Hi Jerome, just thought i would pop in say i havent forgot about this mate, my first outing in the RUF was comical, realised 2 things,

1)I cant drive on ice

2)I certainly cant drive a 425BHP Ruf on Ice!

I will submit a time sunday eve though im sure, i think your deadline is -8 hours for me so if its 6pm here its 10am there??

That is fine Dave, actually u have until noon my time (LA time) so if your time difference is correct u have until 8 not 6 to submit your time :)

Good News:
I managed a clean 18.0 / 35.1 in historic forward, and it's less than a tenth off my dirty one :D

Bad News:
Along the way, I saw a 17.8 T1, and a 35.0 T2 (on different laps) which means there's still .300 or maybe more left :scared:

I think I'll move on the reverse and see if I can improve some there ...

I played around with some WRC class cars the other night, but couldn't find one that I wanted to run (I wanted to run either the Focus or the Escort). Forgive me if it's already been discussed, but why not run the WRC class with stock hp? Most of the cars are pretty evenly matched that way, and would be a blast to drive. Right now, only a couple of cars can get anywhere close to the 530hp limit, making the competitive choices pretty limited. I think the discrepancy will show up even more when we're not on snow ... just a thought :P

I really need to try improving my WRC class times, but I feel like I am hitting a wall with that car.

The Subaru I took in Open 4WD is proving to be a huge disapointment, but the Startos is doing a lot better then I had expected very flickable if not lacking traction.

And I'm going to get you Max, the rotory shall prevail!
 
Redline: It's a welcome challenge. :) I just gotta trim up some slack in the reverse time and I should be darn near done with the DMC.

Now the starion on the other hand... I think I finally got it figured out for the reverse course. :)

Glad to hear u guys are enjoying Stage I. I know I am, but tonight I need to grow a pair and ask a girl out to a work-related event tonight.... :nervous: :scared: One thing I DON'T miss about being single...fear of rejection...*OUCH*. But then again there's nothing quite like the blood rushing to your head now is it? LOL.

I got to hang out with her off and on last night, she had a bunch of friends with her so our time was limited, nothing big as she just got out of a long term relationship. But i did spend half the night playing blackjack with her mom (by supervisor's boss aka my bos' boss..lol) AND played craps with her step father and uncle as well :sly: 👍 . I had a few too many but her mom kept feeding me Corona's... :drool: :drool: :drool: What am I gonna do say no? NO! I"ll have to just play it cool until we discuss more on relationships; we touched on it a bit yesterday. But time will tell, she's the kind of girl that tends to get guys real easy, so I won't get my hopes up.

I've got an update for:

Historic Reverse
T1: 11.712 (pb: 11.4)
T2: 28.474

Looks good from the splits, but I overcooked it into the last corner, and lost 0.300 running too wide. I have a dirty 28.7 that's a tenth faster :( I might still try to improve it, but I don't think I'll ever match that middle sector. It took me almost 400km to get the lap I have :ouch:
 
Aww...I should have read about this/messed around on rally earlier. I hated rally a week ago, but I was :censored:ing around yesterday and had a ton of fun... :dopey: Interesting how FF and FR cars do not run much different. I ran a Camaro SS (new), 240RS road car, and a Taurus around Chamonix and the spread of times was only about 10 seconds, with the Camaro up front. I expect that to be caused by the road section, though.

Anyway,I just noticed something weird on my CZ-3 tarmac rally car.
It's LSD rear settings,to be exact,are weird.Only thing I can change is the initial torque,and
it's maximum is 130,not the usual 60.I just wonder,would that DQ me from the race or ....?

I wrote it here,and didn't send PM so everyone can see the problem.

AS for rally.....crap. I never even got to run except for my original splits. Somewhere between cleaning for next week, work, school and running errands(yay I got my license finally!) I haven't had much time to run, plus my PS2 is giving me problems again. I might need to rig a cooling system for it because it keeps getting really hot(and thus freezing up games), it's hot even in standby mode.

When ever you're not playing PS2,turn it of on the main switch located on the back.
And clean your PS2 with a vacum cleaner every 2 weeks.
