(Post #72 by "Kikie") I wonder which Hockenheim will be used. The one before Tilke, or the one after Tilke? In one way, I tend to agree. I'm not sure, but in terms of the Gran Turismo series, there has NEVER been a track in a Gran Turismo game from the United Kingdom. Why should you care? The UK is chock full of racing talent from club racers to all-out pros. The British make Bentley (featured in GT4) won Le Mans five times in the first 10 years of the Le Mans endurance, then later won again in 2003. Derek Bell won Le Mans five times, even in the year I was born (1983). I'm telling you. The United Kingdom needs to be represented in Gran Turismo with a track good enough to satisfy all tastes. I think Brands Hatch is a pretty historic track in British motor racing. I'd personally like to see Goodwood represented. In fact, there should be a rally course and a circuit race for this place. The circuit would be where the Goodwood Revival is raced, and the Goodwood hillclimb would make the tarmac rally. Who knows? Maybe you'll be able to do some drifting if you wanted to with the hillclimb event. Donnington Park is a great choice too, a tricky left-right-left type race track. You can't forget the challenge of Silverstone either. I don't know about Wales and Scotland for track ideas, so I'll leave that up to you native Europeans and British Isles folk.
Nationalities that have been fully represented in at least one GT game includes America, Japan, Germany, France, Italy, and Korea. When I say "fully represented," I mean auto manufacturer and track. So for example, America is fully represented since you have American car companies, and tracks like Seattle and Sears Point (to name a few) can be raced on. Japan has so many companies, and many Japanese courses to boot. I really think Australia and Great Britain need to be represented more with some British courses to tickle the fancy of British GT gamers alike. Brazil also needs to be represented even though there are no Brazilian car companies I know of. Or if I'm wrong, set me straight.
