Tracks I think should be in there:

Daytona Road Course (put in the 24 Hours of Daytona for an Enduro)
Sebring (12 Hours of Sebring as an Enduro as well)
Road Atlanta (Petit Le Mans Enduro race)
Long Beach (not the current one, but Long Beach a la 1991, Michael Andretti and Al Unser Jr., you know, turn right at the end of the front stretch, not left)
Vancouver street circuit (the mid 90's with the tunnel)
Road America
Mid-Ohio
Watkins Glen (6 Hour enduro race)(Long course, with "The Boot")
Indianapolis (Road Course and Oval, maybe have the Indy 500?)
Spa
Silverstone
Hockenheim
Imola
Monza
Adelaide
Bathurst
Circuit Gilles Villenueve (Montreal F1)

Loved the orginal layout of the Long Beach GP... When under the hotel as well. That section has been cut-out for some time, but it was always cool to watch.

The last revision before they changed the first time should be the one in the game. Its also in Ferrai 355 and a few other games.

I dont know alot of tracks outside of US but these are US tracks not in GT4 but need to be in GT5.

United States TRACKS

Indianapolis (OVAL)
Indianapolis (Road Course)

Daytona (OVAL)
Daytona (Road Course)

Sebring

Road Atlanta

Long Beach

Watkins Glen (Long and Short configuration)

For those of you who dont want the ovals you must realize oval racing is a large part of American racing and the top 2 racing series in America are primarly ovalsm, NASCAR and IRL. You are not the only person in the world and whether you want to believe it or not people like racing on ovals.

thats something I never knew and that is what started american racing (I think). with all these tracks in mind and the PS3 capibility still in question(in my mind at least), how exactly will all those tracks fit(as with the cars)and how much memory and data would that be in total?

This isnt a real life track but more of a real life location that i think could easly be turned into a reace track with some intresting results
It is none other that England's very own spaghetti junction

Now That is HUGE! interesting freeway you got there and I think that is a good idea like the bridge sections, now that would be awesome but in the case of a crash might have to be thoght over though I see the bottom freeway as a better possibility but hey that is neat. by the way, where is this place?

really, storage of the stuff isn't even a slightest problem...the Blu-ray supports up to 40GB? not too sure, but it's somewhere up there.

Some manufactuers are 'experimenting with creating Blu-Rays with over double that. storage is without a doubt no problem. one would think anyway

We need Texas Motor Speedway, and all versions of Texas World Speedway!
my home track you have mentioned at the same time, didn't know there was a texas world speedway or your making that up but definate agreement!

wow, can't believe they can fit that much on a single disc, nice! and i heard about some special coating that makes it scratch-resistant? well, if there isn't, one minor scratch will take out 2GBs of info or whatnot. anyhow, reading it fast enough is a problem though, with so much info to read from the disc.

I'd have to agree with what an earlier poster said about including Gotland Ring. That looks like such an awesome course. However everyone here has mentioned so many good courses! Isle of Man, some of the other well known German courses.. but I think the biggest thing I'd want is a few Brazilian courses. So many great races are held in that country (so many awesome racers come from there) and to hop on a track from there would wet my pants.

Other than that, I'd like to see some more east coast (US) tracks included since I live here in TN, and plan on visiting one of these courses eventually when I can get a car worth driving on it. :)

Texas World Speedway is different. Its built more as a road course with many alterations.

It looks like Texas Motor Speedway, but the outside and infield are the main differences.

As you can see, there is a gigantic difference.
TWS is out by College Station, Texas.

Ahem...Bristol? Martinsville? Bueller?

Bueller?

Bueller?
1. those courses are fun! nothing like a short track to keep you on your toes.
2. where and what is bueller? thats another track no one mentioned.

Definitly the Sebring race track, more American and European real life tracks,
GT4 had like 3 or 4, the rest were all Japanese tracks. The Le Sarthe and Nurburgring tracks were better than the rest of the real life tracks combined in my opinion.

I dont wanna see no boring oval tracks

Classic Anycar
Virginia International Raceway

Do you mean Richmond.

I want to see Richmond International speedway in there. Before you bust my chops about that one the IRL races there as well as Nascar. The 24 hours of Daytona would be cool. Watkins Glen. That Mexico City race track that the Busch Series raced at this year.
