You're not aloneRIP this thread![]()
Maybe FIA doesn't want to see some (old) LMP1 struggling with GT500 cars on tracks. Or even GT500 against LMP2 on Fuji.

Your right about that. Well I think Super gt will be added. Have you seen the Super Gt rounds on YT, well I have. Pretty cool. Whn your wacthing it you have the usual Nissan GTR-GT,You're not aloneI hope the missing "Gr2" stands for Super GT. We already have enough FIA GT3 cars, I want to see some GT300 mother chassis with their crazy aero. GT500 cars are a given. It's crazy that GT is a sponsor of Super GT and don't use it. We can only hope a trailer at TGS with japonese tracks and Super GT cars.

That's not a lot of work : three GT500 cars and several liveries. For GT300 cars, they could add :Your right about that. Well I think Super gt will be added. Have you seen the Super Gt rounds on YT, well I have. Pretty cool. Whn your wacthing it you have the usual Nissan GTR-GT,
Honda NSX-GT, the Lexus RCF-GT, Honda CRZ-GT300 and the Toyota Prius-GT300. Alongside those cars I've seen some Z4 GT3 SLS GT3, GTR GT3, Huracan GT3 and much more run against the Super Gt cars. So who knows maybe Super Gt will be added in sport:idea:![]()
The GT500 class is only three cars. I'm sure they can scan 3 cars in the same year ^^ We had the HSV in GT6 but now the GT500 are much faster than the cars we have in Gran Turismo. Even faster than DTM cars. This thread raises important question - how profitable is to spend months modelling few Super GT cars when a year or two later a new selection will appear (probably before the game hits the shelves), making players wondering why PD hasn't included the latest ones?
These on-going racing series put lots of pressure on the developers nowadays, assuming they want to keep the list up-to-date.

Yep, GT500 cars are between LMP2 and LMP1. They are more prototypes than GT cars. There is also a "tires war" in Super GT with four manufactures when Hankook is the only one in DTM.HMM.. GT500 faster than DTM, Is this a fact?
I've always thought the new aero packages present on the Super GT500 cars were designed to conform to DTM specs in preparation for this "merger" that was rumoured to happen some time in the near future. Talk of this merger popped up around the same time the GT500 cars underwent their intended transformations for the 2014 season. Coincidentally I lost interest in Super GT after 2013. (for various reasons) so all this time I've just assumed DTM and GT500 current performance levels were identical.

But Super GT is Japanese so is KazIs super GT a FIA thing? If not, nope
The 2014 Audi R18 would have only qualified 4th in GT500 at Fuji last year based on quali times - the current GT500s are monstrously fast. The tiny four-pots kick out some extraordinary horsepower figures which goes a long way to explaining it, but they do squeeze a bit more out of each platform every year. A complete merger is looking less and less likely to happen; it's a flawed concept that serves no real purpose in my view and the logistics of making it gel together haven't been properly sorted.Wow I thought you would say in-between DTM and LMP2 but they're on par if not faster than LMP2? Damn. So the old ones are more GT cars if anything. You learn something new everyday. Now I truly understand your suspicions about the GR.2 class being a spot for GT500. Though since I learned of this GR.2 class anonymity, I was hoping it would be LMP2 cars but I wont stipulate.
Doesn't mean it will be included in a FIA focused game, one can hope thoughBut Super GT is Japanese so is Kaz
Kaz won't let his nation down by not bringing new GT500 & GT300 cars![]()

Are all those fake cars FIA? So yes, it is perfectly possible. Is super GT a FIA thing? If not, nope
By fake, you mean cars that are virtually tuned to have the same BoP? You can't merge a race series that isn't FIA into something that is the FIA. That's like NASCAR in GTS. Not happening. Are all those fake cars FIA? So yes, it is perfectly possible.
VGTis FIA? Or the not an actual race car but one made up to fit a category. Is that FIA? And tracks accuracy? I think the rally track won't be used in the FIA championships given all the brands along the track like Pirelli, GoPro...when the Tokyo and oval tracks have none. It must be a part of the agreement, no additional brands in the track. (Except the ones already there in real life). There is no "FIA Racing Series" in GTS. There is are two online championships certified by the FIA. They are championships that the FIA recognise as official events, that is all. There is absolutely nothing to say those events couldn't contain vehicles that are in non-FIA series in real life, because as said, they already contain fictional cars. If the racing events were strictly FIA regulated like a real world series they wouldn't contain those either.
Also as I said, the whole sum of FIA involvement in GTS are those two championships. That is it. Even if Super GT cars weren't allowed in those two championships there is absolutely no reason they couldn't exist in the rest of the game.
Might as well have bumper cars in GTS too then. There is no "FIA Racing Series" in GTS. There is are two online championships certified by the FIA. I don't know how to respond to that.Might as well have bumper cars in GTS too then.
