entries are enough.

Then don't fret. It's out of your hands now. You did your best and left it all on the track and kicked some tail along the way. I'm thinking you make it to Orlando, and I can't wait to meet ya!

34th, no movement since this afternoon. Eifel kickin my ass.

Indy, I think I can cut my time down to the 1:40 range, but Eifel is so tough to get faster than 2:19.

Keep at it scir, you've got more speed in you. Just focus on keeping all your laps white, first of all it is demoralizing to get multiple red laps and well...they don't count :)

Just over 3 tenths separates me from sliding past the cut-off spot in the West which currently sits at a 3:57.465. Seems like a nice chunk of space, but considering I picked up almost a second alone today, anything can happen. :nervous:
