RRCarClass.png

There will be two classes in the the Championship; Primary Class and Promotions Class. Primary Class will consist of mostly dedicated and committed
drivers, while the Promotions class will be reserved for newly signed drivers (after round 1) and part-time drivers. Cars are categorized as follows.
(Number of cars for each classes are yet to be finalized)

CarSelectionWRC.png

Manufacturer Teams
Each Manufacturer (Car) will consist of 2 drivers. There will be separate points championship for both Drivers and Manufacturers respectively.
There are also separate championships for both Primary and Promotions Class, but both are combined for an overall championship as well.

Car Switching
You are expected to run the whole championship with the car you singed-up with. In Primary Class, If you're teammate drops out in the middle
of the season, the top driver from the Promotions Class will take his place.

RRCalendar.png

CalendarWRC.png

Stages
Each Rally will consist of 2 Main Stages and 1 Power Stage. The Power Stage will have bonus points awarded for the top 3 fastest times.
Atleast 80% of the tracks will be user generated mixed with the pre-made tracks already in the game (ie. Eiger Trails).

RRRallyProcedure.png

Each Rally (7-14 days/rally) will be held in a public online lobby. Any driver can attempt to set their individual times on any given day within
the official duration of the Rally. All runs must be watched and confirmed (along with the cars legality) by a fellow competitor. Replays should
always be saved for archiving. Along with the afformentioned procedure, there will also be official days where I (Masi_23) will host sessions.
(Time-slots TBA)

id be interested seems like a good bit of fun and would make a change 👍

It should be a good change of pace.

I'm working on getting a capture device so by the end of each week, top 3 drivers will have their videos posted like the one above

whats the specs btw ? i need to know before i even try driving any of them lol

Haven't determined just yet. Needs some testing.

I think the Suzuki is a tad slower than the Focus and the Citroen, but im not too sure. Same goes with the Premium Subie.

Well Real life tells us that Subaru quit WRC as the Hatch was utter pants and the Suzuki was allways uncompetitive
id try homoligate the 2004 WRC subaru as its my Fav rally car ever!!

Yeah, would be nice to have Makinen's Evo also.

By the way, we'll have the Suzuki as the standard for homologating - meaning, we'll base all the other cars on the performance of the Suzuki in its stock form.

Well, basically, the 2nd stage is the power stage. I think two stages should be enough for the first season to minimize the time the each event is run, but, if much preferred, we can add more stages.

I might open up a thread in the 'Series' section and see if we can attract more drivers.

masi anything i can go on if im to help test the cars lol?

Another good idea, another series I have to join :sly: My C4 and Focus rally cars are starting to rust in my garage so I fancy giving them a bit of dirt to chew on :dopey: Are you going to have stewards to watch people's runs? If so I'm willing to be one of them.

I think anther competitor is good enough since cutting is effectively ruled out (Damage will be set to heavy). I'll be creating the tracks and they will be as tight and complex as it is in the video above :)

They will vary from Ice to Gravel. No tarmacs for the first season (It's too wide in the course creator anyway).

By the way, is there a list somewhere with all the Rally Cars in GT5?

D.P. Edit

Actually, we can use Nordscheife as a Tarmac course. We can also use that one long variation of Eiger :)👍

Opening a thread in Series section soon.

I'm in! I've been in many GT5 rally races and they were fun. Count me in! Hopefully I can make the races.

Thanks Paul! For the list, too.

By the way, i think you missed one. I found the Citroen Xsara kit-car some days ago. It's FF though, but it handles nice (sound good, too).

@ elitedreamer -

i edited in the ones i missed or the person who worte that list i didnt check it lol just copy pasted :sly: he must not like citroens since he missed them completely and the delta but isnt their a Lancia S4 Group B in GT5?

Edit the list is full now 👍

So, a few questions. What cars are permitted? Is the RM Impreza '05 allowed? (Not driving this but some like to use this car) What classes are going to be included? I might of missed something when it comes to classes. That's all I have to ask as of now.

Thanks Paul 👍 now all i need is find all those cars in the UCD :D

@ Elitedreamer - well, the premium WRC cars are primary class and cars for promotions class (so far) are the two RMs; Evo and Subaru. More will be added (possibly in the primary class, too) after a bit of testing.

By the way, Primary and Promotions class have seperate points championships but both are combined for an overall championship also.

Right... Other than the two RMs (premium evo and subie), every car in BLUE below are potential additions to the promotions class - the ones with the line across i already have.

Need help with acquisitions so i can go ahead with testing :D

Also, it would be of big help if you can contribute in collecting cars for testing.
