Dragracing, no thanks. Even to call that racing is just ridiculous...

Trolls gonna troll.

Anyways, if they make a true system and as Inari pointed out have the physics to match it, then I'll do it. As it stands I rather not line up on the back straight of Indy just to "simulate" a non-simulated drag racing in an already racing sim...

No,racing in a straight line bores me stupid but I don't have anything against those who like it or ever have done.

If they make a proper drag racing venue and have actual drag racing physics, burnouts, etc... yes. If it's the usual floor-it-through-four-gears-at-rev-limiter nonsense, no.

Sonoma, Hockenheimring and Slovakiaring all have a drag strip on site, therefore if PD can get one of these into the game, it would be a natural base for drag racing. Otherwise, just build a drag strip on the back straight of SSRX. Finding a track to use shouldn't be a problem.

SSRX
SSR7
SSR5
High Speed Ring
Grand Valley
Rome
Tokyo R246
Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Top Gear Test Track
La Sarthe
Monza
Fuji

^I believe* all of these GT5 circuits have a "flat" straight that is over 1/4 mile long.

Throw in the strip at Sonoma, GT4's Las Vegas Drag Strip, and the rumored Bandimere Speedway and us drag racing fans will be doing the running man like it's 1993.

No. I don't really understand the appeal of it. Driving in a straight line is more boring to me than driving around an oval. And any chance of this form of racing being fun in the online section is completely diminished by those who use over-tuned Veyrons & ZR1 Corvettes.

Not that much into drag racing, though if it's well done it could be fun. I'd sure love to do some roll racing with tire restrictions so it comes down to throttle management and tuning, but not launch methods
