Hey guys, I remember watching the speed channel a while ago and it was showing the GT500 class I believe and the race track they were going around looked a lot like midfield. Try checking that out

Yes i read in some magazine, that there are races in Japan called GT200 and GT500 (remember GT2? :) ) And cars participating there are the same as those LM version in the game.

WOW!

I'm amazed. What started with a simple question produced proof beyond a doubt.

You guys deserve a pat on the back.

That lap video is pretty cool! Am I the only one who was freaked out to see oncoming traffic, and to wonder why he kept stopping?
Good work on this project, everybody!

Yup that got me too seeing the traffic

It was good seeing that it is a real layout of actual roads im trying to find some stuff on the other routes R11 & R5 They must be some sort of layout aswell im thinking the bridge sections around the same area as R246 could be parts of the other tracks

I will post it up if i find anything ;)

What one you find something?

Without some landmarks or buildings that we could look for i don't think it will be possible to find these routes

if they even exsist

Thats the thing with these circuits... if you can get the general area of the circuit then you can work it out from the roads.

Seattle was easy to find because we had the stadium to look for and the freeway.

Rome had the Colosseum... which is more or less THE place to be in Rome.

And Japan had the Sony Building... plus the fact that the developers had put up real footage of the track...

Without those landmarks there you can basicly write off finding them.

For all we know Midfield Raceway and Apricot Hills could be real tracks too... just a matter of finding them.

What I do know is that Grand Valley and the Special Stages don't exist... Grand Valley doesn't seem physicly possible and the Special stages were at one point in the same place... both using the same start/finish line. Untill GT3 when they spit it into two seperate tracks and changed the entire middle part of the Route 11 circuit.
