Which car to use in ''Like the Wind'' lvl 21 A-SPEC Mode?

I'm not sure the B Spec dingbat has the ability to push the Furai to the same level that a human driver can. Personally I wouldn't throw him at All Stars or Gone With the Wind in anything short of a full blown race car. My B Spec driver is a complete twonk though, so you might have better luck with yours.

I found the ZR1 RM a lot easier to win with in both. Got 15 seconds ahead in Daytona. And I had to brake for the corners in the second race but was still quicker than the other cars on the straights and corners.

But I had the downforce all the way up to the top. Furai is a nice car though :)

I tried the ZR1 RM in the indy race and I got absolutely thrashed. I never tried it in the All Stars event, as I was quite belligerent about using my Veyron as I love it so much. :D

Also, the ZR1 RM will cost you what, 700,000ish at the end of the day when all is said and done and it's raced out and fully tuned? My way is cheaper and only involves fully tuning the Veyron, which is a good one to drop that money on to begin with after the GT World race, as it's a great money maker, and a good way for B Spec Bob to get some more wins under his belt.

Yea I had the ZR1 already and the fully tuned bugatti. So it was free to me either way. :)

Ones B-spec gets to the level for gone with the wind I doubt he will win it even IF I give him my new race car.
 
General tip: B-spec drivers abuse the throttle. AWD cars are better for them. If you have adjustable aero give your B-Spec driver all the rear wing you can. They will reward you for it. If not then put in lots of front anti-roll bar. This helps with putting power down and makes for understeer, which B-spec driver prefer, in their horrendous stupidity.
 
Maybe the test for if B Spec Bob can do it, should be if you can run the race with that car driving with your feet then he can qualify. :lol:
 
Oh and tip for the Furai:

It starts off with very little downforce, but there's lots more available in the settings. It is also very sensitive to downforce ballance. Too much rear wing will kill your top speed and make it a little understeery at speed. Too little will make it undrivable on bumpy tracks. Online changing the rear wing 5 points made the difference between finishing 3rd on the Nordshleife or absolutely toying with the 2nd place driver like he was my prison bitch.
 
Leave the Furai downforce alone, rather full up your little bag of talent :P . You'll be MUCH quicker with it lower, half the lap is oval!, you'll still be quicker in the infield than the piss poor AI.

abt Minolta, i dont know how to beat like the wind so i can get the minolta :S

from these 3 races i've won only GT world champion with GTR fully modified which was a piece of cake.

i've spent lots of credit and still i cant win those races :(
 
I was thinking of leaving the downforce alone on the Furai to get quicker straight line speed but I did try a run with full downforce and I was able to win. I did have to do a bit of blocking on the last lap though so it can get quite hairy! :lol: Esp if you go into a corner sandwiched between two cars with this crazy AI! And thanks TC, for some reason it never struck me to try the Furai in the Like The Wind race. Worked great! 👍

The Furai definitely destroys the indy race, I use that to make money right now. The trick is to never take your foot on the gas, and to always cut to the inside, if you upped the downforce like I mentioned that car does NOT break traction. The only time you have to keep in front of the AI drivers and block them is on the last stretch of the 5th lap, otherwise just let them pass you and draft them. It'll give you some sick lap times!

Tried letting them pass me, but I couldn't get to the inside at all.. every time I tried they would ram into me and spin me out.. I see how it could work..but with my driving style it wouldn't hold up. Kept ticking me off to maintain 1st then on the final turn on the last lap get spun out :S

I bumped up the downforce on my Furai by 10 front and rear and upped the top end on the tranny to 380ish (iirc). Made the car drive like it was glued to the road. You can literally drive around the white line at the center of the indy track without ever taking your foot off the gas. Oh and do NOT make contact with any of the AI drivers, your car is WAY lighter and they can throw you around like a ragdoll. Just drive with calm smooth movements for as little speed loss as possible and it's a snooze.

A B Spec driver is tearing up All Stars with the Furai? Seriously? Please let us know how well he does by the end of it! I figured the Furai would get murdered on the courses with long straightaways in the hands of the B-Tard.

I didn't follow it exact as when I did the daytona I only had the fast car, not the pair of cars, and I had already been pushed wide in the first corner, so was on the grass, I did my best to get back on, and happened to take out that hugely quick first car into the wall, and that was the end of it. The other cars were poor, and he happened to finish 12th :P after that crash it was a hugely easy race! Thanks for the guide =))

The car you win from the wind is a beast! Love it :D Makes all stars nice and easy. ^^
Nearly as beastly as that pikes peak Q7! haha I love that car :D
 
As the title says...What's the best car for the "Like the Wind" series? Really need help finding the right car, but I dont want to waste millions car searching. Any help is appreciated.
 
Quite a few threads on here about it, but I think most people are using a race modded ZR-1 (fully upgraded). Worked for me.

I am wondering however if it wouldn't be cheaper/faster/just as effective to turn the Corvette ZR1 09 into a race car (~400k) to do all those races. What do you think?

i used the pagani zonda which set me back 2.6 mil credits. totally worth it. you get a toyota minolta race car as a prize:tup:
 
The ****ing minota is utter crap, what the hell, any slight bit of power when turning and its gone could somebody help? WHAT THE HELL, its a bloody race car and I can put a 430 round the track quicker? what kind of crapola is that?:grumpy:

It's not actually named the miata. I think it's called the roadster? Go to the 07 mazda and press triangle there and read through it. Mentions it there.

oh god i looked into the UCL and bought a MX-5 miata but its year 1993. i think i should still be able to do it i think, already spent like $40k upgrades on it. guess i will just buy this one and upgrade it.
